Thank you so much for showing all stages of the flower. I wasn’t sure what the stems looked like, I’ve only ever seen the flower once it starts to bloom.
Thank you! This is the most comprehensive information I've found for L squamigera planting & care. I have 10 very large, very mature clumps growing in my yard. They were here when I moved in, and have not been divided for at least 6 years. I am moving to acreage & would like to divide them to replant at the new property. I have a million questions!! It's currently the first week of September; I am in zone 6B, and my flowers have finished blooming. Can I dig bulbs now? Or should I wait til October or November? I won't have access to the land for fall planting, so how do I store the bulbs until I can plant them? Will it be best to replant the bulbs in spring or summer? Thank you, again, for sharing your helpful growing tips!!
You can dig them up right away. Let them dry in a shaded area, shake off all the dirt and store them in a brown bag in garage or basement. plant them once the ground is ready to be worked upon.
I’m excited to have my first surprise lily bulbs and your videos have helped me know just how to plant and care for them. Thank you! I will watch more!
Good to see the information video, as the flower grown in my garden, my child asked what is this flower called ? next goes your nice information video. thank you
These bloomed and surprised us in the garden bed a few years after we moved into our home. The previous owner must have planted them. We noticed they don't bloom every year. Do you know how often they produce a flower?
It's possible that not every bulb produces flowers every year. Once the leaves start to grow feed it phosphorus rich fertilizer so that the bulbs get the energy to bloom next year

Glad it was useful. Let me know if you want me to make a video of a certain plant
When should I separate them? We have a lot of them but they are clumped all in a pile.
After the blooms die
Will they survive in summer rainfall region of Indian Subtropical Climate?
Yes. If the foliage dies, the bulbs will still remain
If the foliage has died, do you trim it off or do you leave it
Trim it off

What do I do after they bloom? Should I cut the stem/ remove the bulb and re plant it?
After the blooms fade away, cut the stems at the bottom. If the ground does not freeze in winters where you live, leave them as is.
Thanks for your informative video, When is the best time to transplant these bulbs?
Right after they finish blooming in late summer
How do you harvest the seeds pods and what to do with them dry them out or when can you plant them?
I haven't done that, I just depend on the bulbs to multiply
Where did you purchase your belladonna bulbs?
Got it from a friend
Question, on pink ladies, does the green foliage die off on its own,or do I cut it back
It dies on its own
When the leaves die, I've just been leaving them, but should I be removing them?

@@siripoohmsoonparayarnon4329 that's alright. Leaves will die in a few months and then these will bloom in summers
Should i grow them in a pot? Or they do best in the ground?
@@siripoohmsoonparayarnon4329 both are fine
