HOLY SHIT, THANK YOU SO MUCH you explain stuff very accesibly. are you gonna do more tutorials in future perharps? smoothbrain like me is shocked, that there is like only two tutorials on FT2, with one of them having part2 never released.
@@trevor_mounts_music definitely true, 9xx is awesome on protracker clone because you can see what the exact number in the sample editor i prefer this way in fast tracker to remove guess work and what not, but you’re 100% right
@@yungstigmatamanne milkytracker will tell you the offset number too! Just figured that out recently! Good stuff though - this is exactly like chopping up in an old rack sampler. Wish I saw this like two years ago would have saved me a ton of time and headache 😂
i am using on mac and can't even delete a step haha! how is this done? I have been following shortcuts to none avail aha! just keep having to restart projects aha
@@wilbaforce7904 if i remember correctly its selecting the step with shift and arrow keys and “ctrl (cmd?) - x “ edit: or you have to be in edit mode for the delete key to do anything? this problem is ringing a bell from when i started with it haha

You can also use the sample offset command and save a ton of time and space in your .XM - have to be cut fairly short though...like 1-2 bars long.
