503!! Damn. That shopping cart really did some damage.
@@hakeemspiveyakabusforcejesus incorrect its still sitting in the morris park facility being used for spare parts
Year 2000. I was 6 that time. Great vid
Not a single M7 or M9 in sight. Plenty of M1s and M3s, the DE/DM30ACs were JUST starting to receive K5LLs, while quite a bit still had their original K5LAs. The NYC-bound side now has the SPRAWLING Apartment building called The Crossing At Jamaica Station.
Wow, 503 in it, nice!
great take of dm30ac 503 and a great video 5 stars
Sad site of DM30AC 503 had an Accident 19 years ago and never come back to Service and its now Scrapped idk R.I.P EMD DM30AC 503 1998-2000
DM30AC #503..........
It’s 503! The train that went into fire.

503 train that caught fire omg lol
Yes it was
DM30AC 503 RARE
Wow… LIRR M1’s, M3’s and diesels from the year 2000 (two years before the NTT trains arrived in 2002 which are the Bombardier M7’s). I never rode on a Budd M1 on neither railroad in my life (especially the Metro-North M2’s) and I’m still struggling to ride an M3 on the Long Island Rail Road. I’ve rode a M3 before on the Hudson Line on the Metro-North Railroad last year, but never on the LIRR. If you are a fan of these Budd rail cars, be sure to catch these LIRR M3’s and Metro-North M3’s before they get completely replaced by these Kawasaki M9’s. The M7’s and M9’s are not that bad, but they will never be the same like these Budd Railcars had ran on my childhood memories.
0:18 503, The locomotive hit a shopping cart and the cab turn into a thunderstorm Lol
Rip 503
omg its 503
what horn did 503 have ?
what do you mean ?
back in 2000 i think in October the 503 hit a cart in Huntington and caught fire and was destroyed
Cool Story bro
the 2nd April afterwards, cops took to squawking about my taking snapshots there
What camera was you using?
nice video
@EMDFAN1988 I film at Jamaica alot. Cops don't bother me.
was this after the GP38-2's were gone?
The EMD DE30ACs (Numbered 400 - 422) and the DM30ACs (Numbered 500 - 522) (507 converted to 423 after motor issue) replaced the worn out GP38-2 that were all sent to either the New York and Atlantic Railway or GATX after the EMDs arrived.
They used anything they could from engine 503 for parts after it was out of commission.
Long Island Railroad New York 2018
@EMDFAN1988 agreed
What the hell was that wild scream I heard at 5:53 of this video?
Probably ghetto fuks. It's a ghetto area
what happened to 503?
Mike C hit a shopping cart
@EMDFAN1988 just doin their job. idk what the laws are for filming trains, but making a video out of a window (railfan, side, etc) i dont see how could possibly be a problem
Why couldn’t The EMD company make a new DM30AC 503
edit I know about the accident in 2000 I was born in 1999
edit 2 I heard about it from a friend
EMD stopped making DE/DM30ACs when the crash happened
@EMDFAN1988 lol.
RIP 503
Great video!! Back then you could easily get away with videoing in Jamaica.. Now adays post 9-11, If you point a camera at a train there 50 cops show up...
I've been there 3 times, and nobody pays any mind.
