16:8 is perfect for me. Love the feeling of eating until comfortably stuffed and not putting on weight, it’s liberating. Nick is so clever. My daughter is looking for a clever guy. 😁
I think, in my case, it has to do with age. In 20's through 40's surfing hard every day, I needed huge meals at least twice a day. Now in my 60's less active (but still doing physical labor) I feel best on one medium sized meal a day. during the summer and two during our cold winters.
Coffee and cream are my carb every a m and thru the day. Also cutting processed food (CARBS) and if you can navigate that track plus fasting as much as possible. Mainly carny and so less hungry and save money!!!!
I was able to commit to 20 g carbs. I allowed myself one treat on the weekend. I skipped breakfast for 6 months and ate lunch and dinner mostly non starch veg and a palm size of meat. I only ate until comfortably full. I lost 30lbs in six months following this strictly. Beware of potential gallstones or sludge skipping breakfast amd rapid weight loss. Gallbladder can get backed up. Research gallstones and rapid weight loss and fasting.
@ Yes. I think I’m ok now as I have been taking a supplement that contains digestive enzymes, ox bile and betain with pepsin. I took it everyday before my largest meal for several weeks. Now I just take it if I start to feel discomfort in gallbladder area.
Keto (< 20g Carbs) and Carnivore NATURALLY creates an 18/6 - to - OMAD Intermittent Faster. Hunger drops a lot. Usually 2MAD but some days I can only eat 1 meal.
I eat carnivore on a 6 hr window . So I eat 1-2 times a day until full. For me it works great. I am just at 3 months in. I am down 45+ lbs. I am off blood pressure meds (was on them for 10+ year's) I sleep better (no longer snore) I was supposed to be on a CPAP. Inflammation is gone.
I love how ALL THESE PODCASTS FAIL TO FACTOR IN those of us who HAVE METABOLIC/DIGESTIVE issues such as: GASTROPARESIS, NAFLD, POTS, no longer have a gallbladder, etc. I eat TWICE a day and try and get a walk in but NO WEIGHT loss. Can't eat 3 or 4 times a day. And SOME PEOPLE have TRIED A KETOGENIC DIET a d NEVER LOST WEIGHT UNTIL 4 MONTHS IN!!

Sued o hunger. Love that term.
Food pyramid keeps you sick and hungry.
Medical research is so dysfunctional and inept, we need to do our own research. And that’s why these podcasts are so popular

Curcumin and extra taurine or tudca will liquify bile.
Was doing similar... Discovered gallstones 😮
Had 3 attacks which I never attributed to gall stones.

Wish I had known gallstones were a risk. I would have taken that supplement while doing weight loss.

Keto diet and intermittent fasting are best

Great talk, please cover PQQ for supporting mitochondrial biogenesis and health. Loss of GSH, Melatonin, CoQ10 etc. with age is noteworthy.
Losing visceral fat vs losing weight
First! Yay Jesse and Nick!👍
According to David Sinclair 1 meal a day, eat all at once, is very beneficial. I cannot eat that much once a day. I agree with this researcher.

Tim Tams are the best choc biscuits in Australia. My opinion. I agree not just one…😊
