  • Today digging through older material from "Damnation" 2020 writing sessions if I can find some nuggets of gold that I have forgotten about! I only show a few clips, I will continue digging for treasures after camera stops, don't wanna spoil too much! I found more stuff after filming.
Also, not everything I mark as "interesting" neccessarly has to be used in the final production.
It might go back into the archive, but giving some years to recorded ideas and listening with fresh ears can give you some new perspectives and maybe connect dots in a different way to combine old and new things together into something really cool.
In the next video I will go through some "Hymns Of Triumph And Death" material in a quest for more possible material to repurpose!

I believe we all rely on the "recycling" technique and it's interesting how NEW records ended up containing songs or at least chunks written years ago 😅

So many cool pieces & ideas in your project collection, Cubase Pro looks like a fun way to stay organized & develop creative jams! Just played the new Bronze album & it was epically amazing & I can't wait to hear it again, rock on Ced, looking forward to what's next for you & Blazon Stone! 🖤🎶💗🤘🤘🔥⚡💥✨😊🍻

Yeah, it's amazing! It can be done in Elements and Artist too, but I really need the Pro version for various functions to keep workflow speed up. The export system is much more advanced and useful in Pro vs the others. That's the main reason. Haha
      Thanks!
I didnt write any songs for Bronze tho, that is Minas songs, I only contributed with producer spice :)

Definitely like some of those riffs & licks there. 🤘🏴‍☠
2:53, 3:40, 4:15 really stand out for me. 5:20 is pretty cool also.

No garuantee any of these will be used, since I have also already 15 songs in total in my "possible songs for the album" project, but the elimination process keeps going! Haha

@@BlazonStone i get it. But those particular riffs really capture that RW spirit that make me want to blast them while going down a windy road in my old Trans Am. Pure metal bliss. 🤘

I like your overwriting technique, it really shows in the quality. How many albums now do you see with one banger and the rest is filler?

      Thanks!
The idea is simply to not get stuck too long on one riff or melody, and just move on to make a new different one rapidly until "something sticks". Of course I work in detail on material at some point, but during the base writing, cannot get stuck or I wont get to the diamonds. haha!
