    Dave Olson's Deer Hair Deceiver is a great saltwater streamer pattern that will catch just about any inshore species that feeds near the surface.     Materials used
    Hook: Standard saltwater size 4-3/0
    Thread: GSP and Danville's to match colour
    Tail: Bucktail flanked with 2 saddle hackles each side.
    Flash: Crystal flash
    Body: Spun deerhair
    Collar: Saddle hackle

    Great job Martyn. That's a cool pattern, sort of looks squid like with that front hackle.

      Thanks Joe, I think you're right. it'd probalbly make a nice squid immitation fished near the surface over a rip
