jiara to me is a joke. we started out with "no pogue on pogue macking" and now she's gonna be onto her third of her guy friends ? if she don't really like them why is she trowing them bones to begin with? this is why everyone only cares about kiara as a love interest, the writers just pass her around and did the worst job with her s2. i also don't see what fans are hyping and screaming about, she talks to both pope and jj as if they're her little brothers, there's no tension there at all. and the annoyance when writers actually let viewers dictate how their show will be written... it's frustrating.
people, or say fangirls, are so obsessed with jj they want kiara to get with him as a self-insert. it was obvious since the beginning bc the show sure did not write that relationship, the fangirls did.

lowkey agree( to a certain extent)...she looks like a homie hopper. But in the beginning she was like "no Pogue on Pogue making." I feel like , the "love triangle " trope between her pope and jj would have been enough vele. There was no need for the John b kiss😭with that it's just proving that males and females can't be JUST FRIENDS which sucks becouse there are millions of people that are just friends 💯no alterior motive💯 I do ship jiara...but if she ends up choosing herself I wouldn't be mad🤞

Ok not to judge but maybe the writers thought about the idea just cause some fans shipped them doesn’t mean they dictated the show
2. My thought
I feel that the kiss at season 1 happened at first cause Kiera actually liked John b but after she kinda realized it would probably be better as friends.
3. Pope and Kiera happened because Kiera was prob attracted to pope’s smarts and personality traits but she only did it to just see and experience her first relationship and try’s it out.
4. Jiera
I didn’t really think about this ship until I kinda rewatched the show and I feel the writers kinda hinted this and I like the ship because Kiera is kinda of older and more experienced with relationships. Ima be honest jj wasn’t my fav character but this ship is a good one from the scenes that happened

the writers didn’t even intend to make jj and kiara a thing madison and rudy just have amazing chemistry together and the fans saw that and made a whole ship out of it they said that they are definitely going to make them a thing because the majority of the fans ship them more but since it caught them off guard they are going to play out pope’s and kie‘s relationship first like they were planning on from the beginning
But why in the first season did Kiara ask John B if he told JJ about their kiss if she didn’t care about what he thinks. To me that is an obvious sign that she liked him.

Here's some context behind pope and kiara in case you didn't watch the rest of season 1:
Basically, pope had confessed to kiara that he was into her but she rejected him (which he didn't respond kindly to). Then in the last episode, emotions were high, they were worried for their friends, and then she kissed him. This obviously made pope really happy but I think we can see that kiara is sorta still on the fence about this.
They talk about it in episode 4 so I recommend checking that one out

I agree that the little cheek kiss between Kiara and pope was not really romantical. I kimda feel like Kiara might have feelings for jj but doesn't want to admit it in order to protect their friendship. Or something like that. So she sticks with pope. She does love pope, but only as a friend. And I think to keep things "safer" she ignores her own feelings and stays with him rather than risking something with jj. Am I making sense here lol?
That would actually make for a great plot line especially since she asked john b in s1 if he told jj about the kiss. Like why would she need to ask that?? And jj said at the beginning how she would always reject him but she was open to pursue stuff with john b and pope. It would be interesting to have her admit to being afraid of starting something with jj because she knows that her feelings for him are real/strong.

@@AnthonyRecenello chase stokes said that it was a very difficult scene to shoot for him.He said that in order to get into that feeling he had to imagine that someone he personally love irl is gone.And he also said that he literally cried 8 hours straight after shooting that scene .He hated that feeling:( which is actually so sweet considering their relationship in real life.Such a cute couple:)

Honestly, I think John B's father is a Beach Boys fan. There's an old folk song made popular by the Beach Boys about a ship wreck called Sloop John B. It gets stuck in my head every time anyone says his name.

I honestly wasn't sure about your abilities until I saw this video. Yes yes and yes! They cast a bunch of Twin Flames on this show and the chemistry is transferring to the characters. Kiara and JJ also have a "Pure" love. Good use of the word Pure because that's exactly what Twin Flame love is. Romeo and Juliet were also Twin Flames so great mention, your Soul instinctively knows what it's looking at even if your conscious mind has not caught up. The thing with JJ and Kiara is that they have family/identity issues to work through. As they start healing their issues and coming closer to their authentic selves, they will get closer. The writers did an amazing job of this. That's how Twin Flames work. And Cleo is Pope's Twin Flame (not sure if irl too like the other two couples). But on the show def. And they only met each other when Pope was coming into his manhood, aka standing up for himself, affirming his needs and wants, setting straight priorities ect, that's when they met. I think it's cool though that JohnB and Sara were helped by "Pope" even when he wasn't around. When Cleo helped them on the boat, it was like Pope was there too because that's what Twin Flames are. As JJ and Kiara heal their issues, they will start awakening to being each other's match, just like Sarah and Johnb
I mean, yeah, season 2 John B and Sarah are quite balanced and lifelike and I adore them, but when you said their relationship is not overdone I cannot help but thought about the scene when they are going into the storm and John B said "I'd rather die than go to jail!" and Sarah's answer to that is "I'd rather die than live without you!" like people you are 17, been together for like what max a couple weeks, what the hell? Over-the-top much?

@@tink6225 Definitely. Teenagers are often quite over the top with their feelings so I would not fault them for that but yeah maybe not the most applicable to adult realtionships all the time.
