My younger brother found this game, asked me to try it out with him. Then, almost immediately tells me to not bother hopping on because it's a boring auto battle game. You know it's bad when even a kid thinks it's trash.

the EVERYTHING in the interview kinda disgusts me. I understand not being able to pay for artists, but they already passed on other work to people. they could have asked somebody they knew, instead of using ai art which, even though they dont really think is stealing because theyre not sending references to the ai, is already trained off stolen work

Ok I already thought the game would’ve been bad as soon as u said they used ai and they’re… one of those roblox games, but auto battles? Like, I wanna do an actual turn based rpg, not whatever the heck this is.

Thats only really one small reason why. Even wean we do get main story updates on these games not that many people play for long periods of time. The truth of the matter is most the player base for these games are the older audience that keep coming back. Younger players just are less likely to keep playing for long periods of times given how shorten the average attention span is. Unfortunately people just aren’t really interested in Roblox creature catchers as much they used to be.

I think the games are dying because people want a good story but also want rare monsters without spending hours searching for one or paying for gamepasses, and also that when their main party gets leveld up it’s hard to level up any of your new ones you catch and also that some moves are very confusing to understand (ahem loomian legacy) and seeing so many people have crazy rare shiny monsters while the game just released a few months ago is very discouraging imo
One of the monsters in the game has the exact same name as another creature from an entirely different game. (Carapinch)

im not the best at art , but making a creature capturing game with actual designs would be an insane acomplishment to pull off, A.I. has good art but it doesnt hold a candle to true human designs and the immagination we possess

Few things i dislike about uses of ai when comes to creature catching games is that it can take jobs away from artists who put there soul heart on every design and characters and other stuff it sorta makes the game feel empty when using ai and it just takes away the creativity away 😔

@@vktroylion9859 as someone who draws character and creatures i see this a bit annoying and especially for other ccg when they are trying avoid allowing ai in drawing contest like reskins of such of how it been getting more advanced will make it annoying to see who legit and who actually putting effort instead of just typing words and slapping photo to ai to do it i already see this as issue for the Pokémon card art contest of how it took i believe if i remember 5 slots and they were all ai so yeah this going become a much bigger issue in the future i mean im ok if they use it correctly but when comes to art that a no no as people put a lot love to the art and seeing ai steal other people work to make stuff is not ok and should be illegal or not even be allowed i know it can be used as tool but gotta be used correctly as it taken manyyy people jobs already 😔
@@jakecookie5448 personally i've seen artists do a worse job than these AI sprites though (even though AI seemed to mash things together here like bulbasaur and maybe more distinct "originals" on other images) and still get approved, AI can do things artists can't in some cases but yes humans should be able to do better especially when nitpicking + even be inspired from AI. I think this is fitting for a separate different content of endless images to collect even if turns out low quality pure AI because of the super fast production rates but if it splits the playerbase playing that's a different matter entirely which also impacts artists ofc.
The games that have amazing story and lots of things to do, people somehow call it a bad game or never play it. So please tell me why you have a game where you do NOTHING and more people are playing it??? Next thing you know there just going to play a game called "Nothing RNG" where you do obviously nothing in the game and will have over 10k players. Roblox is actually ruined and they definitely won't do anything about it.

doodle world is iffy, wish makes it a bit questionable at times with certain decisions, and definitely some balancing stuff
I agree I want what's best for all CCG's I have sadly lost intrest in Loomian Legacy, Doodle World, Tales Of Tanorio but I stayed with them. I would love to see CCG's revive. True doesn't derserve hate they try their best I feel and that's all I want.
There is no reason for it to get so serious. This game could have just been a fun single person project prototype. But somehow magically became a bit popular for no reason.

I actually played this game a few days ago. It's definitely going to be one of those games that lose popularity fast. It's awfully made, repetitive and boring. It's clearly rushed and has a lot of weird issues. Like one of the npc's saying you can "catch Pokémon by walking in grass", even though they aren't Pokémon and you actually cannot encounter any creatures in grass, and there's some weird bugs like beaten npc's saying you haven't beaten them yet.
My dad told once how we should use ai for art more often to our advantage. I disagree because one thing ai will never have is human soul and creativity

They won't, they already took down Pokemon Brick Bronze way back in 2018. Loomian Legacy devs made PBB, and Tales of Tanorio used to have Pokemon.

I believe that AI should be used in art, but not to create. It should be used as a tool to help artists, not replace them.

Loomian Legacy and Battlemon RNG are kinda like chili and chili jam in a way. You give them some fanmade arcane creatures the kids go:"Nah i am fine with pokemon." As soon you place the word rng they go:"ohh!" This is why casinos are 18-21+.
Anyway, creature caputuring isnt that big of a genre and the game will probably die quickly.
Roblox players are becoming lazy. Nowdays they only want to make games for "cash grabs" and thats so annoying. Roblox needs to do something about these ai generated thumbnails, its getting quite annoying.
I will say that i do have a game idea. If youve ever heard of CRK the ideas similar to it. But as i do not know how to mske 2d and 3d characters its going to be quite a challenge.

In my opinion i couldn’t careless. People use Ai on a daily basis for simple tasks. Though also in my opinion if he wants this game to rise I would use AI help him create names or characters then change somethings. Ai is a tool that helps people, and people only make it a weapon if they choose it to be.
