Definitely the antichrist from season 5 I was really angry that dabb and the writer's replaced him with Lucifer actual son in season 12 to me Jesse should had returned that season especially for the fact that Lucifer was out of the cage 😠😡🤬
And Jacob pond he definitely should had returned in the final season of the show but I'm not surprised that dabb didn't bring that storyline back

Did Supernatural become the next TV show to predict the future? In season 15, episode 9, Sam and Dean discuss how the monsters have won while they travel in the fire landscape of their alternative future. The date on the screen says January 6, 2021. Has that episode even run this year on TNT before the other day?
Why introduce the AntiChrist and then never use them again? That kid could have saved their asses more than once. He also would have been a solid villain to fight. I mean it's wasted storyline.
I think that the writer's decided not to have him return was because he could only be of use was when Lucifer was out of the cage castiel said that the reason he was so powerful was because Lucifer walked the earth the only two seasons that he should had been brought back was season 11 and 12 I'm still angry that Andrew dabb decided to just retcon the hole storyline with Lucifer actual son I found that storyline to gross

Jessie the antichrist was introduced in early seasons, when there is no detailed setting about demons angels monsters and humans . But if you look beyond first 5 seasons, demons are just corrupted souls, they are essencially humans too, there is no reason for that kid to have excessive power, and that is very important to the main story especialy the ending, the reason Jack is extra powerful is because he is the only creature having both a grace and a soul.
My point is, it's less a forgotten item, more of a deleted one. Also christianity is more about Jesus than about God, it's more dangerous to anti the christ in US, but somewhat fine if you mess with the idea of god.

Sam said that his powers went away after Azazel died, and he was only able to use them when he was drinking demon blood. Plus, the trials in season 8 'purified' him so he wouldn't have had any demon powers left.
Came to say this but you hit all the points lol. I wouldn’t count it as something that wasn’t completed or didn’t have a conclusion.
Plus the priest blessed his blood or whatever.
I got the impression that he was getting sicker as the trials "purified" him and, had he completed them all, as Dean was warned, Sam would die--but he would be Heaven bound because he was fully purified.
Lol, Sam never said that, he said all of his visions stopped since Yellow Eyes, not that his powers left him, Azazel died in the finale of season 2, he still had his powers in season 3, and 4, he killed Lilith with it, remember?
Ruby proved to him that his powers were just dorment after the death of yellow eyes. When he was soulless in season 6 he would have had no moral problem drinking demon blood.
How could they forget about Sam’s demon blood powers? That was a kickass storyline.

I know, right? Enough power to annihilate Lilith in her totality. What made Sam so powerful compared to the other children? Hell, even if they made him weaker it could have made for a brilliant bit of comedy now and then. A quick flick of a finger and Dean's chair moves.
They could have gone so deep into the mythos. Sam and Dean being descendant of Enkidu and Gilgamesh, one a weapon made by the Gods of Babylon to kill Gilgamesh and the other a half god defying them.
The only thing I ever wondered about was Jesse, the antichrist. Well, I haven't ever bumped into him in Australia hahaha

I know right, he would be fully grown, hell a man by season 15 and they completely left him out! The only conclusion I could think of is that he wanted to live a normal life?

the roadhouse wasn't really a storyline but a world-building point that the creators could have made it so all hunter were organized and worked together to stop evil

The more you think about it the more you realize that even if all of the main people that worked at the roadhouse died it could have been given to Garth he ended up becoming the new Bobby for a few seasons and after he became a werewolf he could have kept it not only to support his family but also to keep his Bobby roll as being the medium for all hunters
Dean & Cassie. She was Dean's first love and he even promised her that he'd see her again. Lots of fans did some serious mental gymnastics to justify hating on Megalyn Echikunwoke (I won't go into them; not interested in being gaslit); but she and Jensen had smoking chemistry (and one of the best love scenes I've ever seen) and their lack of resolution is a problem.
Yes, it was weird that she wasn't even mentioned after. And I liked her as well as her and Dean's chemistry. While not my number one Dean'ship, it was an essential romantic relationship that shouldn't have been swept under the rug like that.
I'm not surprised that the writer's never brought back cassie when it comes to the show practically all of the female characters were treated awful and were expendable plus the female fans hated any woman that was with dean or sam

Lots of fans, um, I don't think so, early seasons this show has very little exposure except for a dedicated and somewhat crazy cult following, the shipping or to say CPing was out of control. Writers of the show even designed a character to both thank and mock them, she's called Becky.

War, Famine and Pestilence were more of one-off villains that didn’t see a point in returning to the series, while Death was a focal point and theme in supernatural.
Also War, Famine, and Pestilence really only harm humans. Death hits everyone.
The Antichrist child still irritates me that they never wrapped up that story line!

I'd like to think that Balphagor would bring the Antichrist back to take on Jack and remove Rowena from Hell. There was a hit out for Balph that Ketch was working on. So many possibilities.
Jensen explained at a con that they did introduce Jessie with plans to expand on him but then the writers started going somewhere else with the story and he just got left on the writers room floor. So yeah I’d say Jessie was the only real forgotten story.
They also forgot the plotline about the skinwalkers plan to infiltrate and turn all the american people into skin walkers that plot point had so much promise.
I wanted Jesse to come back and help with Chuck.

I figured it would be in the comments but did they ever resolve the sibling witches story? The one where the sister died and the brother used some dark magic to revive her or something.
I was thinking the same thing. i speculate they were planning on resolving that on The Wayward Sisters spinoff before it was canned.
No, they didn't, and I specifically found it odd when Sam was getting all the hunters into a metal silo bc Chuck was erasing worlds that they--or at least *he* wasn't there. Or wasn't even mentioned that they were safe somewhere--like Garth and his family.
During the trials of shutting the hell gates, Sam mentioned that those trails purified him. Hence no more "monster energy" for him.

@@CarlosThadeuI don't think 2 seasons is a "lot". Seasons 6 & 7 barely had anything to do with demons it was mostly about the purgatory, the monster mama and meat chomping jaws so I don't think his powers were any good there, also he swore he'd never do that ever again. So there it is.
That was Sam;s belief, but we got no confirmation of that and, later, Sam mentioned he might still have them, in that episode with the psychic girl
wrong, at Lucifer's gate, Sam and Dean died and God rebuilt them, Sam was made clean
Very surprised the storyline of "heaven is losing all its power" wasn't on here...during the later seasons they mentioned it quite a bit that heaven is powering down because there are no angels left...I mean Jack rebuilds it at the end but no mention whatsoever until then
I'm not surprised that the heaven losing power storyline wasn't on the list plus the storyline didn't make any sense because of the season 8 finale when all the Angel's fell from heaven
Probably it can be solved with ressurecting the angels. Not so big deal
Here's some simple answers:
10- Sam's plan, while noble, was impractical
9- The vampires probably needed time to replenish their numbers
8- Eve's defeat might have scared them back into hiding
7- The Bunker was a better execution of the base concept
6- While forgotten, it would have been cool to have Jesse cross paths with Jack
5- He's just a kid, his revenge would have taken longer than the show ran
4- Bloodlines was an interesting concept, if poorly executed, but a follow-up episode would have been nice
3- This wasn't forgotten, they split up; it happens
2- This wasn't forgotten either, he stopped drinking demon blood and his powers went away or into remission
HM- Okay, they did seem to forget about the Amazons
HM- Lucifer can't change, toxic narcissists never do
HM- Yes, they did seem to forget about Res-Sam's mean streak
HM- Death was different than the other three, his existence is vital to cosmic balance
1- Since we don't know Azazel's endgame (even releasing Lucifer was just one step) it's hard to say where this was supposed to have gone
I would have liked to see the Leprechaun make another appearance.
I would ahve loved to see Jesse vs Jack fight at some point since when Jack showed up,Jesse would had been grown up already,also i would have loved to see Sam drinking Demon blood again and fight his brother Dean back at S10 when Dean became a Demon and last but not least, The whole Azazel's Endgame was finding Lucifer's True vérselas, the whole Generals crap was a lie remember that at the end of S2 Azazel put every special kid together to do a Battle Royal cuz he wanted to see who was the strongest and he was holding it would be Sam,he even thank Dean for the Sacrifice,cuz Azazel said Demons can only bring Humans back for deal and it was all to see who was the worthy one to be Lucifer's vessel and Sam was the winner.

We did know Azazel's endgame and that was to release his father(Lucifer). It was revealed in the flashback in the season 4 finale.

@@KING_ZODINEUS Actually, no. Remember Lucifer told Azazel, to '...find me a child, a very, special child." See, not 'make a child' but find one. Luci knew who he was looking for, (Gabriel, told us that) he just needed Azazel to find him. Not sure why Lucifer just didn't tell him who he was looking for. Guess that was a oopsie, on the part of the writers. LOL
The following were NOT forgotten about:
The British Men of Letters were killed off by the American Hunters in the Season 12 finale. So there's no need for the Vamps to take revenge on them.
Dragons appeared as a monster of the week.
The Roadhouse was destroyed in Part One of Season 2's finale by demons.
Bloodlines simply wasn't picked up. So there's really no reason to bring it back up.
Sam left Amelia to go back together with her husband.
Sam's Demon Blood Powers were referenced in Season 5's premiere that whoever put him on the plane when Lucifer was released "cleaned him out". Later after feeding on Demon's due to Famine, Bobby and Dean lock him in Bobby's panic room and clean him out.
Azazel telling Dean that Sam was brought back different would have been cleared up properly by God when he was put on that plane in Season 5's premier after Lucifer was released that or Azazel was just screwing with Dean.
The other three horsemen were reduced to hunched over quivering messes as stated by a demon as they weren't killed.
Azazel's Demon Army was taken out and all went on to do their own thing after Azazel's death, and Sam not being there as the leader for them.
Not to mention the fans were begging for them to get rid of the British men of letters storyline 😅

Does anyone remember when heaven was literally dying because there weren’t enough angels? It was like a really big deal for a few episodes and then they just totally drop it.
Jack did like 30 new angels and that was enough for them I guess
I thought lucifer took over and that he was enough to keep heaven alive it was a necessary evil for the angels to allow him there right? Its been awhile since I've seen supernatural.

I'm still wondering whatever happened to Cas' wife in season 7? They introduced her as the person that recused Cas after he was blown apart by the Leviathan and even Dean met her and saved her from a demon attack and yet, no one remembers that she even exists.
Yeah I really wanted to see her in the final season 🤔

For me it was that the angel Anna was the only one that fell and was reborn as human. All the other angels fell later and none of them were reborn as humans. They just took over humans. Anna had a human childhood and up bringing. Why was it none of the other angels did?
I think it was because Anna separated from her Grace when she fell, the other angels didn't.
Sam Winchester should have been able to use his demon blood Powers at least a few more times after season 5
I wonder what would've happened if Sam drank angel blood. Would he have his powers again without the addiction? I always said to myself that humans r born with dormant psychic powers and demon or angel blood awakens them, but with angel...ur power grows each time u win (i.e. hunting, games, or a cop brings justice by taking down bad guys. Winning in general).
When Dean and Sam were trying to close the gates of hell, Sam said the trials were purifying him. I think part of the was purifying his blood too. Then Gadrial came along. Although I would have liked to see some Demon blood Sam, when he was all soulless.
I was glad they didn’t revisit that storyline, as cool as it was. Good Lord, I CANNOT stand seeing and hearing Sam go through all the demon withdrawal stuff again. It was CHILLING. The second time it happened was thankfully in passing.

You know, I always had that feeling that Amelia would be brought back again and there would be a twist where she got pregnant of Sam from that last night of theirs... It's a shame that never came to happen.
I wish they resolved the whole running out of angels storyline. They said there was like 7 angels left in heaven and it was gonna collapse because of it, but then they never fully addressed the storyline, and with the way it all ended it was obviously just forgotten or ignored by the writers
Not surprised when it came to the dabb era he kept constantly dropping storylines suddenly like what happened to the creature's that alternate Michael had created in season 14 suddenly they never appear again after the midseason premiere dabb really was a terrible showrunner

I was really looking forward to the spinoff Wayward Daughters I think it was called with Claire Novak, the girl found adopted by vampires (then later by Jody) and the girl who was psychic or something. That seemed like a cool idea. I think there was even a 4th girl who had the spear.
Yeah wayward sisters definitely would had been a great show but the network passed on it because they didn't think anybody would watch it I'm still furious about that 😠😡🤬

If there's one mystery I was always curious about is the one of the Shedim, the creatures that were deemed too dangerous and were locked in a special part of Hell and Lucifer was affraid of. Asmodeus tried to free them with Jack's help, but that failed and we never got to hear anything from them again. I mean, probably, if the series continued, we would be able to know more about them, but it's a shame God didn't use them against the brothers if he was planning to end their story and the Shedim were really that dangerous.

And when all the doors to hell opened, even the Cage, wouldn't their door open as well?
@@Amm1ttai Maybe the Shedim were in an isolated part of Hell. However, if their door was really opened, then that would make a great spin-off if they are as terrible as they appear to be.
If they extend the series which hopefully they do, they could make a whole season based off of this, if these creatures are that bad, idk how the fans would react but maybe Sam and dean come back as arc or normal angles to fight the army, I think it would be a great idea cause if even lucifer is scared of them, it must mean that Sam and dean being angles would still be a good battle, but yeh idk how people would feel about them becoming angles but I think they could pull it off and pull out some bigger and badder creatures for them to face
It says in the show that Jesse got his power when Lucifer walked the earth during the End times which the boys stopped! So no Lucifer or Apocalypse... NO Anti-christ! Sam's demon blood powers were removed after he underwent the demon tablet trials. He even says in the show that the trials were purifying him.
Also Lucifer and the Mark of Cain storyline. I mean we got plenty of dean and Mark of Cain but it's origin got only a few references. I mean Lucifer getting the Mark of Cain was revealed to be a big part of how he became who he is. It would hv been amazing if they had explored it a little bit more. It would hv obviously made him alot more likeable better and a more sympathethic villian. It would hv been an amazing touch to the story.
Speaking of forgotten monsters, why not more Wendigo episodes? Wendigo’s were a hell of lot more interesting than Roogaroos.
I also found the lack of questions about Jess from say, Jess’s family and friends kind of annoying.
Probably cause Wendigos were established as one way to take down and more like a wild bear waking up than anything. Way too low in powerlevel. Same with stuff like a woman in white or the basic ghosts of the early seasons. Too easy.
Jess was a demon since before sam met her, like others of sams friends sooooooo

I liked them having a base. It always gave them a solid ground, and a place to feel safe between missions. Plus they still had to drive to go places that were long distances away, so I still got that road trip vibe.
The dynamic between Jack and Sam in season 13 that just disappeared in the next two seasons, making Jack a very annoying character... It was great seeing the two interact, from Jack feeling like he had a darkness inside that he couldn't escape, to him becoming soulless... there was so much potential in that little character development between the two and it would have made season 14 tolerable...., but for some idiotic reason, they forcefully switched the dynamic to Cass and Dean, which didn't seem right!
So many inconsistencies in the latter seasons was very disappointing...to me the best seasons were 1-5
Robbing Sam of character development and story arc is what the show has been doing for 7 seasons. Yes Sam and Jack had a great dynamic, but they weren't even together for half the season cause the writers had Jack leave before their relationship could develop into anything further and once, he got back he bounded with Cas and Dean, Which I wasn't against, but it took time away from Sam & Jack. Plus, the whole Soulless Jack thing was just a Cas vs Dean thing, with Sam barley counting as a third wheel. But going back to what I was saying, the show had a bad habit of introducing plot's for Sam then just ending them, there were so many you can make your own top ten list. Oddly enough only one of them made this list, that being #10. But there are far more examples. Like how they were setting Sam up to be the one to kill Amara cause Dean was affected by their connection. Or how about the Leadership arc, they did that one twice, in season 12 & 14. In 12 it felt crammed in the BMOL arc with next to no build up, I wasn't against Sam becoming more of a leader, but it wasn't set up right. They did it again in season 14, the buildup for this happened in a short time skip, but I didn't mind because at least we were getting focus and development on Sam. That is until the writers abruptly and unceremoniously killed off everyone under his command, and their deaths weren't even a result of his leadership decisions. Lets not even get into SamWitch. I could go on but you get what I mean, I always hated how the writers started to give Sam cool story arcs then just leave them to dry. Keep in mind this is coming from a diehard Dean fan
I was watching Supernatural from the very beginning so for 15 years straight. I'll admit, I forgot all of these storylines, except for Sam and the demon blood one 🤣😶.
First! Favorite show!!!! They gave up on a lot randomly
The men of letters was a big one especially since they were set up to be powerful after they found out about Chuck and Amara Then they became irrelevant
What you call "forgetting about," some call "moving on." That term can be applied to a few of these storylines (Dragons; the Roadhouse).
But I do agree that the writers dropped the ball as far as the Antichrist storyline is concerned. Same thing with Jacob Pond's vow to avenge his mother's death. If the writers were bound and determined to give Dean a final death in the series finale, I feel that Jacob should have been the one to kill him.
1. I really don't care about "Bloodlines." I'm glad they didn't follow through with the spin-off.
2. I'm glad the Sam/Amelia storyline was dropped like a hot potato. It was horrible! Horrible relationship! Horrible storyline! Horrible female character! Horrible, horrible, horrible!
3. The "demon blood," storyline wasn't forgotten. It was concluded. Big difference.
4. Lucifer never loved Jack!
5. Azazel was clearly wrong when he suggested that Sam came back evil.
6. Who ever said that the Four Horsemen would be replaced?
And wasn’t it that the “leader” he was looking for was just the meat suit for Lucifer. And he only wanted one so was fine with them killing each other to find the most powerful.
Since they failed to give Bloodlines a show it should have gotten one episode or two to finish it up.
6. I believe that is an extension of the (The Horseman of) Death gets replaced. Since War, Pestilence, and Famine are as ever present in the World as Death, some people think something along the lines of "The next coward to die in a fight becomes the next War", "The next person to die from starvation becomes Famine", and "The next bad medical professional to kill a patient becomes Pestilence"... I personally think it is fine, especially cause who could replace Matt Frewer? Jeff Fahey?

It did bother me a lot that Sam and Dean felt so guilty in the beginning when they had to kill the humans possessed by demons but then after a while were just randomly stabbing them with no conscious whatsoever. Like, those Demons are possessing INNOCENT people, stop stabbing them so recklessly!!!
One word: leviathans. Never really saw them after season seven and while I accept Crowley's explanation for why that was in the season 7 finale, I'm surprised they never really showed up after that considering there cleverness and intellegence.
I think people really disliked the leviathan plot in season 7 so they just threw them back in purgatory never to be heard from again.

I am mostly upset at the fact that they literally stopped trying to save people, if you have the ability to exorcise demons, why not at least attempt it? I guess they were always in "too much danger" and the only choice was to kill the host. I think the issue became a problem when they gained access to the demon and angel blades, and just made killing the demons an easier choice.
I think after facing several higher level demons and winning, most of the demons were too scared to take them on alone. This would mean that when fighting demons, they were always outnumbered leaving no time to actually exorcize demons..
Alot of these were finished up/explained.... Azazel's Plan-Meg and others(even a Prince of Hell,Ramiel) explain that not all of them were believers in his plan but they were too scared to rebel while he was alive... Sam and Amelia-Once Sam chooses to stay with Dean instead of going back to the hotel with Amelia, that's that. They had agreed that whatever happens they will know the answer for sure, and she told him that if he leaves he should never come back.
I've always wondered what happened to Sam's powers.
Lucifer, while he may never have changed, was making an effort to try to change FOR Jack. I'm not saying he wouldn't have tried to betray them at some point, but arguably, it was made harder because everyone was against him from the get go, especially Sam, Castiel, and Gabriel. The incident that made sure Lucifer did go back to his evil ways was when Sam literally ditched him at the last minute in Apocalypses World with Alternate Michael. You can't redeem a character, narratively, if the ALL of the characters around them refuse to forgive, it just doesn't work when writing a story, but they didn't forget about it, they just let things play out to their logical conclusion - everyone involved was terrible and that's what makes it tragic that Lucifer never really had a chance at redemption - not even a thread of a chance.

technically the roadhouse never blew up but it burnt down and ellen and jo never did anything with the remains before they died and it was never mentioned again after that season so yah your right

Not sure if anyone in the comments has mentioned this one already but one i would have loved to see was when dean made the phone call to sam before raising Lucifer and what’s his name changed the wording of the phone call. They never really finished that storyline.

What was there to follow up on? Neither Sam or Dean ever knew that Zachariah changed the message, and I think they had WAY too much other stuff going on--like the Apocalypse--to deal with. Doesn't mean it didn't bother Sam, who might have thought about it a few times, but it wasn't a fight to bring up since he felt so guilty about accidentally setting Lucifer free.

But honestly it was not something that was needed just something I personally wished they had re introduced.

Guys to be fair they didnt exactly forget about sams demon blood abilities. Its mentioned a few times later. For example in season 8 when the boys find metatron sam is explaining to dean that the trials to close hell were purifying him. It gets mentioned again later in season 12 when sam and dean save the psychic girl who had the crazy family that like, locked her away. Ketch ends up killing her but in that episode sam tells her theyre the same that he has powers, visions etc. So correct they dont exactly fully explore it again but its not like they just totally forgot about it.
It wasn’t explicitly explained, but I always imagined that when Sam said he was being “purified” by the God trials, that permanently got rid of his demon blood powers.
Dragons went extinct, those few we saw came back to the real world because Eve needed their help, afterwards she might have killed them as she considered them too dangerous for all her other children and forged swords for humans to fight them.
Amelia was annoying as hell, it's good that they dropped her.
Sam's demon blood was burned away when he was undergoing trials to close the Gates of Hell. He says that he felt like he was being purified of the demon blood, and later writers confirmed that it was gone for good.
Azazel was just screwing with Dean.
The other three Horsemen? I'm sure there was no famine, war or any diseases running around the world through the remaining 10 years :eyeroll: They were busy.

Is normal that every show has plot holes but I am sooo happy that the adam plot hole got a ending. We even know that adam was not torture by Michael. But for me the fact that they kill the demon with the blade and sometimes the producers forgot that when and angel died every angel leave like a burned angel shadow sometimes they forgot that
After Sam kills the Hellhound in s8 its remarked how he could feel the trials burning away what Yellow Eyes had done to him, later Castiel remarks that Sam's entire subatomic structure was failing and beyond his ability to heal. The trials cleansed Sam entirely of Azazel's blood.
It's almost as if you never saw it by this list. The dragons come because of mother, the roadhouse wasn't safe which is why it burned down and killed ash. Sam's change of mind was effected by the crap he saw and experienced. The vampires didn't seek revenge because they didn't try to hunt them to death like the Brits. The demon blood powers needed a supply of blood to keep them going, so without drinking it he couldn't use them.
Sam was purified of his demon powers through the trials to seal hell. He no longer has demon blood in him, and is no longer a "Special Child."
1. Cas's powers fading in season 15 was just not explained at all
2. The most frightening storyline they established was "heaven will go out of power and all the billions of souls will be unleashed on earth" they just never brought it back.
3. The whole storyline of Cas being the only being in the universe with true freewill and they didn't even use that against Chuck.
There are way too many plotholes.

A lot of these actually were resolved with a few lines of dialog, or weren't really able to be continued and written to be done with. 🤷🏻♂️ Should they have continued or touched back on them a bit deeper? Yeah, some could have been great if they had. 👍🏻
The demon army was a ruse it’s true purpose was for Lucifer to find a perfect vessel for him nothing more nothing less these generals were nothing but glorified meat suits Sams demon powers were stunted once Lucifer was out of the picture. It makes sense that we didn’t see it ever again because the storyline ended seasons 1-5 we’re both the catalyst and the ending of that story arc for Sam
why is no one mentioning that one necromancer girl from season 13 or 14 (the one with the zombie boyfriend). dean & jack were working the case together but she escaped. at the end of the episode she is sitting in a diner writing a letter to jack that she wants to be with him but for that she has to kill him (like she did with her hs boyfriend). i thought she'd come back later for at least one more episode but she never did. she just got away and they never cared to track her down & she never came after jack like she wanted to

I’m not sure if this would be considered a story line but after episode 20 of season 11 they never discuss the amulet, and I don’t mean the glowing I mean in general like dean throws it away in season 5 and chuck hints that Sam had it all this time but it’s never brought up after like we don’t even have the brothers discuss it. I know the reason they gave rid of it was because Jensen would forget to switch to the rubber model for fighting but that could have been a heart warming scene even if dean never wore it again.

Another show predicts the future. In season 15 episode 9, Sam and Dean talk about how the monsters have won in their alternate future. The date says January 6, 2021.
I hate to say it, but I honestly forgot about most of these. Except the Bloodlines one because I don't know that I ever saw that episode.
I love when they walk into magical castles or find powerful artifacts like literally thor's hammer, or when they invade the excluded man of letters invisible castle that holds the biggest library and collection of magical items + knowledge and they just leave it there.
1. As unfortunate as it is, Sam realizes that killing the demons and their host is the only way to get rid of them. Otherwise they just keep coming back and killing people. Take a life now to save a hundred later.
2. Vampires are scared, without a leader they scatter and hide. It makes sense that they never came back for revenge.
3. Not many dragons actually made it to earth from purgatory. That’s why we only see them once.
4. The roadhouse was burned down and everyone who worked there was killed. Ash, Ellen, and Jo are all gone. Why would it be brought back?
5. It’s explained that Jesse’s powers are basically dormant when the apocalypse isn’t on the rise. So he probably lived a normal life in Australia.
6. The show didn’t go on long enough to see the kid get old enough to come for revenge. It’s also possible that he eventually got over this trauma and decided it wasn’t worth taking a human life. Or the kid could’ve started killing and got knocked off by another hunter.
7. It wasn’t a forgotten plot line. It didn’t take off so they got rid of it. Those characters were only made to set up the show. But since the show didn’t take off, the characters faded into the background.
8. Amelia stayed with her military husband who ended up not being dead. Sam chose to hunt with his brother instead of stay with her. That’s not a forgotten plot line either, it’s wrapped up.
9. The powers go dormant after Azazel dies. This plot line wasn’t forgotten either, he just gets over his addiction. That was the whole point of that plot line. Sam deciding that the power wasn’t worth what it was doing to him.
10. The amazons were monsters. Sam did what he had to do. Dean tried to save his daughter but she was still going to kill him. It sucks, but it’s the gritty world of hunting.
11. Lucifer is a liar.. that’s his whole character. He constantly says he’s changed, or he’s gotten better. But ultimately he’s the same self centered narcissist. The embodiment of evil.
12. This was never a plot line, it was demons doing what demons do. Lying and trying to throw the hunters off their game by toying with them.
13. The demon Brady tells us that taking the rings off the horsemen caused them to be basically broken. Shriveled husks, for all intensive purposes the horsemen were killed. Death however seems to be more powerful than his brothers. He even claims to be as old as god. So he is willingly able to part with his ring without the ill effects suffered by his brothers.
14. Azazel is described as a fanatic. Lucifer was using the demon army promises to manipulate Azazel into freeing him. He later learn that Lucifer doesn’t even like demons. He uses them when he needs them, but otherwise he hates them. Had Azazel survived he likely would’ve helped lead a demon army to fight. But he wasn’t, and lucifer was never truly interested in this plan.
This whole list seems to have been compiled by people who have never actually see the whole of Supernatural, and how cause and affect works in this show. A lot of these storylines were, indeed, followed up on. Not all of them, like the Anti-Christ, for example, but most of these storylines did reach a conclusion, and I'm sure those of us who have watched Supernature start to finish are aware of that. I mean, the whole thing about Sam wanting to save people, but yet he and Dean kill those possessed by demons thing is not failed plot point - more and more demons were filling into the Earth after Yellow Eyes opened the Gates of Hell - at a certain point it just became more practical to kill the demons and their hosts to avoid getting out numbered in the time putting together a proper exorcism would take. It was one thing to do an exorcism when demons were a rare and uncommon thing, but when they started becoming a literal household pest, this became war, and sacrifices had to be made.
So glad the show finally forgot (more like wrote her out) about Amelia…
The demon blood storyline is not forgotten that is just plain wrong. It's mentioned plenty of times later on in the show and is a constant mistake Sam refers to when looking back at his life. Everything dealing with the demon blood storyline is exactly why he never uses the power again or relies on it. It also turned Sam into someone he wasn't..did everyone watch the same show??

The part about Eve, the mother of monsters then Adam in Season 15. What happened. Are they not partners? That really puzzled me.
I'm not religious at all, and for the most part I love the view I call "The World According to Kripke" (even after he'd kinda turned it over to Sara Gamble) but, depending on your religion, technically Adam and Lilith were also "partners" before Eve, even if it was a tumultuous relationship. And the fact that Eve was vilified into "Monster Mom" was actually annoying, but I guess they needed a name, and that was as good as any.

The other big plot hole was the portal jack opened to hell that had even worse demons in it than hell did. I still wanted to see more of that. It reminded me of the Uber vamp from buff. Lol
7 of these are clearly explained, Ms Mojo clearly hasn't watched the show...1. During Sam's trials to shut the gates of hell, they purified him of his lust for demon blood, so this was addressed. 2. The Sam/Amelia story arc had a definitive conclusion, Sam chose to reunite with Dean, so what more is there to explore? 3. By season 12, it's quite clear that most monsters/demons are actually scared of the Winchesters, and with the Alpha vampire dead, it does make sense that the remaining vampires wouldn't go after the Winchesters as they're already scared + their alpha is dead. 4. The Roadhouse is mentioned against in Season 15. I know that's a big gap, but Jo, Ash, and Ellen are all dead, and the roadhouse is never re-built, so how is that forgotten? 5. Lucifer is Lucifer, it's made clear numerous times throughout the series by characters such as God & Gabriel that he is incapable of change. So again, it makes sense he never changed for Jack. 6. Dean's daughter's storyline had a definitive conclusion with her death, so what more is there to explore? 7. Azazel's plan was pretty clear, he was unifying the underworld and at the same time, manipulating Sam to 'lead' that army in the sense of him being Lucifer's vessel, so in a sense, once Lucifer takes Sam over, he will lead the demon army.
The Bloodlines characters could've been used in season 15, since most characters came back in some way.
It's almost obvious that bloodlines never came back because they wouldn't want people going "Hey, what about that spin-off series?"

To be fair demons are notoriously difficult to kill much less exercise. Bloodlines got cancelled because monsters being in charge of Chicago was to realistic, hey oooooh!

Sam's demon blood powers - Azazel's blood gave him the powers initially, but it's wrong to say that other demons' blood after that made his abilities stronger. Ruby suggested in the Season 4 finale that it was just a lie she fed him. "You didn't need the feather to fly, you had it in you the whole time, Dumbo." Sam also likely didn't want to use his powers following Season 5 because of his Lucifer trauma. Lucifer tortured his soul in the Cage for a year and a half which, as we saw through the end of Season 6 and most of Season 7, caused him a lot of issues (to put it mildly). It's understandable he wouldn't want to be associated with anything to do with Lucifer, including his abilities (Azazel was working on Lucifer's orders)

Key fact about this series that has been lost by many, even those that watched the series, it was supposed to end after 5 seasons. All stories were meant as experiences for the two main characters to lead to that one moment where Sam being possessed by Lucifer goes into The Cage in Hell to save his brother Dean. That was Eric Kripke's original vision. The top execs managed to convince Eric to keep the show going which is why all later stories were basically disconnected from the previous stories save for the experiences imparted on the brothers. Here's proof to that fact: There was a line said by the Reaper Billie that after Dean had killed Death, there was a new boss of the Reapers that wanted to make sure if the Winchesters died again that they would never come back to life even if God wanted it to happen and all the other Reapers were ordered as such. But later on it was revealed by Billie that the next Reaper killed after the Death himself is dead, they would be the new Death and since Billie was killed while she was a Reaper and became Death, that shows proof of the improvisation being done outside the original scope of the story. Ultimately this list has no real foundation because it ignores this key fact: Eric Kripke only wanted 5 seasons in the beginning.
This is true, suffice it to say that while the first 5 seasons were brilliant, it's what came after season 5 that really made this show great..
Actually Sam's Demon blood storyline ended at the finale of season eight when he purified his blood so he no longer had any Demon blood in his system could no longer consume it so they suddenly they finished it without actually explaining it so they could've explained it better but yeah that's why
I haven't forgotten all cause I am able to remember things on tv really well. I was hoping for Jesse to return and b a powerful ally as a teenager who could purify demons with just a sentence. It's really a shame for the 2 failed spinoffs, Bloodline and Wayward Sisters, as they both would've been fun to watch. What Azazel said in s2 ending wasn't really Sam, I think he was just pissed having been murdered, who wouldn't b. I used to fan theorized that angel blood will give Sam his old powers back, without any addiction to it, and grow stronger when using them for good alone and each time he wins, even if he hasn't used them. Plus every human being has dormant psychic powers within them and angel or demon blood r 2 ways to activate.
Yeah even the actor who played Jesse was shocked that the producers never contacted him to return in the final season

Maybe a bit off topic but kinda still relates, they missed so many creatures throughout the series, they mentions monsters like chupacabra but never hunted one. like they had so many repeats on vampires which were a bit boring but somehow manage to mention chupacabras but never atcually hunted one, like how can you leave out such a famous monster and constantly repeat wolves and vampires, I didn’t mind the demon repeats because they’re a big part of the series and pretty cool, but vamps and wolves are old and they missed the chance to show off so many other cool monsters
I was pretty disappointed with how they ended jack and Lucifer's story in s13. Throughout the season we see Lucifer's hurt, pain, anger n fear. We see a hint of his redemption. Hell he admitted to jo that he felt like an outcast long before he was cast down n he jst wanted his father's approval. He admitted he wanted a relationship with jack, u could see the pain in his eyes n voice when he got rejected by him n to top it all he fucking cried! So much room for development n they killed him off because they wanted a villian! Jst imagine hw beautiful it would hv been if they had actually redeemed the devil (well then give him a heroic death as that would hv been the only way to reedem him completely)
don't forget they also forgot about adam their half brother after he fell into lucifer's cage with Michael for several seasons until he came back for a few episodes in the last season
