As an American, I am totally fascinated with the modern toilets and the bidet, which are almost non-existent here. South Park had a funny episode on these this year. I'd love to have an episode on them on your channel and how they're used. Although I suppose showing them in use may violate community standards. :) Keep up the great videos.
Haha! I'm with you, Robert. America is behind the times when it comes to such things. I have to replace a toilet in my home and I'm looking for a Japanese toilet that will work in the space. I'm embarking on a bathroom adventure. 🤣
The closest I've managed is a BioBidet BB-2000. It at least comes with a long enough cord to account for that US toilets don't often come with electrical outlets underneath the tank. (That is On The List for the bathroom remodel someday, though.)
Wow wow! Thank you both for giving the definition of ‘Henn na,’ because when I was growing up, it was always just the word strange. Never was it ever defined as evolution. Henn na hotel is definitely something I would love to try someday. Not sure about talking to a dinosaur though. 😂 I can’t help but wonder, what if there’s an emergency? Such as the sink backing up? Is there an attendant hidden somewhere? Your Nagasaki champon and Irodori champon dishes looked delicious. Brother Shinichi, as soon as I saw yours, I thought shungiku at first, then you said it was kale. Your kale is so much prettier than ours. What a fun overnight stay! Loved the beer machine and the little combini. Thank you for taking us with you!
The biggest surprise for me was how the beer glass filled so unexpectedly! Thanks for taking us along!
And this is why I hope Japan keeps doing its own thing.
Thank you very much for sharing your experience. I’m very jealous of you both😎. Not just for staying at the robot hotel, but your dinner look amazing.
I completely agree with seeing the park during tulip season! So beautiful! Love your videos!
丁寧な話し方で礼儀正しくお辞儀する恐竜がかわいい!
The name of the hotel was just too cute! I'm sorry you had so much trouble finding tea, Shinichi, but glad you finally got some for breakfast. Thanks for taking us along for the fun!
Wow just Wow. Loved the video. Watching the beer fill the glass was…..awesome.
That was a fun and informative video from beginning to end! You two have the knack for making everywhere you go _very_ appealing. Now I want to stay at the Henn na Hotel!😉 Love to you both. 💙💜
I think it's quite kool to be serve by a robot. It's unique and Japan proud to share this amazing hotel with the world . This would be an experience of a life time.
Guys, thanks for the room tour! I think sooner or later, most hotels are headed to a self check in process. Most airlines now offer self check-in for flights including self baggage check in for domestic flights. You do everything at the check in portals in the terminal. Take care everybody!
Very cool hotel! Great job on the video. Also 17:00 Nagasaki champon and castella! I did a study abroad in Nagasaki City and remember those two foods fondly. 😁
A dinosaur that checks you in at your hotel, sign me up! I liked the mix of modern with some traditional features of the room. I really enjoyed this video guys, thank you for sharing this. Best wishes to you both
That's awesome! I'd love to try it. I know that some people would say that the robots are taking the jobs of people, but as an introvert, I think it's brilliant because it makes you see less people.
Wow such a cool video! We will probably stay at that hotel. I think Photoluke and his family stayed at the one near Disney. Can’t wait to see the park videos with the tulips! We might want to wait until tulip season.
12:56 It's like a Red Stripe commercial. Hooray Beer!
Wow, this is lovely
11:35 Sorry what is Satoshi going to drink? A beer?😅🤣😅
That’s an interesting concept for a hotel. Curious to see how larger brands may adopt robotics.
At first I thought this was another vid in Europe guys!!!😂✌🏻
Quite amazing the face recognition as a key!!!😮
This was so interesting! Looks like a fun and comfy place to stay.
The unmanned bar and store are very cool. The check-in robots were cute. The name just gets me.😆
My favourite was the dinosaur! Also I always love those beer dispensers haha
I love you both so much and every week for the last thousand years🤗 I follow and watch all your channels Please both know I love all you do and Thank You❤🧡💛💚💙💜
Going to this hotel in September. Looking forward. Thanks for the information!
How is that beer poured into the glass? That was fascinating. Thank you for taking us with you.Couldn't you ask the hotel staff for more tea? Luv robot hotel and all the self service features.
Just like injecting air into a basketball. This version must be Japaneses but it obviously just inject the liquid from a hole in the bottom. American invention version, you just put the glass down and uses a trap door like bottom of the glass and pushed beer up into the glass and the bottom closes from the weight of the liquid and a magnet. Not sure which one is better? The American version would seem to dispense faster.
I LOVE castella cake! Matcha castella is my favorite.
Thank you for the amazing video!
I love your videos. Very relaxing and never have to worry about bad words or politics or controversy. Thank you.
Awesome hotel room is nice thanks for sharing can't wait to see the next one take 😘😘❤🌈💯👍😍🤩🥰
Hi Satoshi and Shinichi, i LOVE your videos!
🌷 Such a fun vdo….. you guys are so happy and excited making us feel likewise. Thank you for your lovely and informative presentation 👍🏼🌷.
I love the videos! I’d stay at that hotel as it would suit my budget & I could visit the theme park. We have a big tulip festival here in Washington state; perhaps you might come here soon! It’s the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival & is held in April. It’s about an hour north of Seattle.
great video, liked it very much
Right out of the Doctor Who Universe! Luckily witout the Daleks.
The robot is cool and scary at the same time 😮crazy thing soon this will happen everywhere.
The American Version of that Beer Dispenser is better. Invented for fast Dispensing. You just set the glass down and it actually fills from the bottom because the bottom is a magnetic false bottom after the beer is in the glass the trap door bottom closes water tight.
Question: Can you switch the language?
Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful video with us.
Id be too terrified of the robots to stay. I get Matrix vibes
I wish they had those vending machines here in the US. I think they would be a hit here.
It certainly looks like an interesting experience, I wonder what their power backup setup is like, and how often they upgrade the robots.
Japanese champon look totally different from korean champong. Korean champong is a spicy broth noodle dish with sorted seafood.
england is ten ten years behind you with these gadgets you have
Loved this ty
i'm always kinda sad when i see tippsy >.< i wanna try those sake so bad but last i checked they didn't ship to europe 😭
Love you guys ❤
Awesome 🎉
Great video
That's shocking and wild
Hi How do you pay in the unmanned convenience store? Will they take cash Thank You
Oh wow!
Satoshi and Sinichi I love your channel! One day I wish to travel to Japan to have some adventures and eat delicious Japanese food. Arigato.
That's so cool
so cool! 😃
Good afternoon. What happen of the hotel use both your face at the entrance of hotel? Do you mind??? But copyright 😅
this looks fun, one queston do japan accept credit card or visa for us outside of japan
Yes, but a typical card will likely have a foreign transaction fee (take a look at your terms and conditions, they can be found online). There are cards with both no foreign transaction fee and no annual fee, yet still include a rewards program (maybe not as good as normal rewards, but better than nothing!). BTW, don't get cash from an ATM using a credit card, as that's considered a cash advance and interest starts immediately. So, also consider opening a bank account with a debit card that has no foreign ATM or foreign transaction fees. There are some like Charles Schwab that will even rebate ATM fees. If you get travel cards you can keep those on you and still bring your normal cards (in a different location) as an emergency backup.
Mmmmmm matcha latte is so yummy ❤
I believe, vet vert will be, lots of pros and cons, when it comes to giving America, a robotic hotel. Something's in Japan, doesn't work for America and some things are very debatable.
That looks like alot of fun the only question I have as I'm from the US is aren't they afraid of the robots being damaged or products being stolen? Also, Shinichi I love your ring. 💙💙💙
Yeah things like that incredibly don’t happen here. And thanks for the comment on the ring!
Fun
Aloha 🌺🥰
❤
how long will it take for people to srtart destroying the robots so they can live there indefinately?
The rise of the machines.
Kinda creepy! 😮
🙋♀️
that would be a strong NO for me .. hate machines you can not reason with a machine egads no give me a human any day
❤❤❤🇯🇵JAPAN🇯🇵❤❤❤
That was very cool!
The child in me "c'mon robot dinosaur!" The beer dispenser from the bottom was different but also really cool. Seeing and hearing the bottom mechanism light up and click. ❤
