Hey man i just got this gun in the wood version. Can you please tell me the necessary parts i need to upgrade so they dont break? i have the 500 fps nozzle upgrade and plan on installing the trigger set, steel tappet, steel bolt catch/release. part 49 43 and thats it. anything else i need?
Hey, replacing all parts to steel(Ra-tech) as much as possible is obviously the best. For me, I felt these are necessary and upgraded to steel parts : Trigger box set, tappet, bolt catch, nozzle guide, bolt carrier, bolt top cover, receiver, firing pin, valve locker (last two are from New-Age). But even you change ALL parts with steel, WE M14’s notorious design and manufacturing will keep cause minor issues. So considering core necessity, I think the list you told me is good enough to go now. You can upgrade rest of parts when you need to in the future.

Screw out the flash hider, and put it to boiling water. After few minutes you’ll be able to get rid of the orange part. That freaking glue needs to be heated.

라텍 lv3 로 해도, 자잘한 스틸파츠들을 몇번씩 교체했습니다. 사격을 마구마구 마음 놓고 할만한 모델은 아닌데 그냥 총 자체로 너무 멋지고 대체재가 없어서 계륵같은 놈 입니다. 한국에서 사용하시면 분배와 칼파 말고는 먼저 따로 신경쓸 것은 없지만 저는 가장 좋아하면서도 여기저기 힘들었던 총입니다. M14 팬이시라면 어쨌든 거치셔야하는 길입니다 ㅋㅋ

i just bought this but i have no idea how to remove the orange tip, i dont notice any pins so im guessing its glue

Indeed. I prefer the classic wood mk.14 as well, but this neo-classic ish EBR has its own masculine taste which makes me to feel quite ambivalent.
