    Kumihimo starter kit:
If you are a beginner in kumihimo, I have a starter kit available. It is a great way to get started as it has everything you need to make several pieces and get you going on your kumihimo journey.

THANK YOU very much for showing how to start a flat braid with a braided loop. I have not had a lot of success using other methods, but this is exactly what I was looking for. Your videos are THE BEST for learning Kumihimo!

Thank you for this great tutorial! Your fantastic, detailed instructions makes it so nice to follow along. My 12 year old granddaughter is going to love making this with me. She gets frustrated with some of the tutorials because they don’t explain well but she loves, loves your tutorials. ❤

Gorgeous. I will try it but I'm super new to kumihimo. I just bought one of your starter kits. It's really awesome. I'm loving it.

I ordered shank buttons but they were too small. They were so pretty I wanted to use them so I used them as you used the beads. It worked very well. I wish I could show you a picture.

I am pretty new at this and decided to give it a try. With the way you show and explain how you do things are fantastic!! I have watched many tutorials on kumihimo style bracelets but they are so fast and I get lost. I wish I could show you the picture of the first one I made from this tutorial. Many thanks for showing and sharing your work. I have made many styles from your channel and I hope to get as good as you are.

Absolutely brilliant the way you use both the round disk and square plate. Also the way you did the button and loop closure!! Will share!!

Thankyou for showing the button and loop finishing for the bracelet as I from the older generation find it hard to open the metal clasp and hook it through the jump ring part of the other side of the clasp. x

I've tried this but haven't been able to thread the beads, even with scorching and rolling the ends as you suggested. I used the same beads as the link you posted from Amazon uk, but it says they have a 1mm drilled hole so I was wondering how you can pass two cords of 1mm each through the hole?... the other just won't go through no matter how I try. Please help! Do I need to buy beads with a 2mm drilled hole?

What a beautiful bracelet. I am going to order the beads to do this. Can I ask... rather than a button closure could you just keep it as a flat braid and use a flat crimp end closure?

I didn't have much luck with hair grips. I used a bread tie instead. Much tighter hold with a bread tie.

I was wondering if you have any ideas on how to make a Breast cancer awareness ribbon bracelet made with the square kumihimo plate? I have seen the ones that you do macrame style, but that takes so much time to do.
