I found the play along backing song as-is, and have used it as I found it.
This video was recorded at home for private learning and educational purposes. I am learning to drum, and use these videos to get feedback on my errors from friends and family.

I am drumming the drum track with the backing song found as-is played back on a tablet
...acoustic drums + backing song from the tablet - mixed on a Yamaha analogue mixer desk, monitored on a pair of Beyerdynamic headphones, and then recorded from the mixer by a Sony HD-MVR1 camera - the fish-eye lens kind of 'flattens' the HD video across 120-degrees --
that's why everything looks fatter and wider - it can record sound direct from a mixer, and encodes sound as a linear PCM waveform with decent built-in level control - really, the HD-video is just a bonus - so I don't mind the fish-bowl effect or the video being a bit out of focus.
...drummed on ye trusty Mapex Saturn V kit and a Sonor AQ2 snare, with Vater's 5B sticks by a local nut-case from There That Must Not Be Named - put it all together, and you get a drum cover of...
Angus & Julia Stone - Big Jet Plane
Five awesome years -- we were stuck on two continents during those COVID/Wuhan Virus days for about two and a half of these years 😢 but we made thus far 🤩 ...it's been an amazing journey, girl.
This song won Australia's Song of The Year in 2011 -- by the brilliant Sydney sibling duo of Julia Stone and her younger brother Angus Stone. It's also a favourite with some of my people in Oz. Thanks to all the original band members for the original recording -- I'm not sure who drummed for the Stones, although I know that the brilliant Mitchell "Mitch" Connelly from Beautiful Girls has drummed for them.
As for my humble set up --
Recording: the signal from the Yamaha analogue desk is sent to a Sony HD-MVR camera - the 120° lens (wide angle) makes everything look bloated and is out of focus - but captures almost all the equipment plus, I don't have to do any DAW sound processing.
Gear and no-processing:
...acoustic Maple-Walnut hybrid shell drums mixed/equalized on a Yamaha MG20XU mixer desk with 7 Shure drum mics (no FX used); backing song on a tablet - monitored from the Yamaha on a pair of Beyerdynamics headphones. Secondary level checks with a pair of AKGs.
Drums, cymbals and sticks:
...ye trusty ol'Mapex Saturn V shell kit, Mapex factory Remo heads + Sonor AQ2 14" x 6" maple snare Evan's G1 head + Saluda cymbals and a Wuhan china with Vater’s 5B sticks.
