Congratulations, you both did it! Way to go! It was certainly pretty, especially the lake. How long was the trail? It was good to see the fallen tree left where it fell - as in most national parks around the world. In a New Zealand forest saw a sign that read: "Take nothing but your memories. Leave nothing but your footprints." The other thing i really liked was how you help each other over the rough or slushy patches, caring for each other. Life too is a trail!😊
Thank you so much for all the nice encouraging words and compliments! The trail was 2-3 km long and an absolute delight! We really like to follow the NZ forest sign in all our travels!
