I remember playing PES way back in the early 00s and finding this absolute gem of a player. Speed, dribbling, long shots and FK accuracy. I would often tune in to watch Inter games hoping to watch him play, but he never did. I couldn’t figure out how this god-like player wasn’t getting game time until I looked at his injury record years later. Could have been a potential legend had it not been for his bad luck. Still loved him in PES and scored many great FKs with him.
He was an unfinished diamonds... His Talent covered with his consistency and determination(Even he was to lazy learn English and Italian language). It’s was shame. But just with his unfulfilled potential he catch the attention alot of people. You can Imagine his talent with full determination...maybe he will one spot with Maradona, in football History hall of fame.
This was Inter's supersub. Just like Solskjaer at MU, but with Becks (free kicks, corners, long shots, passes) and Giggs (dribble, speed) skills. Inter needed Ronaldo to boost the team's moral, but Inter needed Recoba to boost Inter's goals.
If the world that time already like today, nobody will surprise with what Recoba did. He was South American Wonderkid that time. He already scored many goals with Danubio and Nacional.
josh cougar he was very undisciplined. He would be late or completely miss training. That’s why Inter loaned him out to Venezia at the time, to teach him a lesson. He developed a bit more on his second stint at Inter but he returned to his old ways and that crippled the rest of his career.
