This is crazy! i have been looking and wondering for months and months what to do! here is tens of thousands of dollars here in the states! all the calls to dentist here they just want to herd you in and out like cattle and cant deal with that stress to be treated that way! and someone i could trust to do basically the same so glad you made this video beyond happy! and have recommend them it so hard to find someone that good ! I am going to contact them and see what they can do for me ,100 percent thanks!
I just got back from Algodones s well. Was a bit nervous just as you were. I could not have been happier and more satisfied with the service and the people.
Cody, this is one of the most down to earth, perfect, personal videos you have made. What a great video! It is 'real'.. no acting, no fake.. Back to the basics where you came from pal! Teeth look amazing!! Your happiness damn near made one roll down my face! :)- Congratulations on a new sense of pride and self esteem!
Man I needed this video, growing up Amish and not being taught dental hygiene and now at 26 y/o reaping the consequences and I haven’t smiled in years. I need to do this
Go as soon as you can! I’m 42 now most of my teeth are getting removed. A root canal and a crown hurt a lot less than the pain I went through from childhood into my soon to be middle age.
My brother at the age of 54 just spent 32 days in the intensive care unit, on a ventilator for 8 days, 3 surgeries on his neck to drain infection all because an abscess lower molar tooth. It almost killed him. I cannot stress the fact enough to go to the dentist and take care of your teeth.
@ yes. My brothers infection was in his neck. His surgeon told me that 2 yrs ago he had a 38yr old with same problem in there and the infection went into his shoulders and chest, he had multiple surgeries and was there 4 months. Not to mention he was on a ventilator for most of that time which causes other problems. Bad teeth can kill you no doubt.
nowadays with the waterpicks they have at the dentists, it's a way better experience even just for a basic cleaning than what i remember 20+ years ago and everything was scrape scrape scrape. cleaning once or twice a year is a low stress, no-brainer now; for me anyways.
I am an ER doctor and the infections you get from teeth are nasty. Treat them sooner rather than later. The neck is a small space with lots of important stuff, not the place you want an infection/abscess!!
Me as a Mexican was SHOCKED to see the poor dental health of Canadian people, it's very common to see old folks without teeth. I also noticed how the dentist in Canada took 3 different appointments to get a cleaning, a check-up and cavity removal, whereas in Mexico it would've been done all in one sitting. Maybe it's better for them to charge the insurance company more times who knows
@ScottTheTrucker80 To be honest. I'm considering going down there to get some medical work done. I know you can get top care private hospitals for relatively cheap.
Nailed it. As an eastern european i feel the same. My parents go to eastern europe to get dental work done. Even though we have insurance. In canada they still make you bite on those hard plastic mouth pieces to do xray. In Europe it's all 3d robot xray.. non invasive... Canada still in the 60s
@@benjamin4321 Go for it, there's tons of medical tourism in my hometown Tijuana. Half of San Diego's population lives down there because they can't afford to live in San Diego anymore, which is sad if you ask me.
This is one of the reasons i have been following this channel for about a decade now. This type of content. Personal and honest. Congrats on your "new" teeth Cody. Now I'm going to watch the skid steer video, which I also like.
To me, this is the best video that you have done. I have been putting off these same fears about Mexico's dentistry. This gives me more confidence because I'm looking into implants.
A friend went to Costa Rico for implants. Had a great experience. The only problem is once you get back, if you have any concerns, no one will touch you here in the US. You gotta get back on a plane and go back there.
I am in the final stretch with my implants and I've been able to get some great discounts here in the States. Ask about using a less optimal final material, for me going with pmdd instead of zirconia saved me 8k per arch (top or bottom).
Just keep in mind that if you Don't smoke, Don't vape, Don't drink anything acidic like soda or wine, Don't eat anything acidic like most fruits or anything with vinegar, you MIGHT get 20 years out of your implants. My plan at 30 was to have dentures till I am about 55, then get implants and ride them out till 80 and die.
My wife retired as a dental assistant.....she's got horror stories of people who delayed getting dental work done....pain, cost and sorrow. I'm glad you got everything taken care off and you have your smile back.
Hey, a follower here from Tijuana Mexico, a city well known for the medical tourism too, glad to hear you had a great experience in my country, we have excellent professionals. I hope you come back again to Mexico for better reasons!
All my friends have traveled to Mexico for ibogaine therapy. For substance abuse and PTSD from war. There's actually some ex special operations guys that have opened their own business now partnered with the local Mexicans. Many people like Shawn Ryan, seal team six operator Dj Shipley jr. And hundreds more. I'm actually considering doing it myself from all my combat tours and I was hit by a huge IED lost my eye and 37 wounds so I've struggled with pain med addiction back and forth. So I'm going soon .
@michaelchris1961 Americans have never had a problem with good honest hard working people that only want to support their families and make a better life for themselves and their families. But you can't do that by opening up and letting over ten million people in that you honestly know nothing about. Especially when in some of these countries you can't get good information on these people's past criminal records. Americans have the right to be able to say we want the best people, not just anyone. I don't mean the smartest or most educated. I just mean the best people morally and family oriented that are willing to adapt themselves to American values. Because they should want to learn English and be a part of the community. We love anyone who is honest and hard working. But how they just let anyone in, just ended up hurting the good people. Because so many came in and started stealing, commiting assaults , robbery, rape, gang crimes, and other illegal behavior. Anyone that commits crimes after we were kind enough to let them in, then they should be deported right away. When they did it this way it let in so many people that didn't deserve to be in our country. I truly hate that good people will be caught up on this because of the criminals. But every country had laws and if i sneak into Mexico, Columbia or any country and i get caught then they deport me immediately and they have the right too. So when we do the same thing then it shouldn't be talked about like we are just horrible people. We want better background checks, and I think if you come here you should have to show your working a normal job and following the rules and if you do that for say 4 years then you should get citizenship if you've broken no laws being felonies. You've held a job, you've reported in to court and immigration following the procedures. But because they just let anyone in, it's hurt the good people too. But every country has immigration laws, and we aren't doing anything different than any South American or any country period.
I went to Tijuana to have my dental work done. They removed a root canal tooth and replaced all my mercury fillings. They're located in the Hotel Grande. You can do other medical procedures there as well and if you need to stay overnight they give you a great discount. They did excellent work on me.
Great to meet you in the PHX airport on your way home as my wife and I were also returning home from Mexico! Thanks for sharing your story! Commented to her on your smile and how genuine you are in person. Love your channel and keep up the good work on the homestead! Appreciate seeing sweet loaf grow and shine. God Bless you and your family!
Man I have got to do this. Thank you so much for sharing. When you said you looked at your teeth once they were fixed and it was kind of emotional, made me cry. I remember the day I quit smiling. Was stressed from my parents getting divorced and was grinding my teeth at night and broke a bunch. This video gives me hope. Thanks
I've been there to a Canadian-owed dental office in Mazatlan, Mexico, in 2010. Prices have gone up since then. If I were to go again, I'd take the advice of the locals, Mexicans. Find a regular Mexican dentist they cost a lot less than dentists catering to foreigners. When booking a hotel online only stay for a few nights long enough to find a better and cheaper motel for about half price. In my case it was $40 per night and later found ones for $25 and were all lined up along an ocean view beachfront.
I live 45 minutes from the devastated area of North Carolina where you came from so far way to help, and we can not thank you enough. I have watched your channel for some time now. I'm 35, I've learned a few things, but fortunately, I have a good father who has and continues to teach me most of the same things you give tips on. I can tell you have a great heart for your fellow man. I've always appreciated your insights. We Tennesseeans align a lot with your values, and we'll take the east coast mittens jab, haha. We'll have you here whenever you want a reprive from the snow. I, too, have an irrational fear of the dentist and have been recently faced with some possible major dental work needs. Your honesty and transparency of how you are still a hard working man taking care of his family and not just some entitled youtuber means more than you know to many of us who try to just deal with things to make sure our large family is taken care of. Thank you again for all you do.
My teeth have gotten really bad and in the process of starting extractions and dentures. I’ve been embarrassed of my mouth since I was a child. Cody, your story gives me hope.
I’ve been seriously praying for answers on my dental work, I’m 24 and have the same adversity to dentists that you do, cavities, crooked teeth, the works. No insurance. I didn’t expect to get the answers I need for dental work from this channel😂 thanks for your story, I think I’m going to pull the trigger and get it done.
I needed to hear this, my teeth are falling apart. Thank you for sharing this. Because about the only way I can get close to begin to afford any work is going to Mexico. ❤
I was also a subject of very early on dentistry and many cavities and root canals, I also became terrified and ashamed of going. Now I have lost my front 2 teeth and about to loose my bottoms, I feel absolutely like an outcast and a bum. The cost makes me feel hopeless. I have prayed about it, and am going to see a dentist for the first time in over a decade. I know it will not be good but every good ending has to start with a rough beginning. I owe it to my children to make sure I am healthy. Love your transparency and your faith.
Be sure to tell them how anxious you are! A good dentist will talk you through everything before they do it. I have awful teeth and I'm finally a year into getting implants and for the first time I'm not afraid to go to the dentist. You can do this
Cody, I'm glad for your positive experience and transformation... At 66 years old, with a similar before experience, I just had 6 broken teeth surgically removed... I still need to see a general dentist to see what my options are for other teeth that aren't as critical.. Continued success to you...
I've been to Los Algodones aka Dental City many times. I've learned there's 2 types of dental clinics. The mom and pop clinic where the owner is actually the dentist doing the procedure. Then there's the businessman who sets up a clinic and hires dentists. Many of them young, fresh out of school. These clinics have a high turnover, you will see different faces when you return. They specialize in internet marketing and usually spare no expense on the building and furniture. They are usually considerably more expensive than the mom and pop shop. It appears to be that you were brought in by the corporate clinic and wound up in a mom and pop clinic. Good for you. And yes, Javier gets a commission for bringing in customers... and there's nothing wrong with that.
🎉I think a lot of people struggle with seeing the Dentist both for fear and cost. I know in the past I neglected my teeth and it felt amazing to get back on track. What an amazing and informative video and on a personal note, I am very happy and proud of your accomplisment and confronting your fear. Congratulations and God Bless; as alway great content! Beautiful Smile
I feel your pain! I have had a similar horrible experience (long and torturous as a youth) with the family dentist growing up in a small town, and I never wanted to go back. I am now married to a dental surgeon who practiced her career in mexico, and Peru, and is so very talented as well. Congratulations on the new old you!
This video has made me confident to try a dentist again. I have bad teeth and have put it off for years do to bad experiences. I’m really happy for you and no how awful bad teeth are!
TERRIFIED like you about the emotional damage a dentist did to me as a child, Scared to DEATH of the dentist. Very inspirational story you have, maybe it will put me one step closer to having the same thing done, God bless you
Same here. Abscessed, infected molar. Had a crown on it for 15 years. No pain or problems until 4 months ago. Sudden pain; pressure and hot/cols sensitivity. Hadn't visited a dentist in four years. Digital pics showed massive infection from tooth way up into sinus. Jaw bone deterioration. Option for root canal or extraction. Chose extraction. Don't want to go back if that root canal fails 3 months later. Crown had to be popped off and tooth had to be cut into multiple pieces for extraction. Antibiotics for 8 weeks. Had to wait 2 months to see if sinus healed. If not, add sinus surgery to the list. All is good 3 months later, just have to let the bone loss regenerate for a while.. Don't wait if you have pain. The infection can be catastrophic.
Great post and yes, it will help others. It is good to hear you got everything resolved in the way you wanted. Worth every penny. Your honesty about fear of the dentist is something a lot of people will relate to. Dental health is key to your overall health.
Thank you for being so candid about your personal story with your teeth. I can absolutely relate to what you have experienced not having dental insurance and having fear and anxiety about the dentist. This was a very helpful video. I've been watching your videos for 12 years, and to think you became UA-cam famous with your teeth condition while we audience had no idea. You are resilient. God bless you and your family!
The least impressive part of this video is about the dental work (although that part is VERY impressive!) but the best part is is the authenticity and vulnerability of your sharing. I don't mean for this to be too critical but you can come across at times as being arrogant but this is one of the most down to earth and relatable videos I may have ever seen you make. Appreciate you sharing your experience and this content.
I wouldn't call it arrogance. I would call it confidence, because as children of God, we can be bold in certain things. The scripture tells us that we can come boldly to the throne of God. We can approach men the same way when we know the truth. The real test of a man is when he can admit when he was wrong and ask forgiveness.
if you've never been to Mexico, it can be scary ... Los Algodones has it's own kind of scary... the border crossing shuts down at 6 or 7... by 5:30 the place turns into a ghost town ...
This was a fantastic video. I am terrified of dental work as well. But I am 56 years old. I cannot keep putting this off (I already have for years). Thank you for this honest review and the information.
I personally know 3 people that had severe health issues 2 with cancer, 1 late stage. All 3 chose to be medically treated in mexico and today all 3 are healthy as can be. The cost was the driving factor in 2 cases but 1 with late stage cancer chose to go for treatments the states wont even offer. Happy it went well Wranglerstar!
Good to hear it when I saw the snippet from Mexico I had a feeling that’s what you were handling down there, glad you had a great experience most do, I did. Being able to eat without sore teeth is a game changer keep away from sugar.!!!
Congratulations Cody! I know firsthand, after breaking one of my front top teeth, how shattering it is to your self confidence to feel ashamed of your teeth. And how life changing it is when you get them properly repaired. I did not consider myself a vain man until I was missing most of my front tooth!
Dental anxiety is a thing and I've seen it many times. Kudos to you for getting back into the dental chair. Our reptile brain doesn't forget the poor in office experiences. As a dental hygienist my best advice is, "whatever happens in life, don't stop brushing your teeth!"
A friend had $50,000 (US Price) done in the same town as you for $10,000. That was three years ago and he is still pleased. He did have to go back at one year for one last bit of work that needed to be done after his Gums had completely healed.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I'm almost 53 and have never been to a dentist. About 6 or 7 years ago a roasted almond chipped out part of one of my teeth. Eventually the other part fell out, and then a tooth next to it became loose and fell out. So, for many years now I have just chewed on one side of my mouth. I'm so glad to hear your experience was really good. It was very informative and helpful. We live in Michigan and every year my aunt and uncle would drive their fifth wheel down to Texas for the winter and walk across the border into Mexico to have their dental work and/or cleanings done, but I never heard them talk about it. I just knew they did it because it's cheaper, although I didn't know how much. That's crazy it costs so much in the U.S. compared to how much you paid in Mexico!
As someone who’s saving up for something like this, don’t have cavities or nothing - but just have never had that smile that I see everyone have, I relate to his emotions so much
Cody- all of your videos are somewhere between good and excellent, but this is one of your best. And all you did was sit in front of a camera and talk about your experience. Outstanding!
I really love Mexico. Very beautiful, wonderful food and loving people. I am very glad to speak relatively fluent Spanish. Mr Wrangler, I have no idea who you are, but I am so happy to see your relief and joy at having this very difficult problem taken care of.
1:45 you aren’t alone. Far from it! Many people have had traumatic dental experiences at a young age and neglect regular visits. I was one of them. Then finally in my late 30s after spending several thousands of dollars, I finally got all of my teeth fixed and take good care of them. Having a great dentist and staff makes a world of difference!
Good job, Cody! I have family who are dental-phobic, and it is quite difficult to get them to even walk through a dentist's door - you made an excellent decision! Hopefully, you will have lots of great photos with your family to hang on the wall with your pearlies in full-view.
So very glad you had a good experience. I also hate anything related to dentistry. Thank you for your courage to share something so personal. I think your testimonial will help others with similar issues, me included. Your comment about unfounded expectations reminded me of a Mark Twain quote "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime." I try to remind myself of this regularly.
Beautiful story. Glad you were able to get everything fixed. Hopefully now you can get on a schedule to see a local dentist every 6 months to keep it all healthy. My mother always knew that dental health was paramount. I've seen a dentist every 6 months for my whole life (in my 40s now). Never had a major cavity. All my original teeth, no damage, no crowns, no root canals, no nothing. I'm my dentists most boring patient, and that's a wonderful thing. Keeping up with it is all you have to do.
This is the most practical and informative video I’ve ever seen . I’m in the same boat as you Cody but probly a litte worse . I’ve had 2 consultations . I have no ins. And the fear factor is real for me . Thanks for this testimony . It’s very inspiring to me
Absolutely agree! I would put this video in the top 3 he's ever made. An incredible journey and experience. Sharing his massive fears kept me on the edge of my chair.
I am so happy for you. It is great for you to have your smile back. My wife who is in the medical field says that dental health is a major factor in longevity. Congratulations.
Mexico is great. My family has gone to Mexico for affordable procedures in the past and we would do it again. Even with travel costs, it was far less expensive and wonderful results.
Thank you, Cody!! Such a great story - and you're speaking to many of us in the exact same position... This is so helpful! Because of your shares, I bought (and love) the same Yanmar tractor you have... and like you, I need similar dental work... We've been talking about going out of the country to get me fixed up... Again... This... You... are so helpful and much appreciated 🙏♥️
Thank you so much for sharing your very personal health experience. This may be my favorite video of yours ever, and may impact my future dental choices and health significantly since I'm already in the region. Congratulations, you've got a great smile that finally reflects your true, spontaneous feelings again. 😁
Really looks fantastic! I'm glad to hear you're able to eat and feel normal again, people don't understand how awful it is not to be able to chew. Takes so much enjoyment away from Life
Well Cody that’s a good looking smile right there, glad to hear of your great experience and sharing this does a lot of good to a lot of people. Not all is perfect in Latin America, but also not all is bad. Common sense and proper research always is a great approach to things in life. I really enjoy your videos and growing in up in Latin America myself, your videos have helped me to understand better the US culture, glad to see that this experience helped you and know you carry through this video the same help to analyze Latin American culture from the other side! Cheers man, keep up the great stuff flowing! 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Oh yes, i'm 36 and i didn't go to the dentist for exactly 20 years. Finally went a couple months ago and got a regular dentist, but just because i suddenly got stronger pain and it didn't go away for a month. But overall i think people that know will agree that toothache and (lower) back pain are two of the absolute worst there is.
I'm 7 months in getting my teeth fixed. It was 18 years between dental visits, mostly due to kids and child support. I'm thankful my dentist is extremely good and affordable and I'm in the position to pay them.
Perfect timing, Cody, for me: exact same mental reservations, about getting my teeth fixed. I am going to the Philippines to get my numerous broken teeth fixed in 5 weeks. I get this fear of smiling, just in the past 6 months, and having to go to graduation in December, I was so afraid one would break in front, and not just on the sides…. As a professional writer, I need to smile at book readings. Your post is just a perfect over view. Thank you!
Thanks for making the video. I'm in the same place you were in. Had two quotes from American dentist and they were both over 10k just to get started and address a couple issues. Regardless, I need to get something done so I can actually smile again and not have to worry about pain. I live close to the border always so I'm going to consider this.
It’s worth it! At least when I did it, I was quoted $4500 here for an implant which insurance didn’t cover and I got it done for $1800 in Mexico. Same exact implant system and it came out great. No issues with it in 3 years. Just make sure you check reviews and shop around!
I appreciate your opening up about your experiences. I had a bad dental experience in my late 20's and developed a fear of dentists. I neglected my dental work to the point where extractions were necessary. After years of pain and abscess teeth I finally opted to get them all pulled and get dentures (they were that bad). I hadn't smiled in many years and while dentures aren't what I wanted in life, it has surely changed my life for the better. I can eat without pain and gained confidence once again. If I can tell anyone thinking about their fear of a dentist, I would say that getting the work done earlier can be one of the greatest things you can do for your own well being.
Hey Cody. Look into doing a heavy metal detox after getting those mercury amalgam fillings removed. I too went to Los Algodones 15 years ago and I had a great experience.... but I wish I knew about enviormental/ holistic dentistry when I had my old fillings removed because normal dentists don't go through all the extra damming and percautions while removing the mercury. Your teeth look great!
Wow! This is exactly what I needed to hear. I am in a similar situation not as extreme but maybe half as bad. Sometimes things like this video happen upon you and can change your life. I’ve got to book my flight. Thank you brother.
Glad you adulted up! I go get my pearly whites checked out tomorrow... I'm 46 and have been only to two dental practices in my life and things are just fine
You're not alone Cody. I know first hand how you feel. I waited way to long (scared of dentists) to even have a root canal done, I had to have the molar extracted, and that was if I was put under. I did spend a lot of coin on my front teeth, to get them fixed. Don't ignore dental problems.
So glad you did this Cody! We also go to Mexico for dental, near Harlingen. We went to Los Algodones first and had a great experience there as well, but have a great dentist in Nuevo Progresso too. Traceys will be very grateful for your testimony and they probably had no idea they were going to get so much new business! We have found very professional people in Mexico, and have also had other medical procedures done there that went well.
I am so happy for you Cody. So many people have extreme fear of the dentist, and I applaud you for having the chutzpah to work past that, and have all of the problems fixed. It is always fantastic to meet someone like Javier, who can give you some guidance and direct you to the best place to be. I hope you keep in contact with him. He could be a great host, or guide for a vacation in Mexico, and maybe you could host him for a visit to the states. Your teeth look fantastic by the way. I would not look at your smile and think that it was manufactured. And hey, it may be a result of some manufacturing, but it is nevertheless, your real smile, and it looks great.
Cody, thank you for sharing your dental work experience from viva Mexico. It is now on my to do list down the road. I have put off my dental work for couple of years here in the US even with our employee insurance because there are more expensive $$$ fees that comes with during visits. I will save my $$$ to get the best dental work down in Mexico. My current Ram diesel is an American brand that is made in Mexico. Now, my future teeth will be a Mexican made for a US citizen. Keep on smilin', Cody! Every smile you give will bring hope to many😁. Take care.
I live in San Diego. Some employers in the area offer health plans that cover general dentistry for dentists in Tijuana. I also have friends that take their kids there for orthodontia/braces. My employer will even reimburse me from my health account for dental care across the border. Tijuana is a good place to visit. I even have friends and relatives that live there.
I am so happy for you Cody and thank you for sharing my wife needs major work on her teeth and I will let her watch your video to hopefully convince her to do the same. bless you and your family Brother. 🤘🏼🇺🇸
I’m grinning ear to ear seeing your reaction at the end. I had a similar reaction a few months ago, I had a filling fall out and I just lived with the sensitivity for almost a year. Then I got a cavity in it and had to have it taken care of, once it healed up I couldn’t believe the feeling of drinking iced water and ice cream with out wincing or being careful. Keep them clean!
Thank-you for this video! Our Canadian Controlled Dentistry is extremely expensive and hit and miss....been thinking about Mexico for awhile. Wish you had checked out the other place as well but i understand your mental state. Winderdome Resort BC
congrats, they came out literally perfect :) This is odd timing for me to see this I have an appointment tomorrow with the dentist I have waiting a few years to keep up with dental work out of the same fear of the dentist...but I know hoe important dental hygiene is for your overall health...bad teeth can kill you and thats something we just don't learn enough as kids in America...Most of us ojnly go to the dentist when we are in pain and are forces to go because the pain overcomes the fear... and thats always too late...
INSPIRATIONAL on so many levels!!! May the Lord bless you abundantly for your brave honesty and humility to share on such a personal level. Awesome video! I was captivated by your story telling, and I don’t even have a fear of dentists. (However, I completely understand, as my elderly mother has had to go on sedation drugs just to go to a dental cleaning, because of what dentists did to her as a child without Novocain.) My eyes are filled with tears of joy just thinking about how many people will be inspired by your story. I can’t help but think that our Lord is saying, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” From grandma Mimi 😌
Thanks for sharing as you said just being honest Teeth are important and absolutely are looked upon first in judgement by people. I was in that very same boat of not wanting to smile and feeling like I couldn't fully express myself. You definitely got me thinking and pulling some numbers because the results speak for themselves not to mention just the feeling of having your smile back is fantastic I'm sure!
This video will be a blessing to many people. Regular dental visits are no guarantee. I went every for dental cleaning and checkup every 6 months for 40 years and still had gum disease because my dentist was inept. Thankfully he retired before I lost teeth and found a good dentist that corrected a problem that I didn't know I had.
Both my wife and I went to Mexico and had gastric sleeve. By far the best medical treatment we have ever had. We would not think twice about going back and having any procedure done in Mexico
Yep, we are fulltime RVers currently here in AZ by the border in Cochise County. Our neighbors are here from Alberta for the winter to escape the snow & cold as well as to get dental work done in Mexico. It's their 2nd season coming here.

I’m sure they’re gonna appreciate you sharing your experience. You deserve it, Cody. You’ve helped more people than you know!
Algadonnes ?
Matty Van Halen has a channel,
He was there last year. Very happy.😊
Same thing in the UK and Europe, Turkey seems to be popular destination... also Poland and other eastern European countries...👍
Congratulations on a new sense of pride and self esteem!
Tears here, too, bro. It is a miracle.
Man I needed this video, growing up Amish and not being taught dental hygiene and now at 26 y/o reaping the consequences and I haven’t smiled in years. I need to do this
Same here. But I am 58 now. I got it done in Monterrey, Mexico. Excellent, professional work, for pennies on the dollar.
Dental infections can go into your brain, don't ignore them.
The neck is a small space with lots of important stuff, not the place you want an infection/abscess!!
tooth infections were the number one cause of morbidity and mortality in the west before the discovery of antibiotics.
You nailed it with the last bit, they do the multiple appointments to bilk more money from insurance.
Cody is in the States but our dental is not much, if any better.
Why are Americans obsessed with smiling?
I need for working man in Florida. Mexico and America need to be together. Love you brother. Get Jesus
Wranglestar, you should leave a good positive review on Tracy's. I looked at the reviews and did not see yours.
Thank you for mentioning the airport random meeting. I better keep my eyes up!
Thanks
All the best bro
I've been there to a Canadian-owed dental office in Mazatlan, Mexico, in 2010. Prices have gone up since then. If I were to go again, I'd take the advice of the locals, Mexicans. Find a regular Mexican dentist they cost a lot less than dentists catering to foreigners. When booking a hotel online only stay for a few nights long enough to find a better and cheaper motel for about half price. In my case it was $40 per night and later found ones for $25 and were all lined up along an ocean view beachfront.
Well said, about hotel rates after you can relax.
We all thought you were finally getting hair plugs to ditch that toupee.
As a fellow anti-dentite, this gives me hope. Glad you got it sorted.
right there with you bud. I need to go but its hard to get the drive to go.
😂
@@lmnop599 ?
Everyone knows you go to Turkey for that. That's the next video.
I literally spit out my drink when I read this...LOL
You can do this
I would get partial dentures if I was you
Cody, I'm glad for your positive experience and transformation... At 66 years old, with a similar before experience, I just had 6 broken teeth surgically removed... I still need to see a general dentist to see what my options are for other teeth that aren't as critical..
Continued success to you...
That’s one hell of a smile Cody, and it’s your smile. Congratulations.
Aww man, Cody, great to see you smile like that, you look genuinely happy! Love it!
How to tell the difference… I GOTTA GO…
🎉I think a lot of people struggle with seeing the Dentist both for fear and cost. I know in the past I neglected my teeth and it felt amazing to get back on track. What an amazing and informative video and on a personal note, I am very happy and proud of your accomplisment and confronting your fear. Congratulations and God Bless; as alway great content! Beautiful Smile
I'm impressed you went the whole video without smiling.
Good job to face your fears.
I have a feeling Traceys Dental is gonna need to expand hahaha!
I was thinking the same thing!😅
This video has made me confident to try a dentist again. I have bad teeth and have put it off for years do to bad experiences. I’m really happy for you and no how awful bad teeth are!
TERRIFIED like you about the emotional damage a dentist did to me as a child, Scared to DEATH of the dentist. Very inspirational story you have, maybe it will put me one step closer to having the same thing done, God bless you
LOVE YOUR HONESTY !!!F
WHAT A GREAT SMILE .... BEEN THERE NO SMILE,
LIFE IS WORTHLESS IF YOU CANT SMILE !!!
Constant dental pain can turn you into an asshole.
That's an amazing story! Thanks for sharing! You gave me the chills just talking about going to the dentist!
Do you have more details on the treatments that aren't offered in the states? What the treatments were and where they went to get them? Thanks!
@@JDeWittDIYPlease don't take the bait.
Do you know where they went for cancer treatment?
thats insane. Americans normalized been treated in another country. the healthycare industry fucked the country and people dont care
Good to hear it when I saw the snippet from Mexico I had a feeling that’s what you were handling down there, glad you had a great experience most do, I did. Being able to eat without sore teeth is a game changer keep away from sugar.!!!
Thats fantastic! There is nothing better than having the smile sorted out. And the bigger thing, is the lack of anxiety for future work.
Congratulations Cody! I know firsthand, after breaking one of my front top teeth, how shattering it is to your self confidence to feel ashamed of your teeth. And how life changing it is when you get them properly repaired. I did not consider myself a vain man until I was missing most of my front tooth!
My friend kicked 2 front teeth out with his skate😅. It never bothered me, I got a wife-it never bothered her either😅
I’m glad you are getting some attention for your problems ! We have definitely missed but glad you are taking care of your health ! We support you!
As someone who’s saving up for something like this, don’t have cavities or nothing - but just have never had that smile that I see everyone have, I relate to his emotions so much
Wow! It looks like they did a great job. I’m happy to hear such a positive story about that 👍!!
Cody- all of your videos are somewhere between good and excellent, but this is one of your best. And all you did was sit in front of a camera and talk about your experience. Outstanding!
Happy to hear you had a great experience! Thanks for sharing! We missed you bro.
I really love Mexico. Very beautiful, wonderful food and loving people. I am very glad to speak relatively fluent Spanish. Mr Wrangler, I have no idea who you are, but I am so happy to see your relief and joy at having this very difficult problem taken care of.
So happy and proud of you. People that have never had a bad dental experience Don't really know. It will be great to see you smile. 😁
I’m glad to hear your experience was good.
Trying to express your emotions about things like this as a man is tough.
I'm in the same boat as you. Teeth are one of things that can't heal on its own like bones etc.
This is on my list of things to do. I have heard nothing but great things about having work done there. Congrats!
This is the most practical and informative video I’ve ever seen . I’m in the same boat as you Cody but probly a litte worse . I’ve had 2 consultations . I have no ins. And the fear factor is real for me . Thanks for this testimony . It’s very inspiring to me
I am so glad that it worked so well for you! Godspeed! And thank you for sharing so openly and sincerely!
Hands down one of your best and most useful videos you have ever produced thank you
Absolutely agree!
I absolutely admire your honesty. It is one of the greatest aspects of your channel. Congratulations on your new lease on life!
I am one year into getting dental implants and I too find a very affordable dentist here in Oregon and I am so glad I did so
Perfect timing, Cody, for me: exact same mental reservations, about getting my teeth fixed. Thank you!
A great gift, that you shared this. But hey, your videos are always authentic great info and attitude.
Awesome video ! Thanks for sharing your experience and time with us !!😊😊
You're not alone Cody.
Thank you for sharing such personal feelings and sharing your experience. Such a fantastic example to other men out there with similar fears.
Best video you’ve ever posted!!! 👍🏻
I am so happy for you Cody and thank you for sharing my wife needs major work on her teeth and I will let her watch your video to hopefully convince her to do the same. bless you and your family Brother. 🤘🏼🇺🇸
Happy for you Cody! Worth every penny.

Congratulations!
I had no idea you were suffering soo much. I really glad you faced your fear and took care of this. Thanks for sharing.
congrats, they came out literally perfect :) This is odd timing for me to see this I have an appointment tomorrow with the dentist I have waiting a few years to keep up with dental work out of the same fear of the dentist...but I know hoe important dental hygiene is for your overall health...bad teeth can kill you and thats something we just don't learn enough as kids in America...Most of us ojnly go to the dentist when we are in pain and are forces to go because the pain overcomes the fear... and thats always too late...
I can’t help but think that our Lord is saying, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
From grandma Mimi 😌
Perfect set of pearly whites! I did the same on a trip to Taiwan about a decade ago. I'll look into Tracy's next. Thanks Cody.
You're going to help more people with this one video than any other video you've ever done. Thank you for sharing.
Looks good Cody! Nice to see you back sir !
Thank you so much Brother. I too have not been in quite some time due to the dentist my family had as a kid. Really appreciate this video!
I'm with you on the dentist thing. When I was a kid it seemed like one of the techs cleaning my teeth was always try to remove them with her pick.
We went and had a positive experience. Good on you for letting people know about this option.
I’m so happy for you! Your smile looks awesome!😊
What park are you in?

I love whatever WS recommends. He knows good stuff. Even my NOCO battery tender. God bless you WS!❤
