Yes, those are the real paintings. The reast called modern art is absolutely crap ( yes i am offensive but i dont care, i will call what it is ). If you are good with your paintings, you can definitely make a living, i know few artists who do. they dont end up poor. They are having a decent living.
Modern art includes artistic work produced during the period of 1860s to the 1970s, what you are talking about is the technique, but now every art form comes under contemporary art.
It's very strange that we don't have a single female artist in your list... Everywhere we see these male artist's name.. don't we have any female artist on the same level? How bad!!
