Walking along Bayzak Batyr Street. It is one of the streets that connects the center and the outskirts in the southern part of city.
Baizak Mambetuly (1789-1864) - warrior, organizer and active participant in the liberation struggle of the Kazakhs against the oppression of the Kokand rulers and the colonial policy of Russia. Comes from the Dulat clan of the Senior Zhuz.
The street is very cozy and consists of 2-storey buildings and brick condos.
One of the oldest counts more than 100 years and you can see it on 00:08. It is known as "Balkhana". According to old-timers, at the beginning of the XX century it was a stable, and then a hotel, where city residents sat on the veranda and were drinking tea. The house is now a private property and is not protected by the state as a cultural heritage site, so it could possibly be demolished at any time.
The reailway station is located here. it is one of the oldest in Kazkahstan - in August and September 1917, the Aulie-Ata Council of Workers' and Soldiers' Deputies took measures to quickly bring the railway to Aulie-Ata in order to have a permanent connection with the industrial center of the country. However, construction of the road was slow. On November 28, 1920, a line was built to the Aulie-Ata station and temporary traffic was launched. On September 4, 1920, the Council of People's Commissars of the RSFSR adopted a decree on the continuation of the construction of the Aule-Ata - Merke - Pishpek line with a length of 251 versts. But by autumn construction stopped. The construction of the road began in full in the spring of 1924, when construction acquired a massive national character. By a decree of January 10, 1936, the Aulie-Ata station was renamed the Mirzoyan station. In 1938 it was renamed after Dzhambul and held this name until 2017. Since 2017 it is a Taraz Railway Station.
In front of it the railway station Victory locomotive is installed. it is just gorgeous.
