Just received a 32oz jar of Rooster honey with comb, today: amazing flavor; delicious; making biscuits for tomorrow morning's breakfast - sweet butter and honey to be applied to hot biscuits! Yee Haaw 😀 Thank you!

@@PapaBee165 gotta pick on Yappy. But I love his videos. DirtRooster is my mentor, he got me into beekeeping. Have you seen Yappy's video on this removal? I was there when it was live.
Great video! I love it when you and Yappy get together. I’m sure y’all have such a good time. Love the photography you put into your bee removal videos. Thanks for sharing and letting me tag along :)
Wow, that was a messy one. But you two gentlemen did a great job of removing the hive and even finding the queen. Bravo! And Mr. Dirt Rooster, I love all the photos you take along the way, and loved the tour of this little town. P.S. The heck with reality shows. UA-cam is where it's at. REAL people doing real work. Amen. 🙂
We could bring back privately run businesses if we stopped shopping at franchises/big name box stores. I love to see thriving mom and pop businesses in small towns! Love the ends of your videos Rooster. Capturing the history of America...what's left of it. Growing up every neighborhood had a small variety store where you could dig an ice cold drink from a huge cooler, buy some candies, or pick up a few needed items for dinner and home at the end of the day...and you could walk there and home within a block or so. I miss those days! I miss gravel roads and forests too. Stuck in this ugly, stinky city and too old and poor to do anything about it. Got my citizenship in Heaven to look forward to for the rest of eternity though. Thank you Jesus! Great video!
Fun to see the two of you working together and really enjoy the videos of the scenery and seeing the pictures of other parts of the country. Very interesting!
Randy, Butler, AL was some of my old stomping grounds in the 70s and early 80s. I belonged to a hunting club north of there up Hwy 17 a little ways. I use to eat at the Hotel Cafe in downtown and occasionally the Church’s Chicken if I was in a hurry. It’s not very far to Meridian, MS what we called “The Bright Lights” back then . I hope ya’ll enjoyed y’all’s time in cotton country!
I followed you many years ago when i was very depressed and you helped me then, and i am unfortunately back there again now, and honestly thank you to you, your friends/colleagues and your customers this was such a great video and i cannot believe how great these are! thank you :)
Depression. It's not easy. Having gone through a long haul of depression, I know. Keep watching these videos. These bee keeping people are fantastic. And very, very entertaining. Many hugs and best wishes to you. ❤️
@@gogrannygo4431 Thats very kind of you! Unfortunately its been with me forever and comes in some big and small waves. You are absolutely correct that these guys are fantastic! even more so being entertaining, thank you again ❤❤
It has to be hard finding a ladder with a weight rating for you. When I was 250 it was hard to find them. And also lawn chairs. Who knew that most lawn chairs are rated at 180 lbs? Kept hunting till I found some but it was a chore. Clothes are hard too. Just crazy the prices as well. Anyway thanks again for another great video Randy. Fun seeing Yappy too. One question is did that poison get to the bees? Is it safe to set them up and eat the honey after they been sprayed with poison? Amazing they could live in that space after all the death in there.
Another great cutout vid thanks. You have some great sidekicks. I redid my vac set up this winter and no longer lose bees works MUCH better. Love the cutouts with windows. I did one last year that went from black dry and crispy to white as a sheet comb was about 7ft long lucky for me the home owner had lived there for over 50 years and was dead set against spraying, it had been there a long time.
This is def. the nastiest and grossest bee hive I've ever seen! And such an awkward place to work in too. No honey munching from this job~ yuck! Good job guys! I love that old bridge...dreamy location for a home.
I thought Butler, AL sounded familiar...they've had some severe weather and tornadoes go through there in the last few years. I watch a lot of storm chasing and weather streaming during severe weather and tornado warnings.
Interesting video and link from Yappy’s site. Why didn’t you use smoke into the ceiling prior to searching for the queen. Wishing you and your family a blessed week. Peace
Well i like that song around 18:20 mark. Yappy is aptly named❤another great video😊 Ok I also liked the song while you were “slow rollin” if u have a chance to share who they are I’d appreciate it!
In this situation could you savage the bees and start them in a fresh hive? This reminds me of the years I had a bedroom in the finished basement and would occasionally find a paper wasp or honey bee flying around my room. (I eventually figured out that they were finding their way to the fluorescent lights and dropping into my room that way. We never did figure out where they originated from-fast forward to 2022 (45 years later) I inherited the house after my mom passed away and we did a total gut in the basement. I found the paper wasp nest to the right side of one wall and the honey bee hive to the left side of the same wall. They had built their nests between the frame/drywall and the poured concrete basement walls. My husband found a gap in the sill plate and that's how they got in. I contacted a local bee keeper who identified the hive comb as old and possibly a die back. (45 years later all that was left was some dead bees and black comb like you had here. As for the paper wasp nest, that too was old and non active.) Thank god I had pulled all of those old hives out and they were laying on the floor when my environmentalist came through. Since he was there to take care of the asbestos floor tiles I had, they took all that clean out since it was considered contaminated. Two clean ups for the price of one.
