I really appreciate you sharing the bullet journal style that you bring to your planners! I do the same and I find myself able to refine my system with parts of yours.
Hi Ellie, thanks for sharing your various signifiers, such as task markers, migration indicators, notes, memories, events, appointments, and more. Super hulpful :)
Love this! I use the paw a lot because we have several rescued dogs and cats, some needing meds etc and a lot of my memories involve them. Im pretty new & still figuring out whats going to work for me but atm I fill in the heart signifier with red to signify my husband and I do the $ in green for anything involving money. TFS!🥰
This is so helpful as I have no imagination for the keys. I am intrigued by how do you know where to start writing a list for, say, tasks in 2 weeks? I noticed all your lists are very orderly, aligned with the correct space in between, etc., suggesting you do daily planning. I use my planner to book tasks weeks in advance, so I have no idea how to list them for a random day in the future when I may not have prepared the daily layout within the weekly layout. I hope this makes sense. How do you organize this scenario? It always happens to me, and I don't want the planner to look messy.
Sometimes I will have a “running task list” where I will just keep adding upcoming tasks, and then I will include them in my future dailies. I might leave a page or half a page for that. Other times I’ll just use a post-it until I’m ready to put it on the page. I hope that helps! 😊
Great video!!! I will be adding a few of your signifiers to my list. I use an ! to signify something is important. This is different than me using an asterisk for a priority - if that makes sense. I also use a ? If I need/want to research something.
@@jodiewhitfield4851 I got it on Amazon years ago but haven’t been able to find it since! There’s an Etsy shop called DoNotMicrowaveCraft that sells similar ones though 😊
@@miraclebub it is!! I always knew I held my pen differently but didn’t realize how uncomfortable it looked until I started making videos. 😅 I believe the grip is called a “lateral quadrupod” grip, which I didn’t know was a thing either. 😂🤷🏻♀️
@@miraclebub the grip is pretty tight, so it does allow for a lot of control.. but it can also make my hand sore after an extended period. 🥴 The other thing I always work on is not being so heavy handed!!

Thank you for watching and for sharing! I love that you’re able to use the paw print often - I hope to have a dog again one day. 🥰

Sorry for the super late response, but I hope you’re enjoying the Papertess! It’s a beautiful planner. 😊
@@elliescorner2019 that’s ok Ellie :) thank you. I still rewatch your videos 😄 as a background when I plan.
@@Coconuthead85 aww thank you for that! I do that with channels/videos too, and it’s so lovely my videos can keep you company the same way. 🥹

Thank you for watching and for sharing! I love hearing how you use the ! and ? signifiers - I am going to try incorporating them when relevant! 😊
Loved the video.... by chance do you know where your number stencil is from?

@elliescorner2019 thank you very much!
I'm fascinated by how you hold your pen. Is it between the middle and ring finger?

@@elliescorner2019 Interesting! Does it help with writing smaller? Your handwriting is so tidy!
