    how water tight is your observatory? i see you dont have flaps at either end. im drawing up plans for my own .

    how would u look towards the horizon from inside this?

      Nitesh Tripathi You don't. You will be limited to looking higher due to the walls but looking near the horizon is not desirable anyway with a telescope as there is far too much dust and light pollution to allow good viewing. The best viewing is generally 20 degrees or higher above the horizon. Plus there are often trees there anyway.
      The building design in this video is great but my concern would be with the tiny slope of the roof. Snow and ice loading (in certain climates like mine) require a much more sloped roof. One tiny design alteration but it could be done easily. Also I wonder about rain water getting between the rolling roof and the walls.
