The thing I’ve realized about Darlene’s songs and why I keep coming back to them is that her Melodies are simple, Beatiful and pure. There is no need for any vocal gymnastics. An annointed band, annointed singer and a beautiful melody with bible based lyrics that cries out to God is what my soul yearns for in worship music

Have been going through a rough & Rocky Time in my personal life. Raised a Christian but my walk with the Lord was Distant- up until I found myself in the valley. I woke up one morning with this song stuck in my mind.... Spent weeks trying to find who sings it and It finally came to me! I must hold my thoughts captive & rely on the strength of Jesus to carry me through another day, week 😞
