Awesome Group C were the Best. Lucky man to own & Drive an iconic Race Car like that.
Love it. Seems the owner is very passionate about his iconic car and while appreciating it's history still uses it. Bravo.

400hp is a lot back then i thought they were a lot less because of emission controls.
Emissions controls were only relevant to the road cars. And yeah a 5 litre VH road car was lucky to make 160hp.
The car crashed at Bathurst in 1982

I'd of thought those commodore would have 5 speed gear boxes?
Pretty sure the vk ss was the 1st to have the 5 speed, up until then the vb -vh had m21 box behind a 5.0L & the 4.2L typically had the m20 box.
Not in 1982
@@-HOC- the 4.2 would have had a m21 gearbox.the m20 was for the 6 cylinder
A super T10 4 speed was the standard.
It is a pity that the Falcon this bloke also owns has a modern rollcage . Not the original.
