It’s wasnt too long tho bc i told the tsa agent immediately and it ended up taking about as long as it wouldve to get through the long line for security
So long as it ain't international you can fly with no identification you only answer a handful of questions about yourself
I was born in London moved to BK NYC at 3 y.o and been living here since an jus keep gettin my green card renewed every 10 yrs … my fam is Pakistani an I visit there every other year, plus Saudi for Hajj/Umrah so I get ‘randomly selected’ for TSA questioning every time I fly back into JFK from any intl flight - even tho I fly atleast x2-5 intl flites per yr lol.
I used to get pissed off an let TSA staff kno about it wen I was younger but learned that’s the quickest way to the back of the line lol. Now I’m resigned to the TSA selection process and jus grin an bare that couple hour detour to the JFK/EWR secondary screening room, wouldn’t be half as bad if you didn’t hav to wait with no electronic devices lol …
I usually spend that time contemplating wether I’d be better off legal name change from Mohammed Ali to Mike Jones or some shxt OR keep the name but atleast not have a full customary Islamic beard …? Any airport staff wana chime in? It’s funny cause my wife is Bosnian and looks white af, first name is Natalia but is way more of an observant Muslim than I am … not that it should matter as neither of us is an extremist or threat … it’s just funny cause she’s got a thick czech/caucaian accent while I have a native nyc accent lol … it’s all jus curious to me, hope my lil son has it easier than I have had it, we named him in a conducive way for this.
I lost my ID in Vegas once and flew home with no ID. They run a background check and ask you a ton of questions to prove you are who you say you are then search you and all your stuff.
when you cant fly public airlines so you buy a private jet, the best solution, of course.
