I see this amp on a auction site brand new in the box in 100%mint condition brand new never used in bid 40 bux on the amp plus 15 bux shipping I know I can resale for at least 250 to a collector with it being in brand new condition original box everything .
@@audiokeller1975 I was looking at the "Amp Performance" website, and they also tested this amp! However, their power ratings are a bit higher than yours, and the efficiency of the amp is also higher (+70%). Why do you suppose that is? Thanks!
@@charlesbolano7148 At amp-performance they measure power with up to 1% distortion thats a german standard. I dont own a distortion meter and keep distortion as low as possible thats why my results are lower. Second thing is that all measuring devices have a little tolerance. If you take 10 amps from new shipped by rockford you will face 10 different values of efficiency and output power. i recommend to check the birthsheets of them. there is a birthsheet group on facebook where you can see variations of power and efficiency of a punch 200 ix for example. its hard to find two amps with exact same properties. Dont start to think " digital " - there is no good or bad 😁 A legendary pznch 200ix stays a reference amp everytime , it doesnt matter if its efficiency is over 70% or just hits the 62% mark. By the way: i tested a " newer " P3001 from 2004 or 2005 and that amp did well 👍
@@audiokeller1975 Most birth sheets I've looked at, rate the Punch amps at 60-65% efficiency. So your results are closer, than the Amp Performance's website! Thanks for the explanation. I have 4 P3001 amps from 2005, and 1 P325.1 amp from 2006! As soon as you put up the video, I will watch it.
the way you had your chart on this dyno made alot more sense, use this format more often.
Yes, but check out the final layout. I am happy that it’s finished 👍
Thanks
Excellent video as usual sir keep up the great work 👌💪👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you, thank you and thank you 😎🤣🤣😂😂👍👍🤘
Another great amp
I still have my 300s amp.

Yes, it’s still possible to make those „ steals „ ! For some people it’s just an old amplifier and for some people it’s a gem 👍
Hello! What year is this amplifier from, 2001? And what voltage did you use here, to determine the amp's efficiency?
Thanks, nice video.
oops i sent it back but i think it must be from early 2000s.
I calculate the efficiency with 13.7V or 13.8V.
