If you’re pearling across the islands, it’s also a good idea to bring snowballs. They have the same trajectory as pearls, so you can throw them first to make sure you will land safely

When i go end busting (without an Elytra) i tend to bring Firework Rockets so i can get up in the air as soon as i find an Elytra, i also bring a book with Unbreaking 3 and Mending along with an anvil so i can enchant my elytra as soon as i get one. Before i find an Elytra i tend to bring a Stonecutter in the E.Chest and i use the End Stone that i mine for bridging across the Void. When i wanna go home - i just foy around to find a gateway (whether its the same one that i used to get to the outer end or not. I dont really care)

Briefly, my daughter plays Minecraft on the switch ( yeah, i know the chunk load is shite) and she launched herself into a mountain (after I lucked out and got a ship on a nearby end city) without seeing it. I couldn't be arsed getting her another elytra until I saw your upload. The end is a mess without maps. Yaaaaas! Glasgow lad here btw.
You can make copies of maps and place them on frames for reference points like a banner however the maps will show up green for each one in a frame, I do this in the overworld to mark my bases and farms.
world building like this is actually something I struggle with. I want to be able to have lore in my world I can show people, but it just kinda feels weird to present to them a evil parrot who build a staircase into the shadow realm when your not posting alongside updates on your world. and just talking to yourself can just be depressing sometimes. how would you handle lore if you weren't a youtuber?

Wattles, you are one of my favorite builders, of course, but have you seen the block pattern on the bottom of the shulker box? Would be expensive, but the stock shulker box color would make any end build pop!
One technique that I use for finding the end cities is to just move basically in the cardinal direction that you end up from the central end island and just work my way that way.
Build a duper in your second stronghold, not necessarily to use, but as a guide on how to build dupers too, maybe we'll need the duped blocks for a bigger project in the future !

Wattles, you almost definitely need to find a closer stronghold to your base. Having to travel sooooooo far to get to the first Stronghold you found is just plane lazy...... and yes, I think there might be a little bit of irony in that staitment 😂 Also, just think of all that extra loot you can nab from an extra Stronghold! 😊👍👍👍👍👍
wattles, can you find a fun thing to do at the end of episodes like how you bred pandas in sez3? little things like that make the series all the more fun! :) also it would be so cool to see you try building in a more modern style too, like with custom cars and stuff if you wanted to try that
I love the idea of a moon base! Maybe you can terraform an end island to look like Mars with terracotta and make it similar to the Mesa, and make a Mars research base on it.

But then how do you get home? I thought the end gateways only spawned after beating the dragon. I have only been to the end once in survival, so I genuinely don't know.
@@mommafist You are correct. The portal back to the Overworld only opens when the dragon is defeated. I either bring an Ender Chest with me, or find one in an End City, and I put everything I looted into the Ender Chest using the Shulker Boxes I got as well. Then I jump into the void and die. You respawn in the Overworld and all your stuff is in your Ender Chest, you are just without your XP since you died.
@@mommafist To be fair, this strategy is mostly exchanging one tedium for another. I choose to skip the dragon fight, but my decision means that I have to bridge for 800-1000 blocks over an empty void. That's certainly not for everyone. It is much easier on Bedrock than Java.
NOOOOO 😭😭😭. You don’t need to make a map with paper all around a compass 😭. Just have one paper and one compass, put it in the cartography table and you’ll make a map at a cheaper cost. (I’m sorry but I can’t just watch you make a map like that and not know about this 😓)
Wish free servers on Java were like that. I can only see like 8 chunks so basically it’s so much harder to find a city. I only found 4 in 2 and a half hours when on bedrock I find one every 3 minutes lol😅

If your pearl lands in the void it doesn't teleport you tho, I literally spam pearls until I land lol

Is this the last of the guide series? It's been 12 days since the last episode. I looked forward to this every week.
You can make copies of maps and place them on frames for reference points like a banner however the maps will show up green for each one in a frame, I do this in the overworld to mark my bases and farms.
