Troy deserves way more credit than he gets for his contributions to the Houston rap culture. Salute to you Willie D for the dope interview. Much respect from Memphis
Troy came to my high school and told us to say no to drugs and somebody said yo song says "smoking big killa getting high in the benz".Troy said it also says "But it gotta be a better way".
@@rafelgreen4129how is that acknowledging being a hypocrite? It was his way of life. People do what they know to survive. I love Lil Troy! I met this man back in 2001 when he rolled up on me in his white Benz witht he baddest chick I ever seen. he asked me what I had going on as I was walking with posters and Cd's trying to get our music off. This was back in Poteet, Texas 2001. In 2011, I seen him again in San Antonio at a car show and out of everybody in the crowd he recognized me and yelled out at me like we was the best of friends!! He rembered me!! I am nobody. That was most admirable moment ever from a rapper. Trae the Truth is second after Lil Troy!!
Troy a real dude. I met him down in Texas when i was driving trucks and he gave me his cell number and told me to holla if i needed anything . Dude didn't know me from Adam, but always gave me game whenever i called him.💯
