example 17 i don't understand really, because it's a real easy thing to play unless you insist on breaking the "natural" alternating right hand motion, like al does, and for which there is no reason... and it looks like a bad habit HAHA sorry al...
@MrJimb3am Try Splendido Sundance. That was a bitch to transcribe. Took like two months. And then I forgot it after like 5 days of not playing it. Sucks
He actually loses me in a lot of places. I know what he's talking about, but I can't execute any of these concepts just yet. I've been practicing for a while too, i'm not even close to being able to apply them. Although, I like how he simplifies the logic of it all. It leaves execution in your hands which is just a simple matter of practice.
@MrJimb3am Haha right on... yeah for sure. Hell, just be thankful you have the skill to pull it off. All complex music takes a while to master. Shit, when I first started playing I would've just been happy to be as good as Kirk Hammett at my peak. Needless to say with all the dedication I became much much better than those expectations and still continue to improve. I don't feel that I've reached my peak yet. Just keep working toward your musical goals and you'll surprise yourself
@MrJimb3am Oh, I can get it back. It'll just take a little time. It's always easier to find something once you've figured out the fingerings and positions. Al is flat out amazing. Passion Grace and Fire is ridiculously good. The album version I mean
This is one of the best video series to learn or understand some guitar basics. Thank you, hombrexz.
This dude is as awesome as it gets on the six string
Notwithstanding his amazing talent and technical virtuosity he has the 'tasteful' shirt market covered! Ha ha ha ha ha!

Does anybody know how to find the sheets of the examples?

I would love to see him re-do this video with better audio and a different axe. All on dvd with examples available. would be great.
