      That's awesome dude. I have thought about getting a seven string at some point specifically from Jackson I saw one that really caught my eye a little while ago. I'll have to look into it again

    Nice one. Mine is a JS32 Rhoads with a FloydRose. Standard tuning. First guitar I've had since 2009 so I'm basically relearning a lot.

    Nice unboxing man,I got myself one of these in the matte black and love it...
    I haven't played guitar in like 15 years so got allot of practicing to do to get back to where I was, made very nicely though..
    This is also the first guitar that is more comfortable with a strap then just sitting down and playing like I use to...

      Thanks man! I believe I also have a Jackson V in matte black it looks pretty similar, but you can tell there is a difference. And I definitely agree it's way better to have a strap on the guitar than to sit down although I can play this guitar, sitting down for a little bit before my arms start to hurt lol

      Scored new JB/Jazz set for $100 on eBay, They were going into my RR JS32T but I plan on getting rid of it soon so I'll probably hold em until I get this King V. I'm sure it look & sound killer just like 80s Megadeth V.

      Awesome pickups guys .yes I heard mustaine is awesome i used invaders for awhile then loved the blackouts mick thompson set and it's very note by note clear and such a bad ass sound downtune or standard whatever u want but it's my fav these js series are perfect and I think u need to change the pickups it will make u and the guitar tone much better. But it's all in ur hands and setup lol

    Dude nice review. I have one as well and I ordered it from sweetwater too a couple years ago and it came pretty well setup out of the box I just had to lower the action to my liking and it tune it. Other than that it plays pretty good considering how much it actually costs the only issue I have with is the neck dive but it's fixable if you move the strap button.

    How do you find the tuning having had it a while.

    • @madthra5her
      @madthra5her  Рік тому

      The tuning that I play in which is Open C really works well on this guitar for sure. I have found that Jackson guitars are much easier for me to play than any other brand to my recollection. that's more of a personal preference deal for me. I have played in open sea for almost a decade now, and it's practically the only tuning that I play in other than two custom tunings that I created which are variations of drop a and drop b.

    Does it neck dive?

    • @madthra5her
      @madthra5her  Рік тому

      if you're talking about stuff that involve a whammy bar no I cannot do it. Reason being Is I had several guitars in the past that could neck dive and do those high pitch squeal's but they were obnoxious to return it would take me a total of two hours without help. I was also a teenager when I had those type of guitars.

    • @nurtbmtv
      @nurtbmtv Рік тому +2

      @@madthra5her neck dive means the guitar will tip forward/left side downwards because it is not balance so it will tip downwards towards the neck when on a strap. like the SG guitars.
