- Good afternoon, I have a special craft tutorial for you today. In this crafting adventure I will show you how to make this Mermaid Wreath using the new Dollar Tree Mermaid Wreath form. I was so excited to have found the new wreath form in Dollar Trees Shore Living line that I designed a brand new method of using Dollar Tree deco mesh that does not fray! I will be introducing my new Rose Petal method that I designed specifically for this wreath to give the tail the look I was going for. The new method is fun and easy to do, perfect for all skill levels. Let's get to crafting and let me show you how to make this unique no fray deco mesh Mermaid Tail Wreath.

This is the prettiest wreath I've seen made on this wreath form. Excellent job as always. I made one for my myself and love the end result but had an issue with wrapping the dark blue around the largest part of the wreath frame. I didn't have the mesh from Dollar Tree which tends to be softer and easier to work with especially when wrapping. My mesh for that part of the project came from Hobby Lobby and it's a bit thicker and I had to fight it all the way to the top. I'm going to try one in a green pallet and possibly even pink using the same technique. I really appreciate the technique of how you folded the Dollar Tree mesh at the bottom of the mermaid tail. Makes it so much easier to hide the fraying mesh that they sell. Fantastic job!!! I've found I'm watching your channel more and more 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏

I just bought these the other day! I am redoing my daughters bedroom as a 'UNDER THE SEA' theme! They are 8 and 6. Struggling on ideas to be honest. Ive never decorated a room before. These poor girls have had a very plain and blahzee room and I want to create a space that I only could dream of having growing up. Between trying to figure out creative multi storage and the over all lay out of the small room ive been feeling overwhelmed. I would rather create then clear out haha. Anyways after buying the mermaid tails and scalloped shell wire wreaths, I couldnt make up my mind as to what to do with them. That was until i came across your page!! This is by far, in my opinion the best idea and design for this frame!!! Thank you. I am now following you, so i look forwad to more beautiful creations and ideas

Have you tried this with tulle?
I think it would work very well with the tulle with the snow on it but regular tulle might be a little thin, go ahead and give it a try and see if you like the look.
I don't think it looks good with the tulle. It won't allow me to post a pic

Michelle (?) When you glue rope onto foam wreaths do you use the glue gun with cool setting glue? Or regular hot glue? Thank you in advance❣️
If you have a high temp glue gun and use it on a foam wreath, the heat can actually melt the wreath. So you want to use a low temp glue gun or if you only have a high temp glue gun, add the glue to the rope allow it to cool a little bit before you attach it to the foam wreath.
