This game was and still is a huge inspiration for my paintings, the music puts me in a mindset where the creativity just flows with ease. Such an og game.
Wow, paintings eh? :O You must be very talented then ;D. This game was one of the first RPGs I've ever played. So it holds a dear place in my heart. On the topic of paintings, since your art is heavily inspired by Fable, would you happen to be taking any commissions friend? :O
I miss Fable so much It's sad to see my hyperfixation of Fable cut to a limit because the discontinuation, and you barely can find fans to connect with currently
Halo has Great Music, like God Tier Music. But Fable has a more... Grounded Approach to Music, and it is Beautiful. Definitely one of my Favorite Series of all Time.
I love the spirit of these games so much. Truly nothing will ever match it and what it became to my brother, cousins and myself growing up. I'm listen to this while currently reading through the Silmarillion, while on long road trips, running or working, e.t.c.
JRPG fan here and I love Fable a lot. First beat Fable when I was 10 years old on the first Xbox and I always replay it here or there. I’m 25 years old now and I will always love Fable for as long as I live.
I'll never forget playing Fable on the Xbox when I was like maybe 8 or 9 Waking up early enough before school, so I'd have the time to complete the Arena mission lmao! Oh those were the days !!!
You can't imagine how much i wish i could travel back in time. To the exact day i got Fable and played it day and night with my best friend. Travel back with most of the knowledge i have now. But not with my current physical condition. Just knowing that around 2017 a sickness called multiple sclerosis will befall me and make every day from that day on a living hell for me. I would change so many things till then. Or at least live out every single day to the fullest. Enjoy every single moment i have with my friends and prevent a lot of bad things from happening. Like the suicide of one of my best friends and other bad things that could have been prevented if i would just have made a different choice that day. Also i would remember the day my grandmother died. Just so i can drive to her place and give her the longest hug i can ever give to her, telling her how sorry i am that i never was what people hoped i would be for them, but that i love them regardless. No matter how cold my emotions have grown over those years. Fable was a game that showed me how much your decisions matter. That you will gather scars from battles you fight and that it is better to avoid fighting at all. Using your head and words. It is sad that Fable 2 gone slowly downhill and Fable 3 was such a failure.. Peter may not have made the best decisions and to some he seems to be a con man, but in my mind he created wonderful memories. Especially with other games i loved as a child. (Black & White, Dungeon Keeper, etc.)
I always wondered why people feel the need to share "their story" in some random vids youtube comments. Is it for imaginary internet points, some pity from strangers, telling you how sorry they are for you idk really. Not hating bro but who cares? everybody got some bad experiences and some like me and you have a painful and sad life cause of horrible things that happend to us. But who cares maybe it makes u feel better, idont get it

So much love in all the fable OST comments much love and health to you all and your families I remember the first time I stepped into the temple of light and this track came on, it touched a very deep part of my soul. I just stood there in the temple for what seemed like 1 or 2 hours just listening to this over and over with tears, just listening to its beauty. Then the years passed on trailer is out! Overflowing with excitement that somehow the story continues. Midnight launch, finally get home from GameStop with my copy, insert the disc and load up, open to the menu music and there it is again now it’s its ethereal version. I immediately Burt’s out with a “HA!!!!!” and sit there listening again tears in my eyes I much prefer the harp version that I first heard all those years ago compared to the version that came with fable 2 but they are both beautiful in their own way. Russel Shaw is one of the greatest and from what is written in these comments, we all have a spot in our heart for him
Absolutely. Wonderfully said, friend! I sometimes have a wish, in the back of my heart, that I was born a few years earlier so as to have been old enough to attend mid-night releases in the early/mid 2000's. I would have greatly enjoyed gling to the Halo and Fable releases back then. The music in these games, exactly like Tolkien's writings, genuinely takes me somewhere else, truly allows my mind to literally jounrey to another realm which full of absolutely imaginative worlds and every manner of possibility for adventure.
I always starts crying while listening to this I don't know why but it's a feeling that reminds me sorrow, fault, missing someone, regrets, sadness...It's very emotional to me cause I reflect a lot of things in my life nd how things could be different if some decisions were choosed the right way..
Just want to say thank you for the vid very relaxing. people always ask me how the heck I sleep to this..I’ve fallen to sleep to this growing up listening to the halo title screen or fable music while playing my original Xbox ughhh wish I could experience them brand new again
I feel sad for any kid that didn't have the Opportunity of experience Fable 1 when it was released or even as a young person. Such a simple but magical game for it's time. Fable 1 Was my Skyrim before Skyrim.
This one piece of music encapsulates the tone of the series and if playground games misses this I'll be upset. It's that melancholic sound of a music box. You get that silly set of figures dancing in the glass. The lore is deep yet silly. The world is goofy, but sad. Theres the two figures dancing in the glass... The music plays and they dance. It's bittersweet throughout. Like a chocolate lime. Essentially, its a sombre tale, but with a stiff upperlip and dry existential gallows humor. If you dont get it I dont blame you. Go watch Monty Python's meaning of life. Or if youre a drinker, have a lemoncello whilst watching "the seventh seal" personally, Fable 2 was my favourite because it completely nailed that tone. Of looking at a biscuit tins art at christmas and feeling both uplifted and sad. Its a sense of longing and nostalgia. Sehensucht. I guess as the Germans put it. Youre always the child at the start, events change the world changes, but youre still a child making descisions..
