  • Can you use insulin syringes for your TRT program?
    I mean....why not. Of course you can!
    Let's talk about it and demonstrate it.

    Backfillin the slin pins helps keep the needle sharper for less chance of the bee sting feelin😊

    You didn’t push air into the vial, any reason why?

    • @therestoreclinic
      @therestoreclinic  7 місяців тому +3

      With insulin syringes you don't have to. This is because the needle itself is rather small (27g) and thus injecting air into the vial isn't going to change the pressure gradient. However, if drawing with a larger needle such as a 22g, then injecting air will speed it up as liquid flows from higher pressure to lower pressure (from the high pressure vial into the lower pressure of the large needle).

    I started off using the harpoons, and it was utterly ridiculous. I wouldn’t even be on test if that were my only option. 27 G insulin syringe is the way to go for sure.

    There are no issues with using the same syringe that you draw with, to inject with? I saw some other tutorials where they draw with a larger needle and then backload it into an insulin syringe that they then use to inject with.
    I thought there could be issues such as rubber getting stuck in the needle, if you use the same needle/syringe to draw and inject with, and greater chance of infection

      No issues. We have plenty of patients who do the method we demonstrated. Think of it this way...diabetics have been doing this method for decades. Yes, you can do the backfill method as well, which is what you described. Technically, there's no "wrong" way of doing this. Just find what suits your preference.

    I find that tuberculin syringes, luer lock, works much better. You can attach an 18 gauge draw needle, draw up your testosterone, then swap the draw needle out for a 25 gauge, or 27 if you prefer, you can even get half inch 30 gauge needles if you like. The tuberculin syringes are graduated in 0.1ml increments so your dosing can be just as accurate as an insulin syringe. Drawing up with a larger bore draw needle makes the process much faster and then you discard it for a brand new sterile injection needle. The cost differential isn’t much and you’ll have significantly more control over the user index.
    Best!
    😊

    Hello. I currently have 4 vials of 250/1ml enanthate per month. I use a 23G pin but am looking toward the 27 or 25G half-inch insulin syringe into my deltoid every three days. I am quite lean so shouldn't be a problem there. I have worked this out at 0.33mg per shot. would this combo be effective?. Thanks for a great, to the point video. New Suber BTW.

      Go even smaller, like 29g/30g and then inject every day. You literally can't feel those needles and you get more stable levels with every day injections.

  • @donnydye1998
    @donnydye1998 6 місяців тому

    You can do it two ways. You can use a regular 16 gauge drawing needle and transferred into your syringe and then you put your 29 gauge syringe underneath the hot water faucet for about two minutes and give me a shot in the shoulder. You don’t feel anything piece of cake two seconds.

    Do these pins go deep enough into the delt muscle to be administered effectively?

    • @therestoreclinic
      @therestoreclinic  5 місяців тому

      Depends how lean you are. Most of the guys we work with use them for delts, which this can easily hit the muscle. Other guys use the insulin syringes for subQ. Either option works just fine; it's more based on your personal preference.

    So 90 units = 150 mg I'm I right?

    • @therestoreclinic
      @therestoreclinic  5 місяців тому

      No. The dosage in depends on how many mg per mL the medication concentration is. For instance, testosterone typically comes in 200mg/mL. Therefore, 0.5mL =100mg; 0.75mL = 150mg; 1mL = 200mg. Hope this helps.

    Before you inject, it simply put your syringe with the cap over the needle under the hot water in your sink. Let it run for like two minutes, then simply give yourself a shot in the shoulder two seconds.

    This is not good advice for everybody. The problem is not everybody can reach muscle with a half inch needle. So you'll wind up with bad inflammation because you're really doing it subcutaneously

      Injecting insulin syringes in the delt goes IM for plenty of folks. Even if it goes subQ, then it's still fine. There's literature to support the efficacy of subQ.
