LE audio is likely to be a major win for people with hearing aids. I gather it can also broadcast in the likes of a movie theater or imagine hearing music and commentary inside a stadium or concert
It does sound promising but hearing aid companies are not delivering. I have the new Jabra Pro 20 hearing aids that are advertised as auracast(le audio/BT 5.3) computable and the are but only with their $250 BT5.3 TV streamer. I have tried to pair my hearing aids with a high quality but low cost BT5.3 transmitter using a Jbra app on my IPhone and it will not work. It is confirmed by Jabra tech support. Bottom line hearing aid companies don't want to loose the profit from their high priced tv streamers.
Will HFP Bluetooth profile (when using the microphone) use the LC3 codec too with BLE or just A2DP?
Outstanding to th point presentation! Thanks for reigniting my drive to create again!
