Best Elementary line in my opinion is Season 4 Episode one closing scene when Sherlock meets his father and his father says "You don't look well" & Sherlock retorts with "you look spry as ever, My compliments to the virgins whose blood you bathe in"
Really love their relationship. I like it how its platonic, full of trust and they know it too. It makes it even more significant when Sherlock cares and worries about Joan.
I'm just gonna come right out and say this: I've watched every episode of Elementary and Sherlock that has come out, and this is the superior show by far. The characters are more developed, the focus is where it belongs (on the cases, with the relationships between characters treated as subplots), and the greatest detective in all fiction is not reduced to a second rate Sheldon Cooper (with Elementary you get the impression that Sherlock understands social norms but just doesn't care, which is closer to the source material and more in line with what you'd expect from a detective who has to be able to read people as well as crime scenes). On top of that, Sherlock's third season sucked.

That recurring turtle cameo in the show was so nice. In her bed, the ambulance, in the desk drawer...I've always loved shows that didn't forget past episode moments and storylines.
I am SO glad you included Clyde! “Why does Clyde have a cross on his back?” “He’s an ambulance.” Now we need a scene where Clyde is wearing one of Mrs. Hudson’s cozies that she knitted (or crocheted) for him. Love the 26.2 tattoo on Jonny’s back left shoulder. Standard marathon..now he’s doing 50 mile ultra marathons for charity. Nice video...Mahalo! (Thank you)

I just finished this serial and it was sooo incredible! It like to start watching this show like a strangers with Sherlock and Watson and finish like the closest friends ever! I was so happy and now I want to start this trip again! 🎉❤

I love this show. starting season 6 tonight. I've stick with this more than the BBC one. I only watched up to season 2. imo the writing n acting does not compare to Elementary. it felt like that show was more fangirly which catered to merch etc. not saying it's terrible yet I prefer more meat on the bone so to speak.

Maybe you should actually watch it before judging. It's a very good detective show which, admittedly has nothing do do with the books except for the names of the characters. I presume that by "the real one" you mean Sherlock Holmes from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's books?
ATS/angel777 xD of course hes not exactly like Sherlok Holmes but certain aspects of his feelings towards justice and his way on getting philosophical are just on point. He was not an arrogant sociopath , like other characterizations make him appear. And the show actually shows how Sherlock worked hard to achieve so much knowledge and capability at solving crimes. That's my personal opinion however.

Just started watching this show two weeks ago, (don't panic - in order) on episode 17 of season 1 - can't get enough of it, brilliant!
Elementary is the best program on tv. Inventive stories and production values plus the outstanding performance by lead actor Jonny Lee Miller.
