Watching Yeosang and Wooyoung singing freely, without holding back just made me soooooooo happy and proud!
San's voice is perfect, it's like he feels the pain in every song he sings, his voice is a little hurt by the air that he puts at the end and that he can hear in a sharp way, it's like his voice is perfect for all the songs of ateez but in the melancholic ones it fits in an inexplicable way, it is simply like a caress for your ears.

After Jongho, San is the member who’s in charge of high note as expected from our lead vocalist. Most of Atinys wanna hear his high notes more especially in title track bc he’s doing it really well and a lot of people dont know how he has main vocalist technic bc he gets those shining parts only in b-side songs except Utopia Japanese Ver.

@@maanou5653 i am so sorry if it came out wrong... i didn‘t mean it that way. When i heard the song for the first time I was a pretty new atiny and I didn’t know them well. I just didn’t expect San to go off like this. I was more surprised than shocked, or even impressed. I didn’t know he could do that and it was very eye opening to me. I love San with all my heart and I know that its his high note. I would never even TRY to deny that.
Edit: and i think its perfectly fine to say that you are shocked by something like that. Many new Atiny can’t differentiate their voices and its totally natural that you are shocked when you didn’t think about it. The „I can’t believe its ...“ is probably more bc they are impressed. Not because they underestimate the members talent.

I remember I once started thinking about Ateez vocal line out of nowhere and doubted about it, to the point to questioning if it was weak. Then I realized that it was just that not only they're usually more dance focused, but also that in my head their vocals had been momentarily eclipsed by Jongho vocals (singer of the century, I don't accept criticism). Their vocal line is so freaking powerful and I won't ever doubt it again

I really wish ATEEZ takes a musical direction where they utilize more of the lower ranges of their baritones (Yeosang, Seonghwa, Yunho, and maybe also Mingi) in their songs, and I hope they also showcase Jongho's lower range in a smoother, more ballad or r&b oriented style. I also hope Wooyoung's, Hongjoong's and San's softer tones will be used more in r&b songs and high notes to add a different flavor to their songs. I hope that they explore their musicality like this, and I hope that they also experiment more with mixing genres like pop, alternative, r&b, soul, jazz, funk, house, hiphop, folk, rock, latin, and other fusion or seldom heard and obscure genres so that they can expand their versatility and discography more in their future releases.
Either ATEEZ ot Edenary said that those albums they released so far are just 15 minutes into their storyline, so i think we can expect a lot from their music

For example I didn't even know that clip of Yeosang singing in the practice room existed AND I'M ECSTATIC, HE SOUND SO GOOOOOD!!!!! Oh how I wish he'd release a cover or something like that, just on their YT, nothing too fancy, just to hear more of it, I simply adore the timbre of his voice!!!!
Also, I've never seen the video of Wooyoung singing at the concert either... you know, sometimes I think I hear less from him because he isn't as confident in his singing as some other members, but then I see this and it just confuses me, he literally sounds so good?!?!?!
