The young lady is correct that this is a very restful color. I think it is called analytical because when you look at it on the wall you wonder is it a bit green? maybe tannish? It depends on the light in the room of course. I feel qualified to comment on this paint because I have had it on the walls of my family room and kitchen for many years, even before grays became so popular. Now the trend is moving away from gray but I think I will keep it because people find it restful and inviting. It goes well with my brown upholstered furniture and colorful Pottery Barn rug. I have introduced reds, greens and golds in my artwork which suits Analytical Gray very nicely. It also goes with deep blues and blue-green. My flooring is a light, warm wood as are the window blinds. I have never tired of my cozy, eclectic room with its muted brick fireplace and mixed vintage furniture.Thank you for bringing this paint color into the spotlight.
I love to hear that you love your color so much! And a huge "well-done!" to you for being intentional about what you pair with it! This is a wonderful testimony of how a great color can last through many seasons of life and still 'move' and inspire you after years of being surrounded by it. Thank you so much for sharing with us! And if you ever want to show us your space- we'd love to see it! :) crawfordstreetdesigns@gmail.com

Ohh, I like this. Do you think it would be a good accent color to Neutral Ground (SW 7568)? Thanks.
It definitely could be! What are your other "players" in the space? Flooring? Any other major colors in your decor?
