How you make it twice as good and half the price? Cory spent the time redesigning the box and made the best product that is lighter, stronger, and cheaper. Best dude
Guy just make the perfect skate box. Its beutiful man. I still remenber a little rail my mom gifted me in my birthday 20 years ago. It was the best gift. Its the kind of thing that can make 10 kids unite in the real world every single day. Good times.
I have the heavy duty wedge ramp. As a forever beginner, the 10 inch height is ideal. I love the ramp, and never leave it outside. I take care of it, it takes care of me. We're keen like that. Pun intended. Someone at KR may remember. I got this as a present, and could not open it right away. So I skated it while it was in the box. And sent a picture back. I had no idea what was in it, till I opened the box :)
A agree with the comments, this should definitely be a 5 foot box. Four seems a little short anytime I’ve ever skated and portability for a 5 foot is great, too. I think most people would be willing to pay any extra 20-30 bucks for that extra foot.
Check out slap ramps they are the originals and have been doing puzzle ramps for years (better than this keen imitation) based in the uk and ship to Europe.
200$ really aint that bad. I once built a stool, just a simple hardwood stool, and paid like 180€ for everything incl rivets for style and paint. of course, if I'd bought wood in bulk it would have been much cheaper, but you also employ people and stuff. I like it. oh yeah, I have a video of me building that stool on my channel haw haw 😛 (very unprofessional)
1. Why doesnt both sides have a rail? And i like the thinking of less materials and want to give out for a good price. And the cuts, job well done. There should be alot of different styles of these rails tho in different lenghts and, i have a few ideas but not for free , maybe
Check out @slapramps been doing puzzle ramps for years and are far superior to this keen imitation. Full birch and steel for both sides of the ramp as standard. Not sanded pine like all of keens pretending like it the same as before but cheaper when it’s not.
I think if Y'all also included a flyer with information on how to paint/stain/seal the wood (of all your products), wud add another level of protection and wud add to the durability and longevity of them as well (🤷♂️ just a thought). Cause if i didnt know how to design/build anything, I'd still take the time to add that extra towards my ramp/box/etc longevity and it wudn't take much to "Poly-Stain" any of them. One light coat on all sides before putting it together and one coat afterwards, for years of added enjoyment! Nice video and sry for the added input, plus i will put together a video regarding my building a box, with Y'all's products as reference (sort of), once if gathered all the necessary materials.!!
Check out the original puzzle ramps by slapramps based in the uk. They have been making them for years, have a whole range of puzzle ramps for boxes to quarter pipes and mini ramps. They are far better than this keen imitation.
Dude you guys missed the point on that wedge joke. I think they were saying your ramp was too fancy and upscale. The property value of the wedge went way up from the piece of plastic people were used to skating.

A 6' foot long 15" inch high box cost 100$ (150$ with angle iron on both sides) to make while your equivalent costs 300$. I don't doubt the quality of your stuff but it is expensive
“The process of making someone or something more refined, polite, or respectable.” So it’s technically correct, but yes, it’s a word that’s usually used in regards to neighborhoods or other urban areas
You guys are late to the gentrifying joke! You guys aren’t actually gentrifying anything. They just mean it’s the “gentrifying aesthetics.” Think of a restaurant/brewery with lots of pinewood, metal, string lights, etc.
How you make it twice as good and half the price?
Cory spent the time redesigning the box and made the best product that is lighter, stronger, and cheaper. Best dude
Techmology
Because they are using Cheap pine ply, not birch so the ramp doesn’t last half a long under the guise it’s the same but cheaper.

Dude is so thoughtful and legit. Keen all day
I wish a 5ft box would come out 😂. 4 seems too short and 6 can’t fit in my car 😭
Build it yourself! Anyone is capable
Relatable
@@Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn I know but it’d be cool to support keen! May just pick up a 4ft
Will definitely keep that feedback in mind for future obstacles
I second this. That would fit so perfect in my car

Your prices are super reasonable. I love building stuff and have my own CNC router, and I still get tempted to buy your stuff. It's worth it!
Something as simple as a box with so many real improvements that's impressive
I have the 6ft bench. Gonna get this to put in my corolla. Easier to learn on. I can only do things I'm super comfortable doing on the bench.
Hey could you decrease the price for the ramps and stuff thanks
Looks awesome. My only concern would be it moving because of the low weight but it seems to be holding strong 💪🏽
Love these videos! Also making it more affordable is so perfect for todays world where everything costs more
Is it possible to order one of these to Europe/Austria?
What would the shipping costs look like?
Looks awesome.

Is the coping anodized aluminum or powder coated steel? Construction looks really slick. Good job guys!
Steel
Next project with the finger joints should be how add multiples together… modular length boxes or modular height kickers
Check out slap ramps they are the puzzle ramp originals and don’t need screws. Also they can be stacked and connected been about for years
Can't wait to skate the slapstick when it comes in
Bro make a puzzle 6ft box and 100 % take my money for real
Ohhh that’s coming to the site for sure. Just give us a couple weeks
@@keenramps awesome can’t wait to see it!
@@keenramps a man that listens to the people 🙏🏻
@slapramps been making puzzle ledges for years. Far better design and durability than this keen imitation
@@popshuvyomom7202 objectively untrue. Keen’s have screws so that in itself is a point in Keen’s court for durability lol.
Really cool box
You guys make the best stuff

the box at tompkins park broke after only a few months, repair the coping please

It’s a box joint. It’s a much stronger joint than a butt joint.
Haha you said butt joint
Sucks you guys went up on the price for this recently but still seems kinda worth it will definitely get me more motivated to go out and skate 👍
Make the "man ramp box/fun box/rail" but hire @FingaTrappa to CNC it 🏆
Looks good.
"We do our puzzle technology"
In the woodworking world that would be a finger joint, albeit a large one lol.

slap pad that can connect to another slap pad and puzzled if possible
@slapramps already have for years and have a whole range of puzzle ramps with connection possibilities
Take my money!!!
Wife just ordered me one!
Thats a pretty damn good price.
It looks too short to hold a good 50-50

Are you being funny or do you not know what gentrification is
