I could watch these auctions all day long. Especially when they push MOPAR automobiles across the stage. Thanks for the video post and best of luck 🍀👍🏼
I had a 70 Coronet 500 in college 40 years ago that I bought for $500 in 79 w a 383,727 and every option you could get and now they are going for $k70 if you can find one. They only made 2200. But I just bought a 66 all original Charger last year that I love
That's what I said when they started airing these Barrett Jackson Auctions on TV I use to record them all. The prices were so much lower then but not anymore
It blows my mind as I see some of the cars and trucks going by that high school kids used to drive during the time I went and the value they have now. 🤯
I'm not into new stuff but I love the Durango and the color is just so awesome! and that 1968 Coronet is awesome too and love the color not a fan of the rims but the car and color got me . So awesome!
There's never that many Mopars for sale on Barrett-Jackson. Lot's of Corvette, Mustangs, Camaro's, pickups and Broncos. Anytime a beautiful Mopar gets up the the block, they cut to a commercial. Extremely annoying. The 1969 Dodge Charger is the most beautiful car ever made in my opinion. Would love to own one.
@A M 3 years ago, I had 5 Mopars. None highly valuable, but still cool. 63 Valiant, 68 Fury (440), 72 Satellite Sebring Plus, 74 Dart Sport (a Duster with Adam Driver's nose), and 74 Charger SE (400 4BL). All gone now. 😕😑
@@pookysdad4884 The only things I don't like about the 68 is the round tail lights and the bullet hole indicator lights on the fenders. The rest is awesome.
If you are going to build a restomod mopar with modern hemi and transmission you should also change out the 8 3/4 and leaf springs for modern rear suspension.
Why? And I mean that sincerely. I have an all original 66 Charger and she drives like a boat but she's scary fast. What's wrong with the 8and 3/4 rearend?
It doesn't make sense that the 66 Coronet with a 68 440 went for more than a 70 Charger RT with original 440 6-pack. I guess nobody likes Sublime green.
Prices on Musclecars have gone Insane ... My wife doesn't fully understand why I can't part with my 68 R/T Charger. I'd NEVER be able to afford to get another. Not a Po Boy High school kid car anymore. Bought mine before I even had a full license. Gave $1,100 for it in 1985,put another $500 I'm parts to make it safe & straight. Can't get the interior redone for that kind of money Anymore
I know what you mean. I have an all original 66 Charger and fell into some hard times lately and everyone was telling me to sell it but there's no way. I already made that mistake with my roadrunner, coronet 500, challenger, gto and 70 dodge D 200. Not gonna happen!
I've never thought that the charity cars should be included in the top sellers. Of course they're going to draw the most money, they draw the money for the car plus an exorbitant extra amount as a charitable donation. I'm glad they have the charity cars. I certainly appreciate all that they accomplish for the greater good. But their selling prices are by their very nature, inflated well past any realistic retail value of the vehicle being sold.
My dad had a beautiful black on black 68 charger,I remember we wax that car so many times great memories I have with him and that car,I would love to find that car,I don't know where it went to,he traded for a 63 1/2 ford galaxy
Cool 😎 I've got a 1972 Dodge challenger and its a Rt clone junk yard restoration built from 1971 dodge challengers and its a 50 state car that's been overseas and back. I drove it almost every day for 16 years myself lol. What's that worth 🤔?? Not much apparently but hey hey hey!!
I hate that you don't show the engine bay areas of the vehicles much if any and if you're going to tell us the price that they go for before showing the clip of the sale then why show the clip? Am I being to picky or does other people feel the same?
The auctioneer voice is very annoying. I'd much rather hear the European style auction style. That would make things much easier for the TV announcers as well.

Love that GSS Super Bee I always loved the superbee and the 1970 has the bee look
This is what you call all American Made, the old days are much better then today

My god if I had billions and a gigantic garage, I would live at this auction. Youd have to drag me away with an intervention

Killer Super Bee. Want one.
THE WOMAN THAT SLAPS THE SOLD TAG ON IT AT THE END OF THE RAMP IS SMOKIN HOT!!!

@A M I hear ya. I have a Mopar and I will NEVER sell it
I prefer the 68, slightly. Had a 68 R/T for 9 years. Damn divorce. I miss that car.

@@thebob01 For me, the round taillights, dot marker lights, and smooth grille are the reasons I prefer the 68.
I would love to have one of those Power Wagons the original with the flathead six and the 1979 Power Wagon

@@danpals7678 all modern drivetrain with a original looking rear end/suspension doesn’t scream $200K. Besides at least put a Dana 60 or something.

The truck went for more than most of the cars! Unbelievable

When are they going to do some Chrysler's, like the 70 imperial coupe?

I bought a 69 440 cornet with 318 for 1900 dollars in 1975
I’d rather not have the exact sale price before I see the car and auction. A little surprise goes along way.
Check out our Top 10’s from Houston, you’ll like them better!
Someone needs to take a viper and drop a hellcat engine in it that thing would be a mean machine be able to eat everything up
The Hellaphant crate motor, if you could still get one. 1000hp, $35k.
68 coronet
66 coronet sold higher than viper
ONLY FACTORY ORIGINALS GET THE HIGH PRICE. Always remember that!
Still like the viper
Dear car dealerships....
12:00 🤷🤷🤷🤷
The coronet posted as a 440 with a modern 5.7 is laughable
Coronet 440 was a model name. A certain trim package.
Number 5 tie with the hell cat did they ever make it to fixing the diff? That explodes when you repeatedly try and wheelie your 😈 demon @demonology

I hate how auctioneers make that "diddly" sound between words. Who knows what the f**k he's actually saying. Edit: maybe it's "giggity", lol.

I bet wistlindiesel would cut those cars up right in front of the previous owners, and crash it on the freeway later....
