Namaste and welcome to my favourite country and second home after New Zealand. I always enjoy seeing other people's first impressions of Nepal. It reminds me of my first visit here, over 40 years ago in 1982. I was blown away then and it still feels like home when I return.. I have a feeling you will want to come back. I did. I'll be back for my 10th visit in September and will stay for 3 months.. Sept Oct Nov is when the weather is really settled and the air is clearer after the monsoon rains have cleared the air.. It's also the peak festival time. Enjoy the rest of your visit; I just know you will love it. But of course there is more to Nepal than Kathmandu - even though Kathmandu is a pretty cool city. The incident of the local pointing out you had dropped your card is typical of the Nepali people's honesty and integrity. That may happen in Kerala, but I'm sure you would never see your card again if it happened in Delhi. Pokhara is beautiful but touristy, Chitwan is totally different in climate and scenery. You must visit at least one village - there you will find the true heart and soul of Nepal and Nepali people. BTW, you can call a younger male Bhai, an older male Dai, (it means brother) a younger female Bahini and an older female Didi - it means sister. You will get a warm response. Generally Nepali's don't address each other by their first name, but by "brother" or Sister. And if you join your two hands together when saying Namaste 🙏 you will definitely get a warm greeting back. By the way, the monsoon season has just started and will last 3 months, so expect more heat and more rain and if you're travelling around expect delays caused by road blocks and landslides. Subha yatra - happy travels. Looking forward to your next video. Jai Nepal - Long live Nepal! 😊🙏
24:50 yeah same feels, it's giving me some Dr. strange movie scene haha. Kathmandu's vibe is unique, I like the old structures and streets, very interesting.
Shandar Mo:Mo, Shree Nagar Marg, Kathmandu. If you have time, you can try their steamed Buff Momo with regular jhol (white soupy Sauce- NOT hot soup), and chili sauce that's on the table. Drench momos in that soup.
I am glad that Kathmandu is still holding its values and identity. I wish it stays same way for rest of the days, it unique but beautiful in its own way.
Thank you so much, brothers, for coming nepal. Heartly welcomed to you both.❤❤❤ I'm genuinely happy by seeing that you're here because I'm the viewers of your videos from here.love you all❤❤
I think this is my umteenth time watching a vlogger do a video in Kathmandu and also the same roads(the vicinity around thamel) but I guess this is a good cause for promotion for nepal. Anyways thanks for the visit guys. Enjoy your stay in nepal
hi! i’d like to warn you that there definitely will be those who follow you to sell you something, mostly indian merchants who come to Nepal to sell their goods as there are already more than enough sellers in india! :)
Welcome to Nepal... And I would love to suggest you to visit Sankhu too. You would find nice natural view and warm nature with cultural belief and it's just 2 hr distance from Thamel area by bus.
We shouldn’t tell others to go somewhere where there isn’t proper infrastructure!!! Those places are beautiful but people will struggle to find good hotel and even the paths are not pretty safe to hike !!!
One thing Im proud abt my country, The Philippines, ppl in our cengested streets dont try to sell stuffs. We are friendly but we also leave tourists be.
20 seconds in: I laught at the “cold remarks”😭😭😭 man this is one of the hottest summer in Ktm ☹️ the rain you’re walking through is actually a huge relief Bc I deadass have been sleeping under the fan for last 2 months. I do Hope you enjoy your stay and do travel few town outskirts.
There are wayyy better restaurants in Nepal..:but you should be ready to spend a good amount of money as well… also…I would DEFINITELY recommend Chandragiri cafe….you have to take the cable car 🚠 for that…and at the top you have a cafe that sells one of the best Mo:Mo…also dharara is also a good option for Mo:Mo
@@saadk72510 but overall nepal street and city are better manage and cleaner than India. And people in Nepal also don't stare or follow people and ask for selfies.
You need to come during winter ( Dec - Feb ) to see mountains from Kathmandu.
Actually it's on sep-oct-nov the best time to see mountains
Plus Nepalese festival season those months
I don’t think in kathmandu. It’s more polluted during winter. I am from kathmandu.
From reaction to vlogs??
Fabulous 👌
Wel come to Nepal 🇳🇵 brothers 🎉

@@ChokendraChhetri haha 😎 cool
All the time Dr Strange is in karmataz….it’s either in Kathmandu or a green screen that they design for it to look like Kathmandu..
@@ishachowhan5032 part 1 was in Nepal but for part 2 they used green screen

JAI GREATER NEPAL
Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh are similar but more modern in some areas
Nepal and India aren't that similar. Completely different form people to culture and traditions. The only thing that are similar is just religion.
@@Is_tr897-p. I'm talking about the roads and infra not culture and people
@@saadk72510 but overall nepal street and city are better manage and cleaner than India. And people in Nepal also don't stare or follow people and ask for selfies.
@@Is_tr897-p. Ok thanks for sharing your opinion 👍🏽
@@saadk72510 yes thank you.. I've travelled both countries and was just being honest.
