Nope, nope. You don't wanna mess up with Eleven/Millie on-screen OR off-screen, lol. Her protective mode went from 0-100 in a matter of 0.00011 sec.
What happened there is Caleb took offense at the implication Millie was making when she commented how it was "disturbing" that the Duffer brothers found her kissing scene "entertaining," so he shut her down, and rightfully so. Millie was making a thinly veiled accusation of pedophilia - jokingly, I will grant - and Caleb would have none of it. Good for him. Some things you don't joke about, Millie.
She got defensive because she was completely taken aback by Caleb's reaction.

I noticed it right away, and felt terrible for the Duffers. Had Caleb not intervened, they had 3 choices: (1) Joke back at Millie in the same vein, and seem creepy; (2) deny the charge, and seem creepy for suddenly getting defensive; (3) sit there, say nothing, and smile while this 13 year-old girl, who they made famous, humiliates them in front of hundreds of people.
I hope Millie's publicists gave her a talking-to after this; she's young, but this is one lesson she needs to learn ASAP.
I think that maybe all this fame and popularity is going to Millie's head.i mean she is a great actress and all but what she did was so inappropriate and I felt uncomfortable when she said that.The duffer brothers made her famous.was it not for their show Millie would be nothing. I love Caleb for pointing at that and correcting it.
Guys I honestly don't think Mille meant any harm. I don't think she meant to hurt anyone's feelings. I think she was just trying to be, but not know that maybe it could have hurt their feelings. And maybe it didn't hurt their we don't know, but if it did I don't think she meant to. She still just a kid, and sometimes kids to say stupid things and they don't even know it. She'll learn, and she probably did after that interview. So let's not call her a diva, or say the fame has gone into her head, because she didn't mean to come of rude, or hurt anyone's feelings.
When they all huddled up I was like "WTF is going on." My reaction was the same as Millie Brown "Are you kidding me right now? What is going on?"
It's so sweet to see these kids act like regular old children. Anyway, it's reassuring to hear that the cast binge-watched it just as us the fans did and were excited about the episodes. Gives me hope for season 2 being just as good as season 1! I also love how one of the Duffer Brothers gave such big praise to the movies of the 80s and how they influenced the Season 2 narrative, because as a child of the 80s, I agree that they don't make great movies like that much anymore.

He originally auditioned for IT, but the original director dropped out and he thought he wasn't gonna get to play Richie or get to be in a film made by Stephen king. Then stranger things came around and he auditioned for the show thinking it would be like only a one season thing and ended up being a global phenomenon.

I live in New Zealand and we are a day ahead of the US, which means season 2 will come out the day after Halloween, so me and my friends are celebrating by dressing up as the characters on Halloween, then watching season 2 the next day

He actually has a partial stage fright. He talks about it in a earlier interview. He says he doesn't love to talk a lot in front of a audience of people he doesn't know at all.
It’s kinda cool to see how much he has evolved, he used to be most quiet in interviews, says his little one liners, but now he’s really at the center in a way, talkative, and he seems to put himself in front of an audience a lot. Guess the only way to get over that fear is to put yourself in those uncomfortable situations, and he definitely has achieved it

If Millie didn't say anything about how the kiss went then people would think that she definitely like Finn, but when she defends herself, she's rude and is making fun of Finn? Either way people are gonna say stuff about her so just let her defend herself and how she felt about the kiss.

She's not defending herself - she's just literally just being rude. There are better ways to say "I didn't like the kiss" than "Kissing Finn was eugh"
i think so too, she mentions the kiss every fucking interview and she keeps saying that she hated it and it was disgusting and idk i think that's just rude. I understand she's 13 years old but she also has to understand that she comes off as rude after mentioning it in all of the interviews. She's embarassing Finn Wolfhard in front of thousands of people that view the interviews.
+anzulem Yeah, I think Finn actually deals with it better. Whenever the kiss is mentioned he does sometimes seem annoyed by the topic because of the fact that he's been asked so many times but he never takes it too far like Millie does; one of my many problems with Millie's response to the kiss is the fact that she acts like it's the worst thing that she will ever have to do career wise and always brings her feelings on how the kiss went into it. Finn doesn't do that - if the kiss is mentioned, he talks about how it was a good scene, and never really says whether he thought that it was good or bad because he recognizes that he doesn't need to. If Millie didn't like it, she should keep it to herself (and actually, the way that she over exaggerates it sometimes almost makes me think that she actually DID like it)
Tammy Harper I agree with you. Finn keeps it profesional and Millie does not because she tries to be relatable I think??? (I hope is that and not just being a bully?) in this interview he does exactly that. He talks about how all the mechanism of the scene works perfectly with the story while Milly just talks about the kiss itself and not the scene. Glad someone agrees with me.
