If anything its the opposite....calling these body types 'plus size' or 'obese' is setting unrealistic standards. the second one is average but the third and current concept right now is leaning on obese (at least in outright terms of body composition, maybe someone needs to train my eyes better), perhaps just not anywhere of much substance on that scale...? the "skinny" body type is, yes, obviously malnourished, nobody added any "boniness" to signify it, though. thats probably why some kids (dont blame them, they dont know better) or, well, idiots, think its healthy. but its there, and thats representation. average people should be there too. and yes, fat people as well. just need to do this kind of specific representation right and make sure all of these models get the same effort and care put into their development as with the rest.

As a girl who was overweight as a kid (8-12)and still am at 17, who had a diagnosis of being pre-diabetic and having a hormone instability as a kid causing me to gain weight even tho I ate once a day, this is fine.

I am really glad they took the feedback and improved the model, but the fact that they even thought in the beginning that it was a "plus-sized" body is crazy to me. For the magority of humans on earth, the dti model we currently have is something they would probably have to starve themselves to look like. Does that mean everyone who looks like that is starving themselves? No. A lot of people have faster (or slower idk how it works) metabolisms and are just naturally that skinny. Same with the plus-sized body. Sure for a lot of people being that size is unhealthy, but people are also just naturally bigger. I’m gonna say the same thing I said on somebody else’s video I’ve been playing dti for a while now, and I’ve made a suggestion for the more inclusive body types as well as others mostly because I struggle with body image issues myself and I have my whole life. I can’t change, I’ve tried, it’s in my genes. My dad used to bodyshame me a lot when I was a bit younger and I’ve never been able to feel confident. There’s barely any representation and it makes me feel almost isolated in a way, I’m trying to learn to love myself but it just gets so hard. My younger sister is skinnier than me and she eats a ton more than I do, it’s just so unfair. I’m hoping I’ll still get voted for in dti even if I use a different body, and I hope younger girls will learn to love themselves and get the representation and respect they deserve.

when I had played dress to impress with my friend i wanted a body type a little closer to me, I thought dress to impress was one of those games where everyone is picture perfect without a flaw, but seeing them add body’s with proportions that actually are more relatable feels amazing, it’s not promoting obesity but rather appealing more to what a human is, not perfect, but still beautiful, instead showing that everyone is gorgeous and beautiful in their own way, these people need to look in a mirror and compare themselves to the original dress to impress body’s, this game expresses something for everyone, including the uniqueness of humans galore

seriously I really like the plus size body types is nice to have a bit more body types for my customization options and I also can see this as being a good way to introduce more clothing. ( like maybe having unique clothing for the plus size body types)
I'm really upset that women with bigger bodies in games are "promoting obesity" when really even if it is larger it's a healthy size not everyone looks like Barbie dolls. And if your gonna say something like "it's a modeling game there supposed to be skinny" there are plus sized models.

I am really glad they took the feedback and improved the model, but the fact that they even thought in the beginning that it was a "plus-sized" body is crazy to me. No wonder they were calling the It Girl body "too big".
I also hate the complete hypocrosy of fat phobic people. For the magority of humans on earth, the dti model we currently have is something they would probably have to starve themselves to look like. Does that mean everyone who looks like that is starving themselves? No. A lot of people have faster (or slower idk how it works) metabolisms and are just naturally that skinny. Same with the plus-sized body. Sure for a lot of people being that size is unhealthy, but people are also just naturally bigger. For some people, they have to go on some kind of medication that has a side effect of making you gain weight, and them at a more chubby size means their body is healthier than ever.

I’ve been playing dti for a while now, and I’ve made a suggestion for the more inclusive body types as well as others mostly because I struggle with body image issues myself and I have my whole life. I can’t change, I’ve tried, it’s in my genes. My dad used to bodyshame me a lot when I was a bit younger and I’ve never been able to feel confident. There’s barely any representation and it makes me feel almost isolated in a way, I’m trying to learn to love myself but it just gets so hard. My younger sister is skinnier than me and she eats a ton more than I do, it’s just so unfair. I’m hoping I’ll still get voted for in dti even if I use a different body, and I hope younger girls will learn to love themselves and get the representation and respect they deserve.

when I had played dress to impress with my friend i wanted a body type a little closer to me, I thought dress to impress was one of those games where everyone is picture perfect without a flaw, but seeing them add body’s with proportions that actually are more relatable feels amazing, it’s not promoting obesity but rather appealing more to what a human is, not perfect, but still beautiful, instead showing that everyone is gorgeous and beautiful in their own way, these people need to look in a mirror and compare themselves to the original dress to impress body’s, this game expresses something for everyone, including the uniqueness of humans galore

you do not need to be represented or identify with the character in a game for a game to be fun, the creators really had a good idea but they trashed it by doing too much, should be a learning lesson for everyone.
I think what all the drama is about is that plus sized bodies weren't an option since the beginning, so adding them now that DTI's playerbase has grown accustomed to the slim models, they view these plus sized bodies weirdly, since also not many games let you change your character's complexions...

My friend has a plus size body like the one that shows "obesity" i dont find it as obesity, most of my friends at middle school was a plus size and everytime we change clothes i would always notice how her breast is bigger because its because of body weight and like i said she is plus size like the one shown in the feedback, its very realistic to fat body, the 1st attempt is just bigger/medium tbh tho they just added body fat and boom+they arent promoting plus size.. They did mention they'll make the plus sized masc in the future, although you're so real there aren't any news on the masc. Last I knew were about that one skirt that could be worn by masc and the brat code items having masc variants but really that's it from what I've known.
I think in general all he masc stuff isn’t their main focus right now because it isn’t used often. Updates will come in the future though I believe.
They should add the both of the new modals in my opinion, I will personally still be using the skinny one or the average one bc Im somewhere in the middle of that
