I personally don't think you got fakes, they're just different batch codes and probably manufactured at different locations. The "fake" Asad is from a different year, so the packaging looks different. Some companies change their packaging every once in a while, especially Middle Eastern Brands. A lot of them do it to cut back on costs. As for the sticker placements, yes, Lattafa places them in random places of the box. If you got them from solid discounters, then you're pretty much good to go. Some batches might be weaker than others, due to the high demand of the product.
its more profitable to fake a dupe as most ppl getting it think its bad coz its a dupe. also more ppl buy cheap perfumes so there is profit in numbers.
Well, actually there's just different releases / batches. I have 3 different Asads from different sellers and it's normal if their boxes look slightly different. For example, I got one with "fake" notes on the boxes but the sticker is in the "right" place. And all Asads smell the same. They all last long and smell quite good (like vanillic Sauvage Elixir) And I got Bade Al Oud without a card inside the box and sticker on the front but with "Lattafa" note on the back of the bottle. And it also smells just like Oud for Greatness (but actually FAP Glorious Oud is slightly stronger). So, if you got the "fake" one - it's alright, companies make changes from time to time
I have the Asad with the small print on the side (the one you're saying is fake) and mine smells awesome and lasts long. I bought it on December 29th 2022 on Amazon and sold by The Royal Incense storefront 91% Positive Reviews. My box has brackets inside. There are 3 in the inside corners, one corner doesn't have one. None of my lettering has faded, it still looks new. Everything is solid as far as presentation goes. Wow it's hard to believe this is fake. I don't get any alcohol in the opening. It smells fantastic. I have a D&G One EDP that I think might be fake. I can't smell it. Only on the initial spray. I can douse myself in it and can't really smell it. I did get compliments one day though. I couldn't believe she smelled me. So maybe I just go nose blind to that one.
Your Asad might not be fake after all. A colleague ordered one from Lattafa's UAE website and received one with the small print on the side (the one this UA-camr says is fake). It was ordered straight from Lattafa's site. I think there's some silly conspiracy thingy going on somewhere.)
I agree I don't think that is a real appropriate way to tell because mine I have the purple white and black and they all smell amazing and last long time
@@ReckaBee3 Yes, they have. I have a 2022 batch of Opulent Oud and the sticker on that one is different from the 2023 batches. The 2022 sticker has more of a holographic ring/circle on it, while the newer ones don't.
@@BryanOSthanks for replying back, my ASAD box has the circular holographic sticker, however it doesn't have a QR code or batch code on the box or a sticker at the bottom of the bottle, but it smells great and lasts long. So I'm just curious if it could maybe be some old stock from 2021 before Lataffa improved their packaging and quality control?
@@ReckaBee3 Yes, that's probably what it is. You most likely have an older batch of Asad. Now, Lattafa prints their batch codes and production dates in black, so they might be hard to find, especially since the Asad box is in black. Try looking very carefully for it towards the bottom of the box or back of the box with a flashlight. If it doesn't have it, then Lattafa probably didn't start adding Batch Codes/Production Dates till later on. I don't have Lattafa fragrances from 2021 or before, so I'm just assuming.
@@BryanOS thanks again for your input. I also noticed that my box says ""Style from UAE" instead of "Made In UAE" I've been trying to Google this but can't find any answers on websites or Reddit
Ok now my Asad lettering has faded also I purchased it at jomoshop so I don't know if it's a fake or not also the good bracelet thing slides up and down. Now my oud for greatness does have Laffta on the back like all the rest and I purchased them all at jomoshop as well.
Lattafa isnt doing much in protecting their customers, all they need to do is to add a one time scratch card or one time scan qr code and problem solved.
I bought Oud For Glory when it first released from The Oud Store, and my old bottle doesn't say Lattafa on the back of the bottle. I think it's just very old batches had slight differences in packaging than the new batches.
I expect to see something like this at Marshalls or T.J. Maxx. I feel like you really start gambling when prices drop below $22 on Amazon for a clone normally priced at $30. I’m already wondering how they’re making money selling it $30
No fucking way!!! I was so upset when I got the oud for glory because "everyone" else was saying how close it was to oud for greatness, and this smelled.lile nothing.... Pineapple and harsh alcohol in the beginning and then evaporated nearly immediately within an hour.... No matter how many sprays I used, it wouldn't last. I thought that maybe I was going noseblind, so I started testing by asking others for days and nobody could smell it unless I had JUST SPRAYED itaybe two minutes before. Plus it gave me a headache. Now I am getting another one from somewhere more trusted than Amazon. Wow... I have the date on the bottom of mine. Plus it didn't come with a card.

What a sad world it has become when they are faking clones and dupes.

Where did you get the fake from? What website should we look out for that's selling fakes
Great vid brotha! Please do a review on Alexandria’s 1981X and Black tie affair. Its been a long while since you reviewed the house🙏🏾

Yes, Lattafa does place their stickers in different areas of the box. Their stickers have even changed design over the past few years.
Can you perhaps tell me if they have had different version of the holographic sticker in the past?

Great content
I have real bottles of the xerjoff clones by Lattafa and the writing is wearing off of those, Quickly. So that's not really a tell, unfortunately
This might explain why my 1st edition "Khamrah" is absolute piss-water.
Incorrect observation on the Asads bro.
I got a fake asad from fragranceX!
That BS Asad o had could have been fake I'm assuming. Cause it was trash
Fake clones, what have humanity come to 😆
U surprised?
Can’t trust nobody 😂. Clones being cloned. 😮
