It's great to hear a player, who plays for one of the best teams in the world, sound so humble and recognizing the appreciation to be in his position.

The only player I've been genuinely sorry to see leave my club. They said we'd put him on a pedestal so it's great to see other fans getting it too. Not just a great player, but a great lad as well who knows he's doing it for all of us who would love to be in his boots. Still pisses me off to hear Citeh fans singing our song, but hope they go and win it this year.

@@robdonkey1335 agree to a point, keep in mind it was his initial hold and pass that helped set up their goal. There are times when I think he could take on players but he is clearly under instructions not to lose the ball and he has gotten very good at finding people on the penalty area edges, also he rarely has anyone to play one two's off down the flanks to run on to as well. I think the next match will be more offensive.
At city there is so much individual skill and talent. Successful big teams want their players to play in position and play EXACTLY the formation and system dictated to buy the manager. There is little room for individualism.

Jack always does a great interview. He avoids the usual footballer cliches about 'taking each game as it comes etc'. Most of all, he is is so refreshingly open and honest about the anxieties and difficulties he has faced, in moving to City and finding himself in a squad of elite players. I've never heard any other player speak so directly in that way. It makes him so relatable. And he's clearly living his best life, as his Cheshire Cat grin attests! As a City season ticket holder, I'm so glad it's starting to work out for him. (I'd probably still prefer Mahrez in the home tie though, as he always steps up two levels in the Champions League big games. Sorry Jack!)
His attitude tonight was perfect, he stayed calm. On the other hand its a complete shame that Carjaval was able to finish the match without beeing booked. I say that and I was cheering for Madrid. Big Respect for Grealish.

It was funny seeing Madrid complain about the accidental handballs when Carvajal was playing NFL football against Grealish charging him into the barriers.
Pretty even there Rodri had like 6 fouls without getting booked and B.Silva.. ball was out of play right before KdB scored as well according to 3d technology
