Lets be fair. In almost all cases a player cant win alone but St. Patrick is literally the outlier as the greatest athlete in history. He can and does literally win games single-handedly.
@@samuelgaona7196He’s talking about Allen’s lack of winning the playoffs. That’s still, QB wins. Nick really painted himself in a corner with that term.
Brou is mixing up terms here. He's mixing expectation with hope-expectations come from a history of accomplishments, hope comes from change or improvement. Established contenders and stars like the Bills and Josh Allen have expectations based on prior consistent success. The Bears and Williams have hope, but they have yet to establish any success yet, so their expectation is hard to quantify at this point. The Bears have developing players all over their roster, including rookies at QB and WR, plus a new addition in Keenan Allen and a brand new offensive system. To say there's an expectation that they make the playoffs or especially the super bowl is a bit ambitious. Now, there is certainly reason for hope with the talent they've assembled, but rookies develop at different paces and Caleb isn't the only one on the offense who's learning a brand new scheme. Is there hope that the Bears will make the playoffs? Sure. But I'm not sure anyone can call it a true expectation yet.
The defensive injuries were insane. Milano and white, Micha Hide are pro bowlers who were all hurt. Daquan Jones was sorely missed for a huge part of the season in the middle of the line and was still banged up in the playoffs, Poyer was banged up and was in and out of the lineup all season, and then they were down backup linebackers as well in the playoffs. AJ Klein had to come in off the street for the KC game in the playoffs, and was an absolute disaster. Not to mention Von Miller was a ghost still recovering from his injury the previous season. They were still a top 10 defense. When healthy its one of the best defenses in the league. I expect them to be very good this year even though the Safety position is a bit unknown losing Hyde and Poyer this year. It's going to be Rapp and whoever steps up between Mike Edwards, rookie Cole Bishop, and Damar Hamlin.

Wildes on Diggs:"I think he's gonna miss Sefon significantly....... He wasn't even on the field as much as he was earlier in the year, but, I still like him there, you still have to think about him" I really don't think the defense is paying much mind to him standing on the sideline, they're probably paying more attention to the players actually on the field 😂 It's like Wildes and Nick strayed from they're historical Bills opinions for this segment just to see if anyone is gonna pick up on it.
Mark my word, this will be the best Buffalo Bills team since the early 90's. The Buffalo Bills will win their first-ever Super Bowl in February of 2025. This totally revamped Bills offense, will leave defenses guessing because they no longer have a number one WR, which will allow Josh Allen to spread the ball around. Hence everybody on this offense will eat. This will also minimize Josh Allen's turnovers since he no longer has to force the ball to Diggs. This Bills team will surprise many people saying that the Bills will take a step back this season or that their Superbowl window is close.

Nick failed to mention that out of 160 targets he came down with at least 110 every year for Josh which actually made him look like a serviceable quarterback
For real. they underachieve everyone looks the other way and still has them top 5 qbs. While Lamar has a bad game they questioning if he’s really a qb again and if mahomes has a bad game we talking about the end of a dynasty
@@KareemT11 Mahomes had a down season and won the SB, so no one's talking end of dynasty any more lol. Allen pretty clearly has achieved as a top-5 QB in stats and wins, so idk why you are complaining about him being ranked as one. The only real critique of Allen is not beating Mahomes/Burrow in the playoffs, and Lamar has been much, much worse than Allen in the playoffs.
@@KareemT11 For context, since 2019, the Bills have the 2nd highest win percentage among teams in North American pro sports (after the Chiefs). And you are complaining about Allen being ranked in the top-5 QBs??
@@KareemT11 When Mahomes had the worst regular season of his entire career (not just a game), it was obviously fair to ask whether whether it was the end of the dynasty. When Mahomes won the Super Bowl despite that, those questions were put to bed. Also Mahomes was favored vs Dolphins. But since the Chiefs were the #3 seed, were coming off I believe their worst regular season in the Mahomes era, and lost to the Bills in the regular season, it's not crazy that they were underdogs on the road vs. the #2 seed and the #1 seed
Caleb is under more pressure to me bc of expectation relative to ceiling & difficulty. The Bills are not expected to be a contender, as long as Josh performs great & they make the playoffs most ppl would say thats the baseline & that fits their ceiling. Caleb is not just the #1 pick hes the #1 pick for a QB starved city, and hes coming into a great situation. His expectations are: he has to be immediately GOOD, and the Bears need to be in the playoff hunt. Thats two thresholds to clear, & the Bills have only one (be in the playoff hunt). So i think Caleb for this year is under more pressure, Caleb is carrying the weight of decades worth of failure at the position & the pressure of living up to other great QB rookie seasons AND the pressure of taking advantage of his good team to get to the playoffs. Josh is the only one for the Bills who has any expectations, & his expectations are the same as they usually are for a great QB: perform. If anything, the expectations are lower for him for the first time in years bc of the roster.
The reasons you give for Caleb having the higher expectations are actually the reasons why he doesn't. Considering the Bears have been starved of a true QB1 for so long, the bar that Caleb has to clear is basically on the floor! All he has to do is have a "positive" season and he'll be absolutely fine. Josh on the other hand is constantly touted as one of the top 3/4 QBs in the league so his expectations are higher than most who even dress up to get onto the field. Finally, both teams have 2 legitimate contenders in their divisions but the Bills are by far the more established team which also adds additional pressure to the team/Josh. Just as Nick said, if both finish 9-8 and miss the playoffs who's had the worse season?
There should be ZERO pressure on Josh Allen this year. It is a clear reset year for them after trading Diggs, and completley changing their secondary. Caleb meanwhile, has SOME people in the sports media picking him to go to the SB as a rookie and say he's in the best position a #1 pick has ever been in.
He's been the most accurate Josh Allen analyst of all time Always had him top 5 to top 3, never said he was best in the league, never had them going to the Superbowl
Its disrespectful to josh to compare him to newton; cam wasnt half the passer that josh is. There is a considerable gap between the two. four straight seasons josh has thrown for 30 touchdowns, passed for over 4,000 and is the only quarterback to ever have 40 total tds four seasons in a row
2015 panthers ? Does nick not remember that defense? 3 1st team all pros and 5 pro bowler and a great vet in Charles tilman and Jared Allen, it’s not close at all. And the panthers oline that season was nasty until von miller came around. Cam also threw 35 tds
Yes that defense was great no doubts But Cam Newton led an offense with Funchess Ginn Cotchery at Wr they werent that great to be fair Olson was excellent at TE Williams was the RB Cam Newton say on my Dallas Cowboys that year? Stellar Oline Dez Williams Beasley Witten McFadden at RB I can only imagine how that played out with Dab Newton Romo was injured that season
When Nick fairly judges Allen, i.e., he's got flaws and isn't perfect, and doesn't just rip on him, he's so much better and actually excellent in his analysis. Yes I'm a bills fan but seriously it gets so tiring.
We won 7 games last hear and could have easily had 10 if we zigged instead of zagged. Entire defense is back and offense is massively upgraded, and schedule is easier. Talking about us making the playoffs like its a 1 in a million shot is so idiotic.
The people who say Caleb can't just be "fine" are probably not Bears fans. If Caleb hits 3500+ yards and throws for 325+ from time to time, we will weep with joy.
Nick: "Mahomes redefined how QBs are viewed without great WRs. Josh needs to step it up." Also Nick: "Travis Kelce is the best non-QB offensive weapon playing in the NFL right now."
Nick always moves the goalpost for Caleb, if he doesn’t make a deep playoff run it’s a disappointment, has the best situation a rookie can come into and if he can’t make a deep playoff run it’s a disappointment simple as that
Mackenzie played 4 games in 2 years, poyer and hyde were both in and out of the line up all year. The BILLS arent going to miss them much. Hyde might still come back if there is an injury at safety.

Wildes on Diggs:"I think he's gonna miss Sefon significantly....... He wasn't even on the field as much as he was earlier in the year, but, I still like him there, you still have to think about him"
I really don't think the defense is paying much mind to him standing on the sideline, they're probably paying more attention to the players actually on the field 😂
It's like Wildes and Nick strayed from they're historical Bills opinions for this segment just to see if anyone is gonna pick up on it.
Diggs is also on the wrong side of 30 where WR's fall off. Josh has a lot of young studs who he will bring the best out of.
How can the most pressure be on a Rookie ?
Nick baylesss
Exactly nick & Acho are skippy sons
@@WC13PHI215 whatch what you say bro people on here love Nick so much that if you make a skip comment they will tell you to go seek employment 😂🤣😂 Nick fans sound as dumb as his takes
That’s a compliment
@@DarthBinky89 😂🤣😂😂 must be a cowboy fan or chiefs fan .😂🤣😂just as delusional as those guys
@@DarthBinky89 delusional
how can brou say he’s surprised nick said diggs will miss josh more but then says he doesn’t expect josh to miss diggs at all 🤣🤣
Diggs was a really good 1000 yard receiver before he got Josh, he wasn’t ever considered a top 5 receiver before Josh, so Josh Allen made Diggs’s career what it became not the other way around
You crazy bro!! Diggs was cooking folks with the vikings and was there no1 receiver with thielen no 2 justin jefferson no3. Yes justin jefferson was NO3 when diggs was there my team saw this man twice a year and was glad when he went to buffalo
@@tonyoglesby3337 Jefferson came to Minnesota after Diggs. They used the Bills draft pick from the trade to take Jefferson
lol “appeared” huh ? Na he definitely snorting something
Wow....Josh Allen compliments? Check his temperature...
Sooo… Nick hypes caleb for over a year even before he was in the NFL. Just to say he only needs to be average to cover his tracks 😂 what a joke
Coleman is a superstar.
Do they realize how every key player in that “number 1 defense from 2020” is gone now. Edmunds, Poyer, Hyde and Tre. You have a Von Miller who’s probably gonna retire after this year, and who might not even start at this point.
Nick failed to mention that out of 160 targets he came down with at least 110 every year for Josh which actually made him look like a serviceable quarterback
The babaysitting of Josh Allen and Just Herbert is ridiculous..
For real. they underachieve everyone looks the other way and still has them top 5 qbs.
@@Seanksb when he was struggling they literally were and mahomes wasn’t favored in a single playoff game
But since the Chiefs were the #3 seed, were coming off I believe their worst regular season in the Mahomes era, and lost to the Bills in the regular season, it's not crazy that they were underdogs on the road vs. the #2 seed and the #1 seed
there is alot of pressure on Caleb. People think hes taking the bears to the superbowl. Plus he has a ton of weapons around him and a fine defense.
Nick was spitting on Cam comparison
Josh doesn’t have anyone close to Kelce or Reid. That’s the diffenrve between him and mahomes. Not a fair comparison between losing Diggs and Hilo
Nonsense, Caleb is under far more pressure
There should be ZERO pressure on Josh Allen this year. It is a clear reset year for them after trading Diggs, and completley changing their secondary. Caleb meanwhile, has SOME people in the sports media picking him to go to the SB as a rookie and say he's in the best position a #1 pick has ever been in.
Josh is getting over 30mill this season he better play great!
Keon Coleman I think will become top guy
Holy smokes! Can this be real? Nicks siding with Josh???
Allen won’t miss Diggs? Did y’all forget what Josh Allen looked like before Diggs got to Buffalo?
Bills do not need Diggs at all. Can’t wait to watch Diggs cry all year 😌
YOU WILL BE CRYING Stroud is better.
I’m with you on that one. It won’t be long before we say Diggs who!
It hurts to say this, but I think Brou is right. The Bills have a worse roster, and the issue is that Josh playing hero ball always turns out bad.
Is Nick Wright actually having a fair Josh Allen take? I’m shocked.
All of his Josh Allen takes are fair my dude
@@cbrown6894 Definitely not
@@cbrown6894yeah ok 😂
He's been the most accurate Josh Allen analyst of all time
Always had him top 5 to top 3, never said he was best in the league, never had them going to the Superbowl
@@timhix588 lmao name one thing he’s said about Josh that’s wrong my dude
Its disrespectful to josh to compare him to newton; cam wasnt half the passer that josh is. There is a considerable gap between the two. four straight seasons josh has thrown for 30 touchdowns, passed for over 4,000 and is the only quarterback to ever have 40 total tds four seasons in a row
2015 panthers ? Does nick not remember that defense? 3 1st team all pros and 5 pro bowler and a great vet in Charles tilman and Jared Allen, it’s not close at all. And the panthers oline that season was nasty until von miller came around.
Cam also threw 35 tds
Yes that defense was great no doubts
But Cam Newton led an offense with Funchess Ginn Cotchery at Wr they werent that great to be fair
Olson was excellent at TE
Williams was the RB
Cam Newton say on my Dallas Cowboys that year? Stellar Oline Dez Williams Beasley Witten McFadden at RB I can only imagine how that played out with Dab Newton
Romo was injured that season
When Nick fairly judges Allen, i.e., he's got flaws and isn't perfect, and doesn't just rip on him, he's so much better and actually excellent in his analysis. Yes I'm a bills fan but seriously it gets so tiring.
In a year diggs will be traded for ceedee
So only Josh and Tua have pressure huh lol.
Honestly when nick isn’t being outrageous for clicks he is actually pretty decent
Keon Coleman is gonna be a monster 💯 & I believe Diggs will come out fantastic this season with Stroud
Diggs WILL BE THE FORGOTTEN MAN.
Josh needs to step it up."
Also Nick: "Travis Kelce is the best non-QB offensive weapon playing in the NFL right now."
Also I saw Brady winning his whole career with no name WRs
And CJ not gone care if he's crying about targets
how does anyone let Nick Wright talk sports.
Let's revisit this mid season.. Josh will be better than you're saying.
Lamar won 2 mvps without a 1000 yard wr😊
John Harbaugh deserves those MVPs more than buddy does
@@JaromousJohn harbaugh would’ve been fired by now if it wasn’t for Lamar. Cut it out
It's difficult to get those guys one thousand when you can barely get over three. RB1/QB2.
The second one was a DEI MVP. Josh deserved it more.
Lamar has failed to turn multiple 1st round talents into 1000 yard or even good receivers. That's true
