Minimalism & Living With Less | Tiny House podcast | Ep. 4

Today we're talking about how minimalism has influenced us and improved our lives!
Minimalism I feel is a bit of a buzzword, I think people think it's a bit of a trendy thing or just think of empty rooms but it's so much more.
We started by listening to a podcast ourselves, The Minimalists podcast to be exact. We found it really insightful and eye opening to realise that you don't need all the junk that you accumulate and by getting rid of it actually has a significant impact on your life.
Since we embraced minimalism our lives have improved a lot and we've ultimately been able to live in a tiny house, achieve financial freedom and have a higher quality of life.

What do you both do for work. I'm interested as I'm looking to change Career to work remotely.
My wife and I are going to sell our house and build our own off grid Tiny home. Thanks for the great videos really helpful and I'm listening to the minimalist podcast 👍

Hey, thats amazing! We’re not off grid unfortunately, still connected to the mains and renting a spot. I think one day we’ll make our way onto our own place but all in good time.
Becky is an academic and works at a university. She works from home half the time but also has to go in for a few days every week during term time. We have a camper van that she commutes and sleeps in when she’s away. That is off grid so it’s quite cost effective.
I don’t work anymore as her income covers our expenses, I stay at home and look after the dogs, house and take my son to school etc. I’m currently studying for a degree as well so keeping busy.
