      Awesome to hear, I'm glad I could help! As for the vendors moving in the aisles... you'd basically have to add the new fan clusters into the aisles to kinda fake it. There is no way to actually add people going up and down the stairs at the moment unfortunately. Definitely would be cool to see that added though

    By far the best stadium creator on UA-cam, perhaps even in the game!
    I challlenge you to make a stadium that gets cut off by a road or water if that makes sense. Oracle parks overhead view to be exact. Would be a cool project.

      Ha thanks man! That means a lot. There are definitely a lot of good creators on here.
      As for the challenge, I'm always up for it. And, I definitely know what you're talking about. Oracle Park is amazing. It would probably have to be via a road since there is no way to bring the waterfront as close as it is at Oracle Park. I'll see what I can come up with though. I need to re-create the Portland and Charlotte ones, but it could be fun to do that as a project in between.
      Spoiler for you and for those that read comments... I turned the ballpark from this video into a retractable roof, so that's the next video. Just having some issues transferring the files to my computer at the moment, so I need to sort that out.

      There aren't actual stairs to add, so you just have to do it the hard way and select the concourse piece you want (in most cases, mine are just the marble rectangles), and then just offset them a little bit at the height you want. That's why the stairs are actually like 20ish pieces of those marble blocks.

    Don't forget Crawford boxes in Houston or the very short porches in Boston and New York. Think Boston is 302 down right field

    • @Gopper_Gaming-MLBTheShow
      @Gopper_Gaming-MLBTheShow  2 роки тому

      Yeah, all of those ballparks were kinda wild when designed. Boston is crazy, but it was designed to fit in between two roads, which is why you get the weird dimensions. Super cool, but they don't design them with those constraints anymore. Houston is just crazy... They also used to have the hill in centerfield there with the flagpole in play. That one was always baffling to me ha.

      Correct. There are a lot of ballparks that moved their walls in. Not sure what exactly this was in reference to, but yeah, the ballparks that were designed recently all had the stands against the walls in the original design only to have the walls be moved in later.

    How did you get the outfield wall's lined up on the fence? I can't seem to figure out how to. It keeps flashing red on me when I try to get the stands flushed with the outfield walls

    • @Gopper_Gaming-MLBTheShow
      @Gopper_Gaming-MLBTheShow  2 роки тому

      You have to be very careful to not overlap the wall... Not even slightly. Though, I'm guessing you already know that, in which case I believe it's more of an issue with certain wall dimensions. I haven't fully tested it out, but my theory is that there is also some validation behind the scenes that says "objects can't be placed within x distance from home plate". I've noticed with some of the wall configurations (like my new Portland one), that there is like an invisible barrier in some spots where nothing can be placed. In that one, it extended like 10 feet beyond the left-centerfield wall. It's weird, but I feel like it's more of an issue with configurations that have the wall shorter than like 325.

    Snap option doesn't seem to work I'll use the analog stick and press a and then it moves whatever I'm trying to snap to the left can you just click the analog stick it's quite annoying when I'm trying to do this and my Stadium seats moves all the way over in left field literally

    • @Gopper_Gaming-MLBTheShow
      @Gopper_Gaming-MLBTheShow  Рік тому

      Ha yeah, the snapping tool is pretty wonky, I agree. And, it's specific as to when you can use it. I think you have to place one thing down, and then use that copy and add method to add another similar item. Then, it actually lets you snap correctly. It usually goes off of the last thing you placed though.

  • @daxrobertelwoodfranklinsr.3014

    How you make your stands go close to the wall like that and what’s the number for it

    • @Gopper_Gaming-MLBTheShow
      @Gopper_Gaming-MLBTheShow  Рік тому

      The trick with the stands is to make it parallel with the wall since you can't go inside the wall at all. And, from what I've seen, if you have the more outlandish walls (crazy wall dimensions), I think the calculations are off on where to allow stands. Generally, the ones where the wall distance is between 320 and 340 to the corners do work to place stands pretty close to the wall. I haven't tested much outside of that range, but that is where I tended to run into issues with it forcing the stands to be further off the wall.

    • @Gopper_Gaming-MLBTheShow
      @Gopper_Gaming-MLBTheShow  2 роки тому

      It depends on exactly what you're asking, but in general to get the most out of the memory.... build all of your stands and seating first, including the overhangs. Then, build the concourse items last. Once you hit a certain percentage, you won't be able to add stands again. It also just depends on what items you choose... some will take up a ton of memory where some will take up less than you'd expect. Just test out assets and see how much memory they add to the build.

    Does altitude having any effect

    • @Gopper_Gaming-MLBTheShow
      @Gopper_Gaming-MLBTheShow  2 роки тому

      I'm not sure if the altitudes affect the ball in game or not, though I would think they don't. You’re wrong on the upper deck outfield stands. Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Coors Field, The Ballpark in Arlington. Two are still active in the MLB. Do your research before making a statement like that.

    • @Gopper_Gaming-MLBTheShow
      @Gopper_Gaming-MLBTheShow  2 роки тому +2

      First, this was more aimed at those putting three tiers of seating from left-center to right-center.
      But second, in response to your other statements, you just named a few sort-of exceptions and didn't look at the majority of ballparks. I'd say about 1/3 maybe have an actual upper deck in the outfield, but those are your biggest market teams like New York and Philly and a few others... Your top payroll teams. Others might have a sort of extended middle deck, like San Diego or Seattle. But in terms of a true "upper deck" in the outfield... they aren't designed that way anymore for your middle and low market teams. You mentioned Coors... and yeah, they used to have one. Then, they took out 2/3 of that upper deck seating and turned it into a bar/restaurant area instead. Same with The Ballpark at Arlington versus the new Globe Life Park. What did they change... they removed the upper deck seating from left field in the new design. You proved my point with both of those ballparks. Other ballparks that have the outfield upper deck seating (Oakland, Toronto, etc.) actually block it off so it isn't used. And why do those have that seating... because they are the old way of designing stadiums. Look at every stadium created after Oriole Park at Camden Yards, and compare it to the last stadium that team played in. You're going to notice a trend in outfield seating, and the lack thereof in the new design.
      Camden Yards is an exception too. That was the first of the "modern ballparks", getting them out of the era of the cookie cutter-stadiums with stands circling the ballpark. But even that circling of stands was because those cookie-cutter stadiums were designed for football use as well, and the football fields were generally oriented across the outfield. But, look at Angel Stadium's transformations throughout the years if you need another example of teams going away from upper-deck outfield seating.
      Like I said, big market teams will extend the upper deck more because they can sell the extra seating regularly. But in general, you're seeing the trend in ballparks go to less capacity and more amenities. And, that lesser capacity is removed in the way of upper decks in the outfield since they are the last seats to sell. My statement came from watching new ballparks get designed for baseball use throughout the years and looking at the whole picture, not from cherry-picking a few of the ballparks (even those you cherry-picked answers still proved my point).

      If it was for me... Yeah. It was more the whole "do your research before making a statement like that" comment after naming three incorrect examples. I get it's the internet, but it was like a 40 minute video, and his comment was purely in reference to a 15 second statement lol.

      @@Gopper_Gaming-MLBTheShow Hold on, those are not incorrect examples. Go look at pictures of Camden Yards. Go look at pictures of Coors Field. And go look at pictures of The Ballpark in Arlington (not Globe Life Field). And actually, yeah, I'll throw in Citi Field, Citizens Bank Park, and Petco Park as well. Multi-decked in left field (Citi Field), multi-decked in right field (Citizens Bank Park and Petco Park). That's six ballparks, five of which are still active. I know, I've studied ballparks since I was in elementary school.

      @@ZacharyWhite25 I think we kind of agree on the top ones, but you missed my overall point. I said that stadiums aren't being designed with a true upper deck anymore, and that if there are outfield seats, it's usually more of a second tier type of level. I DID say that you'll see a true upper deck in the top market locations where they sell out and have the seating demand, but that is only about 1/5 of the ballparks (which is what you are focusing on despite it being the exception). That includes Yankee Stadium, Citi Field, Rodgers Centre, Citizen's Bank, Busch Stadium, and a couple of others. Outside of that though, you aren't seeing them anymore. And, I stated it is trending that way, so some of the ones you mentioned are part of that transition (like Oriole Park and Coors Field). And, I said a majority... even if I gave you the 5 you mentioned and included 5 other debatable ones, that still leaves 20 others that don't have any upper tier at all. Here are some noteworthy ones to show the trend, including ones you mentioned...
      - Oriole Park: terrible example in general, as this one is one opened in 1992 and is 30 years old now too. But let's go with it... it was the first retro ballpark, and it was the initial switch from the cookie cutter stadiums like Three Rivers Stadium, Riverfront Stadium, Busch Stadium, Veterans Stadium, Kingdome, etc. (yeah, compare Oriole Parks seating to those... vastly different). They just moved the wall dimensions again there, and I wouldn't be surprised if they change the upper deck seating in LF soon as well, just like Coors. Why... because that is a trend with stadiums built in that time period already. Like...
      - Coors Field: Opened in 1995, modeled after Oriole Park in a way. What did they realize afterwards? They don't need upper deck seats, which is why they then took out the majority of the upper deck seating in RF and turned it into a bar area in 2014. Progressive Field (Guardians) was built in 1994, and they are doing the same thing with their upper deck seating, with construction set to complete in 2025. They are removing 2/3 of their upper deck seating in RF and turning it into a bar area, just like Coors. The trend is less seating, more amenities.
      - Ballpark at Arlington: built in 1994... new stadium in 2020 has less outfield seating. You can't use this one as an example and omit their brand new one. They removed the outfield seating when they designed a new one, which is my entire point
      - Petco Park: yes, some multi-tier outfield seating, but not a true upper deck. Again, new trends. Compare Petco Park to their previous stadium, Qualcomm Stadium (now SDCCU Stadium)
      - T-Mobile Park: built in 1999, went away from true upper deck seating in LF but had to keep upper deck seating in RF because of the retractable roof.
      - Minute Maid Park: built in 2000 after Seattle's, no true upper deck in outfield, just a middle tier deck in RF under the roof.
      Point is, look at the trend of how things are going with both the new ones built after 2010 and the ones proposed for those that need them in the future to see where things are going:
      - Target Field: weird example overall. Kind of upper deck seating in the outfield in LF and right-center, but it's more because they went with giant walls and little lower tier seating below it.
      - LoanDepot Park: completely in 2012, one tier of seating in LF, RF has an upper tier like T-Mobile Park and Minute Maid. Roof support purposes
      - Trust Park: built in 2017... no second tier seating in RF. LF.. upper deck cuts off at foul pole, middle tier turns into bar area with a little seating above and below it.
      - Howard Terminal (A's proposed ballpark): ground level seats only
      - Portland ballpark proposals: one level of seating in the outfield
      - Rays Ballpark proposals: single seating with a partial middle deck
      - DBacks: leaked renderings show a proposed stadium for them had no second tier at all
      - Vegas Ballpark proposals: mid-tier seating in corners
      Again, only the biggest market teams have a true upper deck because they can sell the seats. The other 3/4 of the league have moved to a more mid-level seating in the outfield at most, with one or two level of stands. It is rare now that a team will design a stadium with 3 true levels of seating in the outfield like those first ones in Oriole Park and Coors Field... and even those are renovating to remove that seating now.
      But either way, hey... it's fun talking about ballparks again ha.

      Yeah, what he said. The bullpen is in foul territory, and there is no way to change it. You can try to make something that looks like a bullpen, but there really isn't a point in it.

      Ha as in you are just trying to take the stadium and make giant walls with it keeping the same dimension kinda thing? If so, that isn't a hard thing to do since it would just require editing the wall height. If you're trying to change the dimensions too, then yeah, that would involve moving stands and all of that

They did all have different capacities, so if you know that, I could check that one. Also, just make sure the memory is under 100% for whichever one you want me to look at
