I have gone through so many videos to find duct sizing couldn't grasp until i came across this video my concepts were clear. thanks for valuable video.
Awesome tutorial. Question: the last duct sizing of 200 cfm, why we didn't pick duct size 9" width and 6" high and instead choose 8"x7". Thank you so much.
Thanks. You can take 9"x6" instead 8"x7" but if you calculate the area of size like 9x6=54 and 8x7=56 and in this case, I suggest taking the next size 10"x6" =60 greater area from 56
Thank you, brother for your informative videos One question 75°F Air at 50% and 1 ATM How do we decide this, for example I'm in jizan, Saudi Arabia. Will this setting be the same?
Great achievement. I am just sharing experience with juniors as they can improve their skills and knowledge. If you find any mistake then update me as I can improve my knowledge.
You can take Theatres/Auditorium Velocity for this purpose because of the crowd of people. It is my personal opinion but you can ask from HVAC Designer or other sources.
Can you pls tell me, how to find number of Diffusers to be uses, one Diffusers can serve how much area, For this 1200cfm, what size shall be the face of return duct.

Smoke Damper: Smoke dampers are activated by a smoke detection system that senses the presence of smoke within the ductwork. Once smoke is detected, the damper closes automatically to limit smoke migration. Fire Damper: Fire dampers are typically activated by heat. They have a fusible link or a thermal element that melts or releases a latch, causing the damper blades to close when exposed to a certain temperature. Some fire dampers can also be operated manually or connected to a fire alarm system.
75°F is comfort temp. and it is widely acceptable for commercialand residential cooling. You can use 68°F i.e 20°C while designing cleanroom labs based upon product / process requirement.
@@waquarashraf1338 no. Keeping the pressure drop factor at 0.1 in.w.g makes the overall project cost to be optimum. It also makes the duct velocity within reasonable value for a low velocity systems and makes the duct sizes to be optimum.
