    Awesome tutorial. Question: the last duct sizing of 200 cfm, why we didn't pick duct size 9" width and 6" high and instead choose 8"x7". Thank you so much.

      Thanks. You can take 9"x6" instead 8"x7" but if you calculate the area of size like 9x6=54 and 8x7=56 and in this case, I suggest taking the next size 10"x6" =60 greater area from 56

      You can take Theatres/Auditorium Velocity for this purpose because of the crowd of people. It is my personal opinion but you can ask from HVAC Designer or other sources.

Some fire dampers can also be operated manually or connected to a fire alarm system.

      75°F is comfort temp. and it is widely acceptable for commercialand residential cooling. You can use 68°F i.e 20°C while designing cleanroom labs based upon product / process requirement.

      @@waquarashraf1338 no. Keeping the pressure drop factor at 0.1 in.w.g makes the overall project cost to be optimum. It also makes the duct velocity within reasonable value for a low velocity systems and makes the duct sizes to be optimum.
