Froggycrossing here's a tip, when you have to dig up say about 100 flowers it may be faster to just save, quit, and rejoin than to cover all the holes up. When you quit the game all holes on the island disappear!

9:14 you should use the mini library box item! it's the same height as the mailbox but would fit the theme better than the mailbox so you could put mail in a more convenient space

bringing up piles of fish tanks outside, when first starting out, i decided that selling fish to CJ was gonna be my money maker as turnips were too confusing at the time. i had what my friends affectionately called “fish mountain”, it took up quite a large space (probably the size of the RS plaza give or take 3-4 spaces each side) it was amazing. the amount of lag it caused when people visited was glorious. you’d fly over as it was loading in in waves, never being able to see the pile in its entirety. i tried to keep track of how much money i made, sadly it has been lost to time, but it was a pretty penny.
sometimes i miss fish mountain and the simplicity of the early days. good times
I saw an island where someone made custom tiles of each villager's name and placed them on the rocks like they had signed them! It was super cute.

The big rock at the back of the beach, I like to decorate as a star gazing area because it's got such a nice expanse of sky.✨ But it could also be good for a fishing spot, or surfing/diving shop, or smoothie bar? On a farmcore island maybe a veggie juice bar with fresh produce from the farm? :) 🥕🍎

I absolutely love them all! Froggy you're so creative when it comes to tight spaces and\or builds. Honestly that's the most difficult part of decorating, trying to come up with something to put in small areas. Love u and your builds froggy
The reason why we all adore sugar is because a long time ago when we would hunt for food we would find sugar like fruits and stuff that we didn’t have a lot of. So we would take it and eat it because it gave us energy, and our bodies needed that. Also. It tasted SWEET. And now since we don’t have to hunt for sugar, we can just get it in everything. Our bodies get really excited because we want it!!

I totally get you with the beaches. I hate the fact my custom design paths don't look that good on the beach. I have an ice cream shop on mine, and my custom design flooring looks so blocky and unnatural ;-; They were definitely the last thing I did on my island lol

The beaches are super cute!! I also hate decorating them for the same reasons - but found that the ash trees and the pine trees made it much more tolerable.

Hey! Just a tip for those back rocks, I usually just put a picnic place! Whether it’s a blanket or table it’s always been the best bet for me. Hope this helps!

22:52 - actually, natural spawning items on the ground (mushrooms, rocks...) don't affect star rating at all when dropped (at least from what i heard), if you don't have 5* it's likely something else but after the tutorial phase, star rating doesn't do much anyways hahaha

for the first beach build, you could add another player for your island and place their mailbox in that section? i think you only need to play until you get a tent or maybe the first house but i don’t remember lol. anyway, love this video i’ve been feeling really down lately but your videos always cheer me up!!

I use the back rock as an astronomers hub. Telescope and star fragments look great there, or a picnic spot to watch the stars
I decorated my rock beach by making it a mermaid cove. I made a clam bed, mermaid bed, and a couple of pink and blue glowing moss boulders and it's nice and cluttered together. I also love SpongeBob so I have a "muscle beach" with volleyball net, exercise balls and other workout equipment.

You inspire me so much. Watching your videos always gets me in the mood to get on animal crossing and do some work. Though, I have recently restarted my island, as I wasn't happy with the choices my past self made. I've been thinking of turning the island into like this medieval empire type of build. I would really appreciate any ideas on what items I should use and what I should build within the empire. So any suggestions from anyone would be a huge help :)

Fun things from a farmer
There's a whole bunch of random items, both old and new, at most farms. Farmers are those kinds of "have everything and a little more" people. That makes it honestly very easy to have real farm vibes even when just yeeting random things here and there, because odds are an actual farmer would have that granted it's not too high-tech. My neighbor has a whole woodworking station in the garage, my work has a wall full of old stuff from former generations, and at my grandpa's farm the barn is full of old stuff no longer in use including a potato sorter and half of our old houses as we didn't have space for the stuff in our apartments. Seriously, ask them for a thing and they might just have it laying around

There is a gyroid that looks like a pig, and you can use duck decoys with bunny day eggs. I used these for a section of my beach
