Well, to be more appropriate to the subject matter...
The 8th Doctor: "My sonic screwdriver! Thank you!"
We did a lot of research all those years ago to get this one right, but we really only had VHS and DVD to work from, so a detail or two got missed. Now, with upscale blu-ray and images of the screen use prop from when it was auctioned off, I was able to plan out making my personal prop more accurate. Still no sound, but that'll never happen with this one.
Talk about nerves, though! I had one shot to get this right or screw it up. Thankfully, I got it right. - Розваги
A gorgeous piece... Had some issues with my personal RussRep/RB sonic but with the help of Custom Sonics managed to get it repaired

Ooh, very nice! Was that one of RB's earlier gen 8th sonics?
Yes it was! I worked with him on the research including proving the existence of the brass band on the handle. One the real prop it looks like tape but Russ did a fantastic job making the real deal.
No sounds?
Nope. Too old. Some of the people making them now, like Little Shop Props, have included sound now that the components needed are readily available and small enough.
I tried replicating the mechanism for my own replica. I got there in the end, but it's not easy to make and I wish you luck in pulling it off for yours.
Nice! I had no intentions of going further than this but in the future...who knows?

Do you have any of the new Rubbertoe or LSP sonics on order?
I was getting the 14th but had to cancel, but I am getting the cream 10th as it’s a huge improvement over the grey 10th.
