I like the structure of this building’s VE audio: 1: 4 second Attention tone (Sounds like a 1khz sawtooth tone) 2: Temporal Code 3 (Sounds like a 1khz sawtooth tone) 3: Message: “MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE? A FIRE EMERGENCY has been REPORTED IN THE BUILDING! While this is being verified, please, LEAVE THE BUILDING by the NEAREST EXIT! DO NOT USE THE ELEVATORS!” 4: Temporal Code 3 (Sounds like a 1khz sawtooth tone) 5: Repeat 2 - 4 6: Play Attention tone again. [Repeat indefinitely] I LOVE THAT MESSAGE :P
"How dare you and the rest of your barbarians set fire to my library? Play conqueror all you want, Mighty Caesar! Rape, murder, pillage thousands, millions of human beings! But neither you nor any other barbarian has the right to destroy one human thought!" - Cleopatra VII Philopator
Rather late reply. But the reason behind this is because the continuous tone is the attention tone played at the start, then goes to a code 3. Reason why its play like that is because the entire segment is in a loop. So after the code 3 and messages are finished it'll loop again back to the beginning. I hope this is accurate enough or makes sense.
@@mekaHX Are you sure that is what it is? On most other MXLs I've seen on youtube that tone is only heard when someone has keyed up on the panel microphone.
@@rwinnovation7758 I believe so but I could be wrong on that. I didn't see any other MXL's play that tone when the microphone is keyed unless it's an option to disable or enable. I just remember hearing that tone play Everytime the panel went off and it was on a loop
I also love how this system is so dang clear with the voice and the tone it’s self
In my honest opinion out of all the voice evacuation messages I’ve heard I love Siemens’ messages the most :D They just sound SO GOOD.
Have to agree. Siemens and Simplex have my favorite tones and messages, but Siemens is more straight to the point.
5:16 That Mechanical Horn Sounds like actual music, No joke.

I LOVE THAT MESSAGE :P
I love hearing that CP/Siemens voice evac message!
That voice evac system seriously gives me the chills
That is the most amazing fire alarm system ever with the voice evacuation system
0:28 That is the perfect Thyssenkrupp chime
Interesting system!
Nice! Rather interesting system
I like how the male and female voice evacuation message comes over the fire alarm system

Cool System!
That one fire alarm Horn strobe sound sick outside
Is that an intercom speaker at 1:30?
This has to be the Pattee Library at Penn State lol
Sick dude
Interesting voice evac system
The outdoor alarm sounds like a dying cow
How much does a system like that cost?
couple thousand
@@SytenixRBX oof. Well, I shouldn’t be really surprised.
The whole system is probably more than a couple thousand. Maybe like $3500?
Why does it make that weird continuous bell-sounding noise?
Probably just one of the various tones used in the evac message.
Why did the tunes kept changing for going from code 3 to continues?
